“What do you want to explain? How you just threatened someone to pull the trigger on him?” she took a few steps back as she was getting afraid of this whole situation. She looked at Junho’s bloody hands and her face turned full of disgust.

Did I really just spend the night with that kind of person?

He took a step towards her and she just turned around and started running out of this house. Junho wanted to go after her but Taecyeon blocked his way “we have to finish this, I will send someone to bring her back.”

“Leave her alone, she needs time that’s all.” Junho tried to convince Taecyeon but actually he tried to convince himself that with some time she would come back. He turned to the guy on the floor “son of a if you just had answered my question I wouldn’t be in this ing mess right now?” He pulled the trigger without even blinking his eyes. “Clean up this mess,” he ordered the guys. Junho turned in a scaary guy, he didn't show this side often but when he did no one came in his way afraid of the consequences.  After they saw their friend being killed they didn’t hesitate to give up the name of the gang who hired them. 

I just needed to get out of there and didn’t want to go back to my place. I took out my phone and called Woo Bin. “Yobeseyo, Oppa, where are you right now?” I was still trembling. “Eun-Ju, are you alright? What is wrong with your voice? Where are you I will pick you up.” I looked around me to see where I was and tried to explain it to him as well as I could.

It took him a few minutes before he arrived on his motorcycle; I was still trembling on my legs.

“Baby-doll, what’s wrong? Why are you shaken like this?” he pulled me over to him and hugged me. When his cheek touched mine he felt me burning up. “Yah, Eun-Ju you are getting a fever. Let’s go to my place to rest.” He put me on his motorcycle and made sure that I was holding onto him tightly before speeding to his apartment. He picked me up and got me into his house.

“Woo Bin-ah what’s wrong with her?” I heard Sunghee unnie asking in panic. “She just has a fever, I found her shaking so I just got her here.” “Put her down I will get some anti-fever medication, make sure to get her out of those sweaty clothes.” Woo Bin helped me out of my blouse and gave me a shirt while looking the other way. He put me underneath his blanket “what’s going on with you?” I just grabbed his hand “oppa, I’m sorry to ‘cause you trouble.” “Don’t worry about that.” “Here give her this” unnie said to him. He pulled me into his arms and helped me sitting. “You should take this” he fed me the medication and gave me a glass of water. “Now, rest.” He sat the whole time next to me, patting my forehead with a cold compress.

When I woke up it was already dark, I looked at my side and saw Woo Bin sleeping with his head on the edge of the bed. I his hair out of his eyes; he woke up at the touch of my hand on his skin. He put his hand on my forehead “thank god the fever went down. What happened? Why where you shaken like that?”

“Nothing, I was just a bit startled after seeing something?”

Everything finally made sense; the rivalry I thought was a high school rivalry was actually a gang’s war. If Junsu and Chansung hadn’t interrupted Yong Guk I would have heard the truth much sooner. This just means that I need to get the both of them out of my live.

“Oppa, I need to go home, would you mind to take me there?”

“Of course not, just wait”; he grabbed one of his hoodies and gave it to me “wear this. You can’t go out in a shirt like that.” I smiled to him.

“Do you need me to stay with you?” he asked me, “ani, oppa don’t worry”

“If you feel sick or anything happens call me. arasso?” “Promise” I hugged him “thank you, I’m glad to still have you as a friend.” He was a bit startled but smiled warmly. “Go in now.”

When I came out the elevator is saw Junho sitting in front of my door. “What are you doing here?” my voice was shaking, I know he wouldn’t hurt me but still I wasn’t feeling comfortable with him here. I walked passed him a entered my code “princess, let me talk to you for a minute.”

“I don’t want to hear your explanation, I already get the picture of what your business is. I don’t want to have anything to do with you.” I took of the ring he gave me last night and took his hand “I’m returning this to you.” I put it in his hand, covered t with his fingers and got into my apartment.

Once my door closed I fell on my knees, my welled up tears started falling down. My heart was hurting like thousands arrows had pierced through it. I pulled up my legs and started hugging my knees, why did I have to fall in love with a gangster?
