Seungri’s POV

They ended up at the same set of chairs he had found his noona and hyung at the other night. He wished they could have found some place else, but since Nikky-noona had taken the lead, he didn’t have much choice. She sat in one chair while he sat in the other and he couldn’t help but look away as she looked at him. He knew what she was going through, everything that had happened except what had caused her and Top to fight, yet here she was, the concern for him written all over her face. He felt horrible for making her concerned about him when she was the one that needed someone. What a silly maknae he was…

“Now Ri,” she said as she reached over and laid a hand on one of his, “tell me what’s wrong.”

He sighed as he looked down at her hand. As much as he wanted to talk about other things, happy things, things that would make her smile, he decided he might as well get straight to the point. “Do you not like us, noona?”

“What?” He turned to her as she squeezed his hand. “Of course I do.” The puzzled look combined with a smile on her face was slightly comical, but right now the maknae couldn’t bring himself to about it.

“Then why leave?” He caught her gaze and couldn’t keep the sad look out of his eyes. As much as he wanted to hug her and comfort her because of what happened earlier, he knew he had to get her to admit what he already knew if he was ever going to get her to stay. But he couldn’t just come right out and ask. No, he had to use the people skills he had perfected as an MC, which is why he didn’t immediately drop the subject when he saw the sadness she tried to hide.

She sighed and drew her hand away, avoiding his gaze and causing his heart to ache. “Seungri, you knew it was just going to be for a week.”

But even as she drew away, he reached back out and grabbed onto her hand, not wanting to lose that contact. He knew he didn’t have much time left to talk with her, get her to confess, and then convince her to stay. Seungri thought he knew just how to do that, but first thing was first: the confession. “But you like us, yes?”

The smile she sent him almost caused him to smile back, it was just so contagious, just like Dae-hyungs. Yet his face remained the same, even as she answered. “Very much, Ri. You know that.”

“Do you like one of us more?”

He caught the start she tried to hide and the way her smile slightly faltered and that told him enough even though her answer tried to deny it. “More? I like all of you,” she said with a slight laugh.

But it was too late. Her reaction just cemented his knowledge. “Noona, you know.” He raised an eyebrow as he caught and kept her gaze. He would be lying if he said he hadn’t hoped that maybe he was wrong. He had discovered he was developing feelings, but he had squashed those when he saw his hyung’s phone. Yet he would be lying if he hadn’t been harboring just a little hope deep, deep down. But getting her to confess her feelings and stay, making her and the other hyungs happy was more important than keeping that little bit of home burning.

He watched as she blushed slightly then looked away, her lips before talking. “That’s just silly Seungri. Why-“

“I know you like Top-hyung,” he cut in, not able to listen to her try and lie about it. When she was silent, he just smiled sadly. “I am right.” He leaned back in the chair with a sigh, keeping his eyes on her. He wondered whether she had known the entire time or whether it had sort of snuck up on her. He knew his hyung had feelings since the beginning, but noona wasn’t as easy for him to read. Actually, Top-hyung hadn’t been easy to read either, he had just sort of accidentally stumbled upon it. As far as he could tell, neither had admitted it out loud until now, but he could be wrong. “Noona is not fair, to like him over us.” He finally smiled and tried to , but when he caught her looking at the ground, he realized this might not have been the best thing he could have done.

“Ri, it’s not like that, it’s just,” she had to stop, but it was the tears in her eyes that really told him the whole story. He might act like the clown, but he was normally much better at reading people, knowing what they needed to hear, what he needed to do. This time he was wrong. His noona was just too difficult for him to read.

“Noona,” he said softly, putting a hand on hers and giving it a squeeze. “I tease.” It wasn’t until she looked up at him that he smiled, trying to use his perfect goofy smile. “It is okay to like hyung.” At that she just closed her eyes and shook her head. He had a sudden thought. What if that was what the fight was about? Could his hyung have rejected her? That didn’t seem like something she would punch someone about, but he had never actually thought she would be one to use physical violence. And so far tonight he was 0 for 1 when it came to reading his noona so… “Did you tell him?”

She quickly shook her head and he was back to having no idea what the fight had been about. “No, I’m leaving tomorrow,” she said with a sigh. “What good would it do to tell him?” He opened his mouth to speak, wanting to tell her just what he had seen, the fact that he knew it would make a difference, but she looked at him with a sad smile and he stopped. “Plus after what happened tonight?” She shook her head and the smile faded. He wanted to shout at her, ask what had happened, what had his hyung done to cause her to become so upset, but he didn’t. If she wanted to talk about it, she would. Otherwise… “It’s best to just leave it a secret, okay?”

The smile she gave him made him want to pull his hair out. No wonder his hyung and noona were so attracted to eachother. They were so damn alike, it was scary. Both had tempers, both cared deeply about other people, and both seemed content to keep their troubles to themselves instead of talking to others. He let go of her hand and threw himself backwards with a laugh. He saw Nikky jump a little in the chair next to him and laughed a little more. “Aish,” he face palmed and was happy to see that his noona no longer looked like she was going to cry. Now she just looked confused. Well, confusion was better than sadness, so at least it was a step in the right direction! “Noona and hyung are very-“ he paused as he tried to think. “What is the word? Strong?”

He saw Nikky’s brow furrow as she thought for a moment before her entire face brightened. “Stubborn?”

“Yes!” Seungri sat up straight and pointed at her. “You and he both very stubborn! Give me headache.” He held his head with one hand and was rewarded with a laugh from the girl next to him. He looked at her and couldn’t help but smile as she smiled back. His mind was racing as he continued to look at her. Surely there was some way he could convince her to stay. That was the last thing he needed to do to be happy, to make sure sure was happy, and to ensure that his hyungs were happy as well. Maybe if he could just talk to Top-hyung he could make him realize what he was doing, how he was hurting Nikky. He was so deep in thought that he didn’t realize he was still staring at her until her face started to fall and she laughed nervously.

“What, do I have something in my teeth?” She covered , but he could still see the smile in her eyes.

He smirked before replying. “No, but noona is pretty when she laugh and smile.” She reached over to smack his arm playfully, but he stood up and laughed as he easily dodged it. Now that she was in a good mood, he didn’t want to ruin it by bringing up her leaving. His thoughts raced until he decided to try something a little different. He had tomorrow, plus with the surprise… all hope was not lost.

Seungri stretched a little before reaching his hand out to her. “Time to sleep noona,” he said with a smile as she took his hand and he pulled her up. He put an arm around her shoulders and winked, causing her to laugh and duck out of his embrace before walking next to him down the hallway.

The walk back to their rooms was short, but the comfortable silence they walked in gave him just enough time to think. Noona liked hyung, and hyung liked noona, but neither hyung nor noona had told the other that they liked them. Also, noona had a fight with hyung and was leaving now and thought it was best since she thought hyung didn’t like her. Hyung was upset with noona but no one had any idea why and he had been avoiding noona since last night when noona had almost been attacked and even though he and the other hyungs knew about it, Top-hyung wasn’t allowed to know. Aish. He managed not to rub his head, but this whole thing was giving him a very real and very large headache. What he needed to do was lock the two of them in a room together and let them argue it all out, but it looked like he would have to come up with another plan thanks to his stubborn hyung. Speaking of Top-hyung…

They had just about reached the elevators when the ding of the door was heard and who else stepped out but Top himself. “Hyung,” Seungri said as he gave a small wave. The older man looked towards him but his gaze immediately moved to the girl by Ri’s side. The two stared at each other, one expressionless the other trying to remain the same but failing. Seungri wanted to step between the two to break up the tension and protect Nikky, but there was a small hope that maybe all they needed was to see each other to get over whatever it was that was causing all of this tension. 

Of course, he was wrong. After a few moments Nikky bowed her head and kept her eyes on the ground as she whispered “Sorry.” She side stepped around Top-hyung and headed towards her door without a single goodnight or backwards glance. Seungri took a step after her, but stopped when he realized she probably didn’t want any company at the moment. He turned towards the man next to him, intent on chastising or yelling or just trying to shake him until he came to his senses, but what he saw made him draw up short. The expression on the older man’s face… Seungri couldn’t describe it. It was the most gut wrenching mixture of pain, hurt, and sadness that he had ever seen, and not one that he ever thought he would see on the other man’s face. Of course, just as quickly as it was there, it was gone.

Top-hyung turned and raised an eyebrow at the younger man. “Shouldn’t you be in bed?” he asked in Korean. Seungri opened his mouth to answer but the man didn’t even wait for it. He simply walked to their room and entered, not glancing at the boy he left behind. Still, Seungri knew. He knew what he had seen and he knew what he had heard, and it appeared he was the only one who knew both sides of what was going on. True, he didn’t know the entire story, but he was confident that he knew enough at this time that the rest didn’t matter. It was then that he decided that no matter what it took, he would make sure those two finally faced their feelings, even if it was the last thing he did.

A/N: This chapter was different because, well, Nikky and Ri's personalities are different, so I felt like their thoughts would be different. The chapter probably isn't as different as I think it is, but oh well >.< I hope you guys like it! 

I meant to get a lot of writing done this weekend, but I have been SO sick. I've literally had two bowls of soup since yesterday morning... Oh, and an apple. But yeah. Didn't get ANYTHING done. Sorry! :( What that means is that it'll be a few days before the next chapter is up, especially since my flash drive is still MIA so I'm having to rewrite things. Yuck.
