“I’ll be going now, Mr. Jang.” You bowed and headed out of the room. When you closed the door, your phone beeped indicating you recieved a new message. You stopped and pulled out your phone. It was a message from Ricky. You opened the message.

‘Tae Hee, let’s meet up before class starts! I’ll be waiting at the skyway.’ – Ricky

 You furrowed your brows. “Why would he want to meet up when we have class together?” You shrugged and replied an ‘okay’ back before slipping your phone into your pocket and headed towards the skyway.

When you arrived at the skyway, you were expecting a black headed Ricky, but found…a blonde headed Ricky? You stopped a couple steps away and tilted your head examining the figure then it clicked in your head. It wasn’t Ricky, it was…L.Joe.

Your eyes rounded in realization and you quickly spun around, but stopped when your shoes squeaked and L.Joe turned around. “Tae Hee-ah.” He called. You squeezed your eyes shut and took a deep breath.

You slowly turned around and held a straight face. “What are you doing here? Where’s Ricky?” You asked, crossing your arms. “Ricky didn’t text you, I did. I used his phone without him knowing.” L.Joe confessed. You narrowed your eyes at him. “Why?” “Because I needed to talk to you.” You rolled your eyes, “I’m not wasting my time anymore I’m leaving.” You spun around, but was stopped when a hand grabbed your wrist.

You looked over your shoulder at L.Joe. You pulled your wrist free from his grip and turned to face him. “What do you want?” You asked clearly annoyed. “We need to talk.” L.Joe declared. “There’s nothing we need to talk about. We already broken up so I don’t see any connection between the two of us.” L.Joe swallowed.

“I was wrong. I’m sorry.” He apologized looking down at the ground.

You stared at him is disbelief. He was actually apologizing to you after all that happened. You scoffed and rolled your eyes, but your heart pained. You knew you still had feelings for him, but you weren’t going to admit that.

“So, you know you were wrong. Great.” You said full of sarcasm. “Tae Hee.” L.Joe looked up. You shook your head, “I think I’ve heard enough. I don’t hold grudges, so I’ll accept your apology.” L.Joe brightened up at your words. “So, does this mean…we can be friends?” He cautiously asked. “That…I don’t know. We just, you know…” You took a deep breath and looked into L.Joe’s eyes. “I…I don’t think that possible right now. I just…need more time. I’m sorry.” You quickly spun around and started walking away.

L.Joe watched you walk away with a heavy heart.

“I thought you were going to ditch class or something when I didn’t see you here first.” Ricky smiled. You gave him a meek smile. “Sorry, I had something to do before coming to class.” You apologized. Ricky shrugged. “It’s okay, so how are you feeling?” “Better I guess.” “Do you…still like L.Joe hyung?”

It was silent between the two of you.

“…I do.” You admitted. Ricky’s eyes rounded, “Y-you do?” You let out a small sigh and nodded. “I do still like him, but I wish I didn’t. This emotional toll isn’t something I want. I hate it.” “Tae Hee.” “I just wish that I could stop myself. It’s not like I miss or like him more than I did before. The feeling is just still lingering there. It pains me to see him Ricky.” Tears were at the brim of your eyes. Ricky softened seeing you, the tough tomboy, at the verge of breaking down.

The latter pulled you into a hug. A tear trickled down your cheek as your forehead rested against his shoulder. “It’s okay. I’m here for you and I’ll support you no matter what. I admit that L.Joe hyung was stupid for breaking up with you and finding out the truth later. He’s really stupid for that, but he still cares for you. I’m not saying that you should go back to him, I’m just saying that L.Joe hyung still cares for you.” Ricky said softly. You nodded in response.

The two of you stayed like that for a few minutes before pulling away. You gave Ricky a meek smile. The latter also smiled back at you. “Gomawo.” You thanked. “It’s nothing; this is what friends are for. Fighting Yang Tae Hee.” Ricky pumped his fist. You nodded.

You groaned at the sight of L waiting outside your class. *Seriously? Another one?*

Ricky had left right after you guys music class because there was an important Teen Top meeting, so he left.

“What do you want?” You asked coldly standing in front of L, who l
