The trio were long gone by now, no one could stop them, not even Sehun and his pack.
“Where exactly are we going?” Tao asked, treading diligently beside Chaeyoung.
“The palace.” Kris informed, “The rest of your memories rest there, after all, that is the exact location you’ve lost your memories in the war. We’re going straight to the place everything begun and is going to end.”
Chaeyoung shivered at Kris’s words. They sounded so grim, so anonymous it ignited some sort of dismay within her.
However, her thoughts settled on the letter she left Sehun.
She could remember scribbling it up as tears messed her sight. She couldn’t believe the hurtful words she wrote down but it was necessary.

She wanted Sehun so badly. She had imagined him telling him the news of her pregnancy and the look of disbelief spreading over his handsome features. She couldn’t sacrifice the lives of many just for her love. That was too selfish.
The letter she left for Sehun was written with intent to leave him heart-broken.
She hated herself for being so insensitive, but this was the only way of assuring that Sehun wouldn’t come after her and their unborn child he had no idea about.

Things weren’t supposed to happen between us Sehun, and I regret that I hadn’t stopped our interactions from the start.
Everything I did with you was a mistake, a terrible mistake.
The night in the cabin, it didn’t mean anything to me. It was another of my stupid mistakes when it came to you.
Please forget me, forget whatever was between us. It was worth nothing, and completely meaningless to me.
You were just something to pass my time with, and now that I’m finished, you’re no longer wanted by me.
I would be lying if I said I have feelings for you. I’m glad
