As soon as Lay announced the movie we were about to watch, I already felt my soul depart my body. I forgot to tell you one of the other things that Heejin hates, and one of them-

Are Horror Movies.

If I can’t handle the dark, what makes you think horror movies are any better.

Dark plus scary , yay.

But obviously, I didn’t want to be a kill joy so I went along with it. As we entered the movie theatre, I could feel cold beads of sweat drop on my forehead. To the fact that we were watching a Japanese horror movie wasn’t making it any better.

Japan and horror movies, oh sweet.

I sat in between the two lads, both of their hands were laid out on the arm rests, where the am I supposed to rest my damn arms, stupid idiots.

I decided to not rest my arm, for now.

Movie trailers began to play, good stuff. Don’t let the movie start, never. I will scream and it’ll be embarrassing.

But no, after a couple of minutes the movie is starting, creepy background music, and it was hella damn loud so no matter how hard I tried to block out the sounds, it failed.

Wish me good luck in sleeping tonight. Those sounds will haunt me at night.

I was trying to make myself look not scared, but I’m not even looking because my eyes are tightly shut and they won’t be opening til we’re out of here.

When I didn’t hear any floor creaking, or any weird screechy noises I decided to open my eyes, thinking that it was going to be a not-so-scary scene but it was the complete opposite.

A scary woman, filled with blood splotches on her body appeared on the screen. Like close-up, and to the fact that she was holding a damn scissor didn’t make it scarier.

I couldn’t help but let out a small yelp, oh sweet. This movie, we were only ten minutes through it.

How am I supposed to sit in here for the next two hours.

As I my arms were getting uncomfortable because two idiots took up the two armrests on either of my sides, I rested my hands on Lu Han’s just to piss him off, because he hates it when someone invades his personal space, well too bad.

I was calmly watching, yes. I was watching because there weren’t really any scary stuff popping for the past 4 minutes so I decided it was okay to look for now.

I felt Lu Han’s fingers come in contact with mine, I flinched but he didn’t notice.

Why am I getting worked up, it’s just a small contact. Calm yourself, woman.

I decided to look around the room just to take my attention somewhere else other than his hands, Lay was really into the movie, I guess he’s the type to like this kind of stuff.

I could feel Lu Han’s hand move closer to mine.

What is he even doing, my heartbeat is accelerating, I’m not sure if its because of the movie or him.

I couldn’t help myself but to scoot my hands closer to his, before I knew it, his hands were on top of mine, I didn’t mind.

Not a single bit.

I took a side glance at him, and I saw a small smile forming in the corner of his lips.

We are watching a horror movie for hells sake not a romantic comedy, what is this. This doesn’t suit the feel at all.

He slowly intertwined his fingers with mine, and I didn’t do anything else.

His hands felt warm, as they always do.

I felt myself smiling from ear to ear, I didn’t even notice that the woman, whatever the movie was even about, the woman was on the screen once more with a knife on her hands, but I didn’t even feel a bit scared. I couldn’t even see anything because it was too dark in the theatre.

We stayed like that for the next thirty minutes, hands intertwined, smiles in the corner of our lips

I take a side glance at Lu Han and notice him leaning in to whisper something to my ear, he wasn’t leaning in to my ears, but my face.

My lips to be exact, what the hell is he going to do?

Is this one of his tricks to tease me again? It’s not working. Stop.

My heart is going to burst any moment  now, he didn’t stop, he kept on slowly leaning closer and closer until our lips were only centimetres away from each other.

I felt his hot breath tickling my neck, I felt my whole body go weak, I could smell the strong scent of his cologne weren’t helping either, it was just pulling me in, the temptation. His scent, so strong I can’t do anything to pull away from him.

What are we even doing. In a theatre, we were supposed to be watching a horror movie but what’s happening right now isn’t what was planned.

I see a small smirk forming in his lips, is this just another way of teasing me? Because it’s not fair if it is, playing with my heart like he always does, like what he’s doing right now.

I thought he was going to pull away and laugh at the fact that I was actually hoping for a kiss but instead he does the unexpected and he leans in to close the space between our lips, my eyes widen. I didn’t expect him to-

To actually kiss me.

My heartbeat beating so fast, I could barely count how many times it beated in the small amount of time,

I gradually reciprocated the kiss, I feel him say something in between our kisses but I couldn’t make out what he was saying, or I just didn’t give the effort to understand because my head was up in the air,

No one could see us right now, it was still pitch black.

That’s the way it’s supposed to be.

I could feel Lu Han’s hand slowly grab my neck, pulling me in closer, he tilts his head to give me a better angle, our once slow kiss is now a passionate intense one. I- no both of us ran out of oxygen so we had to to stop for a second just to catch our breaths but once I did, we immediately went back to it,

He fastens the pace of our kiss and I felt his tongue slip inside my mouth and I couldn’t help but let out a small moan, too quiet, not letting anyone hear it but him.

My once cold beads of sweat of fear were now turning to hot beads of sweat of passion.

Sweat, tongue, his scent , more sweat, haste kisses

Once we felt exhausted of kissing, we didn’t even know it was possible to stop but we did.

Once we did, the movie was only minutes away from finishing.

I feel him stare at me with a small smile on his face, sweat trickling in his neck,  his hair quite messy from my hands ruffling them,

Did we just do that?

“Did that just happen?,” I whisper breathily to him, quite astounded of what just happened. We were still both catching our breaths, my heartbeat accelerating, beads of sweat dropping on our faces,

And he just nodded,

We didn’t say anything else and just sat there, his hands still intertwined with mine.

My heart was still beating as fast as before, I won’t be able to calm it down.

Did that kiss mean something to him too? Was his heart beating as fast as mine was? Will something happen between us, after what just happened?

Many questions popped out of my head, but for now I decided to stay quiet and take in what just happened. I was in a bliss.

After the movie ended, we went out of the theatre, Lu Han and I let go of each other’s hands and followed Lay out quietly.

“Did you enjoy the movie?,” Lay asked,

I just nod, I didn’t even know what the movie was about anymore.

Lu Han didn’t say anything, he was just staring ahead, his cheeks were beet red, he looked really flustered.

“You two sure are sweaty, it was pretty chilly in there,” Lay said.

Are you sure? Because for me it was pretty hot.

here's an update! God, i was actually giggling while writing this chapter, I didn't even see the kiss part coming, I didn't plan it, I just unconciously wrote it down omg, what do you guys think? Poor Lay, knows nothing.
