Me: L. do you remember the old lady we saw when we went to the shop beside the supermarket?

L: Yes, I do. Why do you ask?

Me: Can you go with me to see her after school?

L: She is eerie in a way...but rather nice actually... Hey, but what if your mom comes later?

Me: Oh yeah...

I suddenly remembered about my mom. I just hope that she won't come to fetch me after school...

L: Never mind... I'll drop by here after school... If your mom is here, then I will make myself disappear.

I nodded and gave out a sigh. Then the bell rang.

He went back to his class as I overheard a conversation between Mr Kim and the principal.

Principal: Mr Kim, a parent had complain about your attire and behaviour today. You better go and correct it, or don't blame me for not giving you chance.

Mr Kim: Hey, but there's nothing wrong with...

The principal cut in.

Principal: What nothing wrong? This will give the students a wrong impression and the parents will...

Mr Kim: Never mind, stop that.i understand..

Mr Kim turned and walked away from him.

Then I got his eye contact.

Me: Sorry...

Mr Kim:Nah.. dont apologize, its not ur fault

Suzy: I think it was my mom who went to complain...

Mr Kim: its okay silly.

Me: Really sorry...

Mr Kim: Is it true that your mom oppose your relationship with L?

Me: She doesn't like him...

Mr Kim: .. I've gone through that...

Me: What you mean?

Mr Kim: Means I was like L years ago.

Me: Haha, really?

We both laughed and I felt my mood lightened.

Mr Kim: Don't be too vexed, your mum just doesnt know how you feel and she doesnt know L  is. Follow your heart, do what you feel is right. Get me?

I looked at him gratefully. Yes, he understood how I felt.

He understood what is going on between L, me and my mom.

Mr Kim: If you need my help, don't hesitate to look for me.

I nodded and smile at him as my subject teacher came into the class.

Finally School ended

I saw L at the door already. Why is he so fast today?

I ran up to him with my sling bag.

Me: Hey, my mom isn't here. Let's go, quick

We both ran down the stairs and made our way to the old lady's shop.

L: There it is.

I pushed the glass door and a tinkling sound came to my ear as I stepped in L followed behind me.

Me: Hellooo??

I called out as usual and no one was around.

Suddenly, a head popped out from the counter. It almost scared me to death.

It was her alright...

Old lady: My girl... you have come...

I nodded my head as I looked into her eyes.

She stared at me, right in my eyes.

I drowned myself in her eyes, the pool of blue which pierced straight in, into my heart, into my inner thoughts. I suddenly felt , in the sense that she knew what I felt. I looked away suddenly, breaking the connection.

Old lady: Sit down

She signalled as she pulled out two chairs around her small round table.

Me: I... want to ask you something.

Old lady: You don't have to ask me, because I won't know how to answer you. You just have to listen to what I have to say.

I nodded my head as she looked at L

Old lady: No good ending... No good...

She spoke as she shook her head and closed her eyes.

Me: What do you mean?

Old lady: Actually, I should have stopped you...I'm sorry girl, I brought you into this trouble...
