There were only two days left before the ball and I didn’t really have anything in particular to wear and I was getting worried.  I just realized that most of the people invited were probably rich and if I didn’t wear presentable clothes, I’d probably be the odd one out.

As much as I wanted to ask Lu Han on the topic about dresses, I realized how much he’s been spending too much money on me lately and I didn’t want to add more.

I was lost deeply in my thoughts that I didn’t notice he was blabbering, well, it wasn’t like I wanted to listen anyway.

“Yah! Are you listening?” he asks.

“uhh— no” I bluntly reply and he sighs in response.

“When do you ever” he mumbles.

“I don’t know” I mutter.

“Let me guess. You’re thinking about what to wear for the ball, am I right or am I right?” he gets it right.

I don’t know what the hell is wrong with him.

“No use in lying since you’re probably going to pull that line you always say when I do—“ I reply

“yeah— don’t worry too much about it” he changes the topic.

“Don’t tell me you-“

“Yep”

I groan. I don’t know if I should be thankful or resentful.

“Try the dress!” he beams. Handing me a pearly white one sleeve dress. It was rather simple, wasn’t anything too exposing.

“Okay, get out of my room then” I command, not really comfortable in others watching me undress. No matter what kind of relationship we share.

“This is my room” he smartly retorts. You tried.

“JUST GET OUT!” I shout.

He just pouts and makes his way out.

After putting the dress on, successfully, I’m impressed he even knows my size. I don’t know if that makes him a ert or not.

“Okay, I’m done!” I let him know. He’s probably standing by the door, waiting.

As I expected, he comes in after 0.000005 seconds.

“Let me seeee—“ he enthusiastically says

“How does it look?”

“Well, it obviously looks good!” he nods in approval as he runs to my side and hugs me from behind.

He’s been so touchy, but it’s not like I dislike it.

He rests his head on my shoulder, he doesn’t say anything but I feel like he wants to.

“What if your dad finds out about my real identity— you know. That I’m not from a well off family” I casually ask. I’ve been meaning to ask him this.

It’s not like that secret could be kept forever. He’d be likely to find out soon. It’s been too long.

“Who cares about that?”

“He’ll be really furious, you know. He’ll probably be against our relationship too— Have you ever even thought of these things?”

“All I know is that I’ll do anything just to stay with you”

“Shut up with you and your mushy stuff”

“I’m just telling you the truth” his voice was really sincere, I couldn’t help myself from believing.

“I miss Jun” I say, changing the topic.

“I heard he’s coming to the ball” he informs,

“Really? I can’t wait!” I excitedly beam. He’s so cute.

“How many kids do you want?” he asks OUT OF NOWHERE that it catches me off guard. Well not really off guard, the fact that we’re talking about Jun.

“where’d that come from?” I ask in surprise.

“Nothing, just curious” he says

“Who said I was having kids with you anyway?”

“I’m going to cry” he cries, not really.

“No”

“Yes”

“Fine, I think one is enough”

“How about six?”

“Get out”.

omg, how many months has it been? I feel so bad TT TT, this update was really short because I just really just had to update! I will try to update again since its march break, please tell me what you think!
