“You’re pregnant!” Dr Dae revealed, showing his perfect set of glistening teeth.
Chaeyoung froze, unable to speak for a long moment.
It was like she was deaf when she realised just what she had done. She watched as Dr Dae lightly shook at her shoulders, attempting to expel her from her mute trance. “-im! Ms Kim! Ms Kim!” He kept tapping her shoulder with a small shake.
Chaeyoung shook her head from her trance, staring at the doctor with wide eyes. “I-I think you got it wrong.” She blurted.
Dr Dae looked surprised from her sudden exclaim. “We’re not wrong at all Ms, we’ve checked 3 times.” He assured her, finally understanding that the news he brought was anything but good for the young girl.
“You’re alright. Just calm down Ms.” Dr Dae rubbed her arm soothingly in a friendly way.
“H-how far along?” Chaeyoung glanced briefly to her flat stomach.
“2 months.”
Chaeyoung stiffly nodded, trying to wrap around the fact that she was carrying a baby in her stomach.
“You’ll be fine Ms, just stay here while I get my nurses to get your lunch.” Mr Dae offered a sincere smile before walking out the room with swift strides.
Chaeyoung bought the blankets around her body, sinking back onto the mattress on her side. She wasn’t sure what to feel, heck, she was only 18, going 19 in less than 2 weeks from her calculations.
She didn’t realise that tears gathered in her eyes as she blankly her pillow, trying to lighten her mood with something other than the growing being in her belly. Her thoughts lingered onto Sehun and the night they spent in the cabin together, tangled in each other’s warm embrace.
She remembered the way he whispered sweet nothings into her ears, caressing her skin with his lips and gentle of his fingers.
She immediately scolded herself when tears began rolling down her cheeks. She lifted her hand to wipe them away but a hand shot out and took hers. Startled, her glassy eyes flicked over to the familiar male that could send her heart into an erratic pace.
He looked almost stunned to see her, probably because she was awake after 2 months and a bit. His silver hair was a little messed but as usual, he was able to look handsome. The hold he had on her hand tightened as suddenly pulled her up and pulled her into an embrace.
“You’re awake.” He breathed heavily against her neck, gripping onto her hospital gown like a life-support he needed.
“You’re awake.” He repeated.
Chaeyoung felt something warm against her shoulder, it was only then she realised that Sehun was crying.
“Why’d you leave me like that?” He asked, pressing his forehead against her shoulder. “I was so damn worried you’d never wake up. I thought you’d never come back to me Chaeyoung.” He whimpered weakly onto her.
Slowly, Sehun carefully pulled their bodies flat against the bed while he spooned her from behind. He kissed her neck repeatedly before burying his face into her red strands soaked with her delicious scent.
“I missed you baby. Don’t ever hurt me like that.”

Sehun had fallen asleep, still leaving his arms wrapped round her torso. Ever since he arrived, Chaeyoung hadn’t uttered a single word.
