We had just gotten into the room with the door closed behind us when I heard voices out in the hallway. I thought I recognized them, so I, of course, turned when I heard the door open. My jaw, however, dropped. Actually, I froze exactly where I was as GD, Taeyang, and Top walked in followed by none other than CL, Minzy, Bom, and Dara. The boys just grinned as the girls saw me, stopped and bowed. "Annyeong-haseyo!" They said, in unison. I stared for another second before I shook my head and bowed back.

"Ah, um... Hello!"

When I looked up Minzy was about a foot in front of me. "Hello, Nikky-unnie! I am Minzy!" She smiled and turned to the others, pointing as she went. "She is CL, she is Bom-unnie, and she is Dara-unnie!" I couldn't help but smile as she turned back to me. "Nice to meet you!"

"Oh, well it's nice to meet you too!" I said.

At which point Bom came over and grinned at me. "Minzy is trying to practice her English," she said.

CL cut in then. "Since we hope to have a show here soon, she wants to become more fluent."

Minzy nodded and smiled. "Yes, I want to talk good like my unnies."

"Well, you are doing very well," I said with a smile at the younger girl. "Oh, so is that why you all are in New York?" I asked as the girls and the boys started situating themselves around the room. I was grateful when they left a seat open for me between Top and Daesung.

"We are filming a music video now," Dara spoke up.

"And YG wanted us to have dinner together," CL said. "A 'family' dinner he called it."

"Which is why we couldn't invite you," GD looked at me, "but you had fun with the noonas, right?"

I nodded. "Yeah, I did. We had some bonding time, and I learned a lot." I smirked and raised an eyebrow in his direction. "Especially about you guys." The girls let out an "Ohhhh?" And I opened my mouth, though what I was going to say, even I didn't know. But Daesung, hoping to save himself and his hyungs, quickly covered my mouth.

"Ah, Nikky-noona, umm... It is time to sing, yes?" I just laughed as Seungri and Minzy both stood up and the three started arguing over who would go first.

I sat next to Top and the girls came over and we chatted a little, one by one. Even though Bom and Dara were older than me, they didn't act it. Not that they acted really young, but it was... fun to hang out with them. CL was a bit of a firecracker, and I couldn't help but smile at how she and GD seemed to snip at each other. Leader rivalry it seemed like. Minzy was just absolutely adorable. I wanted to hug her and pinch her cheeks and everything. She and I spoke the longest actually, and I was very impressed with how her English was. I knew that she was the weakest English speaker out of all of 4 members, but she was actually slightly better than Daesung, not that I would ever say that to him. But still, it was cute. I learned that, just like the boys, they liked being able to be normal too, and I was glad I hadn't completely fan girled over them like I was originally going to. If Minzy hadn't come right up to me, I probably would have. Thank goodness for small miracles. As it was, by the time the girls  went up to sing a song, I had exchanged phone numbers with each of them, which was rather exciting if I may say so myself. I had warned them that I might lose the phone after I was done with the job in New York and went home, but they seemed to ignore that comment, and I was perfectly content to go along with it. Maybe I would get my email to the boys and they could get it to the girls? Eh, best not to think of that right then. I still had a few days before it was time to go back to my normal life. And I was just so happy right now, I didn't want to think of anything sad. Why was I happy? Well, first- I was at karaoke with Big Bang. Second- I just met 2NE1. Third- I was just having so much fun. How could I not be? But of course, the boys had to "ruin" that. Ugh.

Just as the girls finished one of their songs, Seungri came up to me and grinned, followed shortly by Taeyang, GD, and Daesung. "Nikky-noona, it is your turn to sing."

"Oh, um, no guys," I said with a laugh. "I don't sing."

"But noonaaaa..." Daesung said, looking at me with the best set of puppy eyes ever.

"Aw, but-"

"Please Nikky?" Taeyang said softly.

"Just one song," GD said, his voice light and his eyes wide. That was right, all of them were ganging up on me, except Top. At least I knew I had one-

"It's just one song," Top said besides me. I looked over to see him smirking at me, and I couldn't help but glare. Before I could do anything, Seungri had grabbed my arm and pulled me up.

"But guys, I really can't sing," I insisted. I turned pleading eyes to the girls who had stood back till then. I breathed a sigh of relief when CL nodded solemnly and opened to speak.

"I understand, Nikky-unni," she said, but then she smirked.

"We will sing with you!" Bom grinned from ear to ear as Minzy skipped over and grabbed my arm from Seungri, who was laughing. Oh man, if they had planned this from the start...

Of course, I really didn't know how to sing, but no one was listening. "Lets sing a Big Bang song," Dara suggested. The two groups had been going back and forth singing each other's songs for the past 30 minutes, and it seemed to be some sort of competition now.

"But I don't know any Korean," I frowned as I spoke up.

"What about that one CD... Number 1? Do you know any songs from there?" CL asked as she flipped through the list of songs.

"Well..." I said, looking at the song list and thinking back to that summer. I had traveled a lot and only had a few CDs, Number 1 being one of them. And I had spent awhile learning... "I know some of the raps from them." I looked up to see all four girls staring at me. "I can't carry much of a tune, but I love music so... the rap parts were easiest for me to learn."

Minzy's face slowly broke out into a smile and she turned to the songs list, finally stopping at... Wait, really? "This!" She said, looking for confirmation from the others. "This is good Nikky?" I stopped and thought a moment before nodding. Yes, I did remember the part from that song, though it wasn't that long. "Good!" She said, before switching to Korean. The others got huge grins on their faces before they left our little huddle and walked over to the boys, taking one thing from each of them. GD and Daesung's beanies, Taeyang's hat, Seungri's scar, and the black rimmed glasses Top had taken back from Seungri. When they came back over, we huddled again, spoke in a few whispers, and then turned our backs to the boys just as the song started.

The song? Was So Beautiful. CL turned first, her hair all on one side coming out from under GD's beanie as she sang his part. Next was Dara, Taeyang's hat tilted gangster style on her head as she sang his part. After that was Minzy, Seungri's scarf fashionably draped around her neck as she acted very haughty and Seungri like. Finally, Bom turned around, her bangs showing under the beanie swept to one side, covering her right eyebrow ala Daesung style. I, however, kept my back turned as I took off my glasses and put on the black rimmed ones. Finally, it was my part. I took a deep breath and turned:

"Hit 'em with a high, hit 'em with a low, hit 'em witha every which way that it may go yo. Baby got the beauty sayin' or to go yo, When she shake her booty get out of the way yo!" I don't know how, but I managed to not only keep going, but keep a straight face and keep in time with the music. The boys were cracking up, and I smirked as I continued. "I'm oh so serio, really though, silly bro, nev'r know, see it in the video." By this time I was staring straight at Top, smirking like an idiot. "T.O.P got crazy dough, blazin flow, phase me no, They be never hearin' what I'm sayin' yo." And with that, CL took over with GD's part, though I did interject Top's parting lines and sang along with the last chorus since the girls were loud enough that I was certain you couldn't hear me. When we finished, the girls and I grinned at each other, took hands, and bowed to the sound of applause from our audience.

I took off the glasses and laughed as I handed them back to Top. The boys were complimenting us on how we had done, but quickly took up the challenge and were fighting over which 2NE1 song to sing. Except Top. I sat next to him after handing him the glasses, and he crossed his arms then looked over at me. I resisted for as long as I could before looking back. "What?"

He continued to just stare and I quickly looked away again. I had managed to avoid staring into his eyes, but if he kept staring at me... Finally I looked up again, only this time with a slight glare. "Yes?"

"That... wasn't bad," he replied with a smirk. I giggled a little and looked away.

"It was fun, but I won't be doing it again." I looked up at the boys who had just started I Am The Best and spent a few moments just watching them before starting up a conversation. "So how has the tour been so far?"

I heard him sigh before he replied. "It is busy. But I am glad we are here."

"Oh, well at least you had a chance to relax today."

"Yes, it is nice."

We sat in silence for a few moments when I remembered something that had me curious from earlier that day. The boys had been talking about what they had enjoyed doing while we were walking, but I hadn't heard Top's reply. "What has been your favorite part so far?"

He thought for a moment before replying with a simple "This." I, of course, was confused, so I turned to look at him and was caught. He was looking straight at me, and once I looked back he smirked. I looked away after a few seconds, but it took effort. I heard him chuckle as he continued with his statement. "Having fun. Hanging out. Seeing them act young and normal. We do not do this often."

I smiled up at him when he referred to them as acting young. "You know, you're not much older than them. In fact, you're younger than me."

"Oh, I know. I like acting young too." He smiled back but at that moment Taeyang came over and sat down on his other side.

"Top, you still need to sing." Top just shook his head and picked up one of the water glasses on the table, so Taeyang looked behind him and Daesung was quickly at his side.

"Hyuuungg. Come sing!" He said, the little whine in his voice showing as he tried to act cute for Top.

But Top just shook his head again. "Not even for you, dongsaeng..."

Daesung looked over at me and changed tactics. "Nikky-noona, don't you think he should sing one song? Just one?" He looked behind him. "Jiyong-hyung... tell him he should!"

I looked over at GD who was looking through the song list. "He's just afraid to sing in front of the girls," he looked up and caught my eye as he said this, giving me a little wink. Ahhh, I see where this was going.

I turned to Top then. "Really? Afraid of singing?" I chuckled. "Poor thing..."

He frowned at me then "I'm not afraid," but GD just shook his head and tsk-ed. Top looked from GD to me and I smirked at him, raising an eyebrow. He finally stood up, a little quickly. "Fine, one song."

GD stood up then and smirked at his hyung. "How 'bout a rematch?"

At this, Top smiled. "De..."

"Fine. You sing...." He turned back to the book and then grinned. "Heartbreaker."

Top went over and flipped through the pages quickly. "Then you sing Because." He held out his hand and the two smiled and shook. I grinned. I actually knew both songs and was able to enjoy both boys singing and rapping.

The battle was intense, and finally we voted. I clapped just as hard for both, but apparently the boys decided GD's version of because Top messed up some of the words in Heartbreaker. I couldn't tell, since I didn't know Korean, but they apparently caught it. GD grinned at his hyung and then at us. "My prize is a kiss on the cheek from the girls." I blushed and shook my head, but CL and Minzy both groaned.

"Oppa," Minzy said, "do we have to?"

But Bom and Dara were already standing up and walking over to the standing GD. They each shook their heads before giving him a peck on his grinning cheek. CL groaned as she got up and dragged Minzy along with her. I stood up and followed, laughing the whole time. CL glared at GD before giving him a quick peck and flopping back down into her seat. Minzy pouted before giving him a peck as well and wiping on the back of her hand as she sat back down. I shook my head and raised an eyebrow at GD who simply turned his cheek towards me and pointed at it. I sighed and gave it a quick peck before sitting down next to a now empty seat. The boys were of course, clapping as GD took a bow, and the girls were pouring over the song list again, with Minzy and CL sending glares GD's way. I looked around as the boys congratulated GD and saw that Top had retreated to the corner seat.

I tilted my head as I looked at him, but he was just staring at the water glass that was in his hand. Since the others seemed occupied, I stood up and walked over before sitting next to him. He continued to stare at the glass, so I smiled at him. "I really did like your singing." He just looked up at the girls who were starting to sing, placed his glass on the table, and folded his arms. I stopped smiling and couldn't keep the concerned look off of my face. "Are you okay?"

He didn't look at me, but replied with a short "I'm fine."

"Are you sure?" I couldn't help but ask. I hated to see people upset, and it was obvious that he was, so I put a hand on his arm to comfort him. "I can-" but I didn't get to finish before he shoved my hand off of his arm and glared at me.

"I'm. Fine." I couldn't keep the shock and hurt off of my face, but I managed to cover it very quickly with my concerned look.

"Alright. Well, if-" He turned to glare at me again and I stopped. I turned from him, took a deep breath and put on a smile before getting up. "Hey guys, anyone want some water?" There were about 3 "Yes"s and two raised hands from singers. "Coming right up!" I said, managing to keep a smile on my face until I had left the room. I sighed and took a deep breath. It shouldn't have hurt, but it did. I mean, I hadn't even known him for a week and I expected that he would be okay with me trying to comfort him? How stupid.

I heard the door open behind me and I quickly hurried to the lady at the counter, putting a smile on my face. "Excuse me, could I get 6 waters?" She looked up from her book, nodded, and headed to the back. I tried not to look, but I could feel someone behind me, not saying anything, and eventually my curiosity got the best of me. I turned to see a concerned Daesung looking at me.

"Nikky-noona, are you okay?"

I smiled at him as I replied. "Of course I am, why do you ask?"

He walked up next to me and I felt my smile falter. "I know happy and pretend happy." He continued to just look at me, that concerned look on his face and eventually I just sighed and looked down. "I saw Top-hyung." I nodded then. So he did actually know what happened at least. "He didn't mean to. Top-hyung... he gets angry. But he isn't mean." I nodded again. I knew that. Hadn't I been like that a few years ago? Getting upset at silly things and taking it out on the people who wanted to help? That had been my signature move for awhile, heh. I let out a sigh. "You are a nice noona," Daesung said, and I looked up to see him smile. "I will sing a song for you. What song?" I couldn't help but smile then.

"That's okay Daesung, you don't have to."

"No no no, I want to cheer you." He stopped and his face scrunched up. "Ah! Up! I want to cheer you up!" He said with a smile. I grinned and laughed. "See? That is a real smile."

I nodded and finally spoke. "Alright then. Any song I want?"

He nodded back quickly. "Yes, any!" At that point the lady returned with our water and I was happy to see that she didn't even give Daesung a second glance before going back to her book. The two of us did exchange somewhat worried glances before we laughed. I reached for the tray, but Daesung beat me to it and headed to the room, managing to open the door for me. "After you, my lady," he said, singing the last word with a wink. I laughed as I walked into the loud singing, my bad mood from earlier forgotten for the moment.

I don't like stories where two people meet and just INSTANTLY are all over eachother. The ones where they are uncertain, almost tiptoeing around eachother, trying to figure out what is going on and then WHAM! So... Let me know what you guys think, okay? If you want it to move faster, I can try and speed it up a bit, but since I already have so much of the story down in my head, it may be difficult >.< BUT JUST FOR YOU ALL I WILL TRY!!
