The rest of the day went by slow for you. You were barely paying attention in class, but enough to make your professors not be suspicious about you. All you had in mind was find L.Joe, but you couldn’t find him. You even asked Ricky, who also didn’t know where L.Joe was.

So you went to class with heavy shoulders, but put on a smile so that no one knew what was wrong. After orchestra class, you wanted to head home, but then again you didn’t. So you decided to go to the senior center, since you haven’t been there in a long time and you missed halmoni Lee.

Instead of going home, you took the bus to the senior center. It was a twenty minute bus ride, so on the bus you practiced your s for your solo while listening to it on you iPod.

When it was finally your stop, you grabbed your viola, backpack, and got off. You snuggled more into your black jacket, since winter was approaching.

You finally arrived at the senior center. You greeted Mrs. Kang, “Annyeong-hasaeyo.” “Oh. Tae Hee-ah, you’re here.” Mrs. Kang smiled. You nodded. “How’s the senior center?” “It’s good like always. Are you dropping by?” You nodded again. “Halmoni Lee is in her room.” “Gomawo.” You bowed and headed towards the elevators.

“Tae Hee-ah,” Mrs. Kang called. You turned around. “Yes?” “Halmoni Lee has company.” “Oh, really?” Mrs. Kang nodded. “Oh. Well, I’m just dropping by so hopefully I’m not disturbing anything.” Mrs. Kang smiled, “I’ll call Halmoni Lee and tell her you’re on your way that way you won’t be disturbing anything.” You smiled and nodded. “Gomawo, Mrs. Kang.”

Mrs. Kang nodded and dialed halmoni’s number. You proceed towards the elevators.

“Oh, yes, I’ll be waiting for her then.” Halmoni Lee said hanging up. L.Joe looked at his halmoni. “Who was that halmoni?” He asked. Halmoni Lee smiled at him and replied, “A visitor. She’s coming up. I think you’ll like her.” “She?” Halmoni Lee nodded.

A soft knock came from the door. Halmoni Lee stood up and answered the door. “Annyeong-hasaeyo halmoni.” You greeted happily. “Aigoo, you’re always so formal Tae Hee-ah.” Halmoni Lee chuckled.

*Tae Hee?* L.Joe stiffen at the mention of your name. *No, it can’t be her. It has to be someone else. It can’t be the Tae Hee I know.*

“Byunghun-ah,” Halmoni Lee called. L.Joe broke out of his thoughts and looked up and his grandma. Standing next to her was you. His eyes rounded in surprise. You gave him a small bow, which he returned.

*Oh my goodness. L.Joe is here with halmoni! I was not expecting this! What to do?! But funny how I was looking for him and he was here. Wow, way to go Tae Hee.*

Halmoni Lee led you to sit next to her. L.Joe still couldn’t believe that you were sitting in front of him. Ever since that little incident that you saw him in, he didn’t know how to show his face to you.

From the first glance, you already stole his heart and the feeling didn’t disappear, but grew bigger day by day. But that little kiss scene that you and Ricky accidentally saw was something he never planned on.

“Byunghun-ah,” Halmoni Lee called. L.Joe blinked and looked at his halmoni. “Yes halmoni?” “Are you okay? You keep on spacing out.” “Oh. Uh, I’m fine.” Halmoni Lee suspiciously looked at L.Joe, but went back to talking to you.

“Tae Hee-ah, did you come by and visit me?” Halmoni Lee asked. You smiled. “Of course halmoni, I’ve missed you.” You replied. “Aigoo, you’re so sweet Tae Hee.” You laughed.

L.Joe was mesmerized by your laughter. He loved the way you laughed. It was a lovely melody in his ears.

“I heard you’re doing a solo at the winter concert, am I right?” Halmoni Lee asked. You nodded. “You’re right. I’m doing a solo and I’m preparing really hard for it. Halmoni, you should come to the winter concert. I know you’ll love it.” “I should, shouldn’t I?” You nodded.

Halmoni Lee turned to L.Joe. “Byunghun-ah, would you like to go to the winter concert with me?” “Winter concert?” L.Joe asked confused. Halmoni Lee nodded. “The one held by the instrumental department?” He asked.  You nodded, “Yes.”
