MY LADY- XIUMIN PART 5 2/2

Bom marched with a heavy foot towards Tiffany’s gates and kicked it with all of her might... the rest of the group were shocked at the strength she has shown.

“TIFFANY” Bom’s voice echoed around the place, her voice sends chills down one’s spine.

Tiffany appeared in front of them with a sly smile.

“You called... my lady?!” Tiffany jested

Bom immediately slapped Tiffany’s face sending her flying towards the other side of the room. Bom walked towards Tiffany who was struggling to stand up secretly reaching for the sword inside her cloak, Xiumin saw what Tiffany was planning to do, the moment Tiffany stood up, Xiumin ran in front of Bom and sacrificed himself for Bom’s safety.

“Hyung!!!” Chen shouted as he saw Xiumin’s body slowly falling to the ground.

Bom’s eyes widened in shock seeing that almost everyone is sacrificing their life for this battle between two goddesses.

“This is meaningless Tiffany... innocent souls are dead because of our selfish dispute... what you want I cannot give... even if I am dead, you know he will just resurrect me... this is my fate... this is my curse!” Bom uttered looking pleadingly at Tiffany who was shocked at the turn of events, looking at the once glowing sword and now turned into a normal piece of metal.

“No... no... no... it should have been you... it should have been you!” Tiffany uttered looking at Bom pointing an accusing finger on Bom’s direction.

“Enough of this, if you want my seat... go talk to him! Stop this meaningless battle!” Bom uttered now with tears in her eyes.

Tiffany was enraged because her chance was lost, she then ed the piece of metal towards Bom which Bom just avoided as she saw Xiumin let out and cough up some blood.

“XIUMIN!” Bom shouted, that was her last straw... she screamed so much in anger as she laid Xiumin’s body gently down on the ground and grabbed a hold of Tiffany and punched her hard to lose consciousness.

Bom grabbed a hold of Tiffany and threw her in a pit of fire as they heard her screams being drowned by damned souls claiming for her.

Bom then ran towards Xiumin’s struggling state.

“Xiumin... Xiumin...” Bom stated checking on his wound as she looked at Kai who was being healed temporarily by Chanyeol who was borrowing the healing ability of his Phoenix to somehow stabilize Kai’s condition.

“I may not come back like Dara... but do know this... I don’t regret helping you one bit... never blame yourself for one’s loss here... you are such a goddess with pure heart... never forget that... my lady...” Xiumin uttered as he spouted a lot of blood. Xiumin’s wound was through the heart which was beyond saving.

The rest of the guardians looked grimly as they saw Xiumin’s body slowly disappearing as Bom tried to cradle a part of what was left of Xiumin, his frost symbol.

“Even in my last breath... I want to be a man to you... not just any person... the one person who will protect you... my lady” those were Xiumin’s last words as a snowflake started to appear in that certain part of the underworld... where Xiumin was laid to rest.

“Thank you and I am sorry” Bom whispered as a tear fell on her cheek.

Meanwhile, back up at the Tree of Life... the celestial army was able to go through the unicorns and dragons... they were now slowly struggling to break through D.O.’s barrier and they were being successful with slowly breaking it...

Just when the barrier was about to give up...

Jaejoong appeared with his thundering voice.

“Enough of this! There is no need of a war for a selfish purpose... put an end to this and go back to Mt. Olympus!” Jaejoong uttered as the celestial army looked surprised to see the god of the underworld suddenly appearing.

The celestial army heeded Jaejoong’s words as they slowly retreated, as Jaejoong looked back at the group of guardians who were spent and tired from holding them off.

“You have done well guardians... thank you... thank you for stopping a needless and senseless war!” Jaejoong nodded as he disappeared.

Then through the gates of the TREE OF LIFE, out came Chanyeol, Chen, Kai, Luhan and Baekhyun.

The six were relieved to see that they made it through.

“Where is Xiumin hyung?” Sehun asked as he still looked longingly at the gate of the Tree of Life waiting for their hyung to appear.

The group who went to the underworld hang their head low and shook their head.

“What do you mean?” Lay asked in confusion.

“He... he protected Bom with his life. He died with honor.” Luhan uttered as he wiped a tear that escaped his eyes.

“Yah!!! Why kill me when I am still here?!” Xiumin smiled.

Bom appeared behind him with a smile together with Dara’s smiling face, Minzy’s usual stoic expression and CL was back to normal.

It seemed after Jaejoong knew of what had happened, he healed CL as Minzy went and looked for Dara in the river of souls as Bom searched for Xiumin’s and asked Jaejoong for a favour.

Jaejoong granted Bom’s wish as a sign of gratitude towards the guardian’s effort to stop a meaningless war from occurring.

Out of Xiumin’s happiness... he made it snow in the middle of spring.

“Yah! It’s still my time... stop ruining the moment!” Bom uttered as she swatted Xiumin’s shoulder in jest.
