“ Hey Lay.. You just missed half of your life yesterday” Xiumin boasted.

                Lay just smiled.

“ where were you anyway?” Tao asked.

“ Somewhere” He answered.

“ By the way, K, what happened ‘bout you and Yuri? Have you already talked to her?” Xiumin asked.

“ we did.. yesterday.. I told her to teach me every after class”

“ did she agreed?”

“ of course she did.. in fact, we were supposed to meet yesterday”’     

                Lay looked at Kris.

“ Did you know that she waited for you yesterday?” Lay asked.

“ I know she’d wait… but who cares? I wouldn’t choose to study with a boring tutor over hanging out with my friends most especially with Yoona”

“what about me?” Yoona butted in as she and Jessica approached them.

“ Lay.. you look so tired.. you want something?” Jessica asked as she wiped Lay’s sweat from playing basketball.

                Lay politely pushed her hands away.

“ Its okay..” He said

“ Its nothing yoona, its just Kris –“ Xiumin said.

“ Its just me and all the crazy stuff we did yesterday” Kris cut him off.

“ Well, I did enjoyed yesterday” Yoona said.

                Lay stood up and started to0 walk.

“ Where are you going Lay?” Tao asked.

“ somewhere..” He answered and walked away.

                Jessica frowned.

“ why does he always walks away when Im here?” Jessica heaved a sigh.

“ Don’t worry Jessica.. I am always here” Xiumin said as he put his arms around her shoulders. Jessica rolled her eyes and elbowed him

“ stay away from me Baozi”

                Lay was walking when he heard a conversation.

“ she really is pathetic..” one of the three girls said.

“ Yeah.. I know right.. she’s like a freak… a total freak..” The other one added.

“ Duh.. She don’t even have a friend… and I bet she never had one..”

“ excuse me” Lay walked pass them and looked for the girl the three girls were talking about which was just in front of the three.

“ Oh! Its Lay!”

“ He’s hot… Hi Lay”

                Lay ignored them.

“ Yuri” He called her.

                Yuri who was shocked look at him confused.

“ Hi! How are you?” He asked and smiled.

                The three girls was shocked as well. Lay never talked to anyone except her few friends. But now he’s talking to the school’s nerd.

“ I… im okay..” She answered.

“ Are you free? Let’s eat.. My treat” Lay said.

“ wha—“

“ Kaja” Lay already has his hand oh hers as they walked outside the library.

                They were at the school’s empty music room.

“wh-what are we doing here? Why did you do that?” Yuri asked.

“Did what?”

“ you talked to me in front of many people”

“ So? What’s the problem..”

“ Arent you… afraid of what others would think of you? I mean… you’re popular and im…”

“ you’re not what you think you are Yuri.. in fact, you are much more worth talking to.. you’re better than them” Lay said.

                Yuri looked at him surprised. No one ever told her that. No one even dared to talk to her.

“ tell me.. you heard what they were saying right?” Lay asked

                Yuri looked down.

“So you herad?”

“y-yes”

“ Then why are you letting them insult you?”

                Yuri heaved a sigh.

“ Let them do what they want to do.. let them say what they want to say” She said.

“ that’s it? You’ll just let them?”

“ defending myself wouldn’t change anything”

                Lay stayed silent for a moment.

“ So.. You were waiting for Kris yesterday?”

                Yuri looked at him surprised.

“h—how did you”

“ that does not matter.. hey wait.. have you heard me sing?” Lay asked as he took the giutar beside him.  Yuri shook her head.

                Lay started to strum the giutar and started singing “ My Lady( exo)”

                After playing the guitar. Lay smiled as he saw her peacefully sleeping.

“ You are different “ He said and stared at her for a while.
