“What do you want?” Bom asked taking a step forward never taking her eyes away from Tiffany as Xiumin tried to get in between them

“Trying to hide yourself behind a guardian... my lady?” Tiffany mocked Bom as Bom scoffed at the word my lady.

“Enough talking nonsense... what do you want?” Bom repeated once again

“You. I want you!” Tiffany smiled and then changed her expression to that of an eerie one.

“Then do it!” Bom challenged Tiffany as Bom tried to get through Xiumin

“Andwae! No one is going to do any killing tonight!” Xiumin uttered as he positioned himself in between the two

Tiffany just whiffed off her right hand as Xiumin came flying away. Bom was shocked at the sudden attack as she stood her ground ready for what was to happen next.

“Ahahahahaha! Is this the protection you are asking for? Is this the help that would stop me from waging war? Puny and mediocre Bom! Useless! I don’t know what Jaejoong sees in you... I don’t know why he keeps you to himself... so you over there!” Tiffany stated as she directed her attention towards Xiumin who has already stood up and has walked back to where they were

“Yes you... guardian... if you are planning on setting your eyes on this one... my lady... forget it... you are no match for the god of the underworld! Better yet... why don’t we team up and causing destruction!” Tiffany laughed as she tried to dodge the slap coming from Bom’s forceful hand.

PAK!

“You dare say that in front of me!? Now look at my dress!!! It’s ruined! What a great way!” Bom whined as she saw Tiffany holding onto her cheek staring hard at her in shock

“I’ll get back at you my lady... don’t worry... it will be your last!” Tiffany stated as she disappeared into the night.

“How do you do it?” Xiumin asked as he sat beside Bom who was obviously sulking after the confrontation with Tiffany

“Do what?” Bom asked as she shrugged her skirt free off dirt

“Act like nothing happened” Xiumin stated playing with the leaves under his feet

“After staying in the underworld for a long time... you tend to know how to guard your heart from any threats and you become strong... cold hearted and all” Bom explained while looking up at the night sky

“Oh I see...” Xiumin remained silent

“Ahhhh, the night seems a bit long now...” Bom stated looking up at the night sky blanketed with stars twinkling in the sky

“Your coming on earth marks the start of spring... so am I to assume that spring time is here already?” Xiumin asked looking at Bom

Bom nodded in agreement looking at Xiumin, “And when I go back it starts your season... winter” Bom pointed out with a smile

“We both mark the beginning of seasons then.” Xiumin released a sigh and looked up at the night sky.

The following days there were incoming reports of an uprise between the two town propers of YG and SM... it seems like someone is stirring up the celestials and daemons residing on earth... they were just supposed to be beings on earth who do good and just stir up some trouble but not to the extent of causing a war between two kingdoms.

The guardians had a clue who could be behind this uproar and it was Tiffany, the Melinoe, who was behind everything.

“What do you plan to do then hyung?” Chanyeol asked as they were back in the tavern to discuss their plan.

“We need someone to hold off the celestial army from passing through the TREE OF LIFE, we need to contain them here as much as possible, not allowing them to reach the borders to the SM kingdom.” Suho pointed towards the territorial line between SM and YG kingdoms

“And another group will go together with Bom down to the underworld to confront Tiffany while CL is already preparing her army to go and inform Jaejoong of what is happening.” Kris added.

“So... who’s gonna be who then?” Baekhyun wondered looking at the rest sitting around the table.

“I’ll stay up here I can summon barriers to hold off the army” DO raised his hand with a serious face

“Me too! I can help hyung with my wind cyclone barrier” Sehun volunteered.

“I can offer my light in the underworld... I heard it’s dark down there” Baekhyun stated

“I can come with you down there... we can cause havoc down there!” Chen smiled his signature smile giving Baekhyun a high five

Before they could continue their discussion, in came Bom together with Dara and Minzy, CL was nowhere to be found.

“Where is CL?” Kris noticed one member missing

“She headed to the underworld... she is gathering her troops to at least help us contain any army from getting out of the gates.” Bom answered as she sat down together with the others.

“Alright... let’s figure this out... so DO, Suho and Sehun will remain here to protect the gate from any celestials from coming out... Baekhyun, Chen and I volunteered to go to the underworld... who else?” Xiumin summarized what they have talked about so far.

“While DO, Suho-hyung and Sehun are summoning their barriers they need someone to hold off the army if and when they break through the barrier... I can help them with that” Tao stated joining the TREE OF LIFE group

“I need someone to go with me to clear the path to the underworld... passing through Tiffany’s lair... I can guide someone there” Dara spoke looking around

“I can come with you... I can use my teleportation so that we can make a path for the group to pass through” Kai raised his hand with a smile with that Dara nodded.

“I can also go down with you guys... join the underworld kekekeke” Chanyeol raised his hand

“I will stay here on earth” Lay uttered plainly while staring off into space

“I will join you guys” Kris stated putting his arms around Suho

“And I will join you guys!” Luhan nodded towards Xiumin’s direction.

“So the group who will be stationing at the TREE OF LIFE will be DO, Sehun. Suho, Lay, Tao and I” Kris stated

“And the UNDERWORLD GROUP will be me, Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Luhan, Chen and Kai” Xiumin finalized looking at Bom for approval

“When do we start?” Chen stated putting his hands together rubbing them, getting excited and all.

“Tomorrow... we start our journey tomorrow” Bom replied.

I am sorry if i took a long time to update...

and it is a bit short... cause i needed to find some inspiration for the upcoming battle scene...

and i've gained it from the ideas of my online gamer husband (once again, komawo... hubby)

alas... i can continue and finish this story...
