Almost Heart Attacks (x3!) plus a staring contest?

Big Bang's Newest Noona

I almost had a heart attack that day. A couple in fact, actually. First, I followed Hae Jung-unnie around and she had me run her errands again, which I was okay with. Until I ran into, and I do literally mean ran into since I was hurrying around a corner, Ellen herself. We both apologized, I bowed a few times, damn those Korean boys for rubbing off on me so, and it wasn't until I was about 10 feet past her that it hit me. I had to stop and force myself to breathe again. Of course, I didn't have time to go back and try and, well, I don't know what I wanted to do, but I didn't have time for it, so I just took a deep breath, composed myself, and hurried to fin where one of the managers had run off to since the other managers had texted Hae Jung that he was gone. Turned out he was in the coffee room flirting with some girl. It was sort of cute.

Second heart attack came when the show was about to start and Hae Jung showed me where we could stand. And man, I could see everything. Well, not all of the audience, but I could see the boys, I could see Ellen, I could see the cameras, everything! It was absolutely amazing! And in truth, the boys seemed much more at ease this time around than they had the night before. Though some of their answers were a little hilarious, especially after Ellen asked who the best and worst English speakers were. GD and Taeyang teased each other, with GD saying he was the best and Taeyang saying the same thing. In the end, Ellen had them rap in English, and declared GD the winner, of course. That boy has such a way with words. Then Daesung readily admitted that he was the worst English speaker out of the group. Of course, Ellen then told him how well he was doing and complimented him, causing him to blush and become a little flustered, but she, and the others, dealt with it very well, and it really just made him look so adorable. Seungri was trying to be as supportive of the other member's answers as possible, but he didn't try and talk as much as I had seen him at previous talk shows. I'm guessing it was because he wasn't quite as fluent in English as he was in Japanese, but when he did talk, he sounded really good, if not a little silly sometimes. Top was, as usual, the most quiet of the group. So by the time they took their first break, Ellen had already started asking him after almost every question what he thought, and when he remarked on it, she said it was because she liked hearing his voice, as she was sure the audience did as well, but he was way too quiet. So she was trying to fix this. This, of course, brought a large laugh from everyone, and then they went to commercial.

I grinned up on the stage at the boys while a group of make-up artists, along with Cho Hee, descended on them and Ellen to fix things while they were on break. Hae Jung went to talk with Cho Hee, but I stayed where I was, clutching the clipboard Hae Jung had given me with the schedule. It was almost like a dance, watching how everyone had a task and knew exactly what to do and where to go. I was just staring and grinning at it all like an idiot when I noticed movement, a lot of movement, on the stage. I finally focused and couldn't help but laugh and giggle a tiny bit. Both Daesung and Seungri were sitting in their seats waving their hands like madmen in my direction. When they realized they had caught my eye, they both gave me a thumbs up, which I returned. Yes, they were doing amazingly well, and I had only seen Daesung glance in my direction once or twice during the interview. So, I gave them not only a thumbs up, but a little wiggle dance and a huge grin at the same time. This resulted in them laughing, and the others looking towards me as well. When GD pointed in my direction, I was just finishing my dorky wiggle dance, and started laughing, a few people I did not know, including some of the make-up artists and Ellen, looked as well, so I covered my blushing face, as well as my embarrassment, and turned around. Oh god, those two boys brought out the silly side of me.

I turned back around when I heard footsteps approaching me, and came face to face with Cho Hee and Hae Jung.

"Have fun?" Cho Hee asked me. When I gave her a confused look, she imitated my wiggle dance, and both unnnies laughed.

"Oh," I said with a blush and a laugh as well. "Yes, yes I did," I nodded and smiled as I said it. It was true. I had more fun now that I was around the guys and I actually didn't mind embarrassing myself a tiny bit.

"And we're back!" I heard a voice from stage say. Hae Jung held a finger up to her lips and we all turned towards the stage to watch. This is where the second heart attack occurred. Because the first question out of Ellen's lips was "Now, I see that you have a group of people who travel with you besides the dancers and such, is that right?"

"Ah, yes," GD answered, with a grin. "Everywhere we go we our managers or noonas come with us."

Ellen smiled, but looked a bit confused. "Your... your what? Noona? What is that?"

Taeyang laughed as he answered. "Our noonas are a little like our managers, but they look after us even more. They are like our mothers and big sisters on tour, making sure we eat right, sleep enough, take care of ourselves, and stay on schedule."

"Ye," Seungri spoke up, "but they are strict like mothers. Do not let us stay up late always," he finished with a pout that brought a small laugh from the audience.

"Ah, and they are called noonas... why exactly? It sounds a little weird."

"Well, noona means big sister in Korean," GD answered again, "and since they are older than us, that is what we call them."

"Now, those are them over there, right?" And then, that was when I had my heart attack. Why? Because 1- Ellen pointed towards us and one of the cameras panned in our direction, 2- I was at least 5 inches taller than Hae Jung and 2 inches taller than Cho Hee at the moment, and 3- Daesung, the traitor, spoke up as Ellen asked her next question. "And what are their names?"

"Ye, those are our noonas. Hae Jung-noona," Hae Jung gave a small wave, "has been noona for long time. Cho Hee-noona is make-up and clothes noona," Cho Hee gave a cute little gesture, which the audience loved. "And Kiki-noona is new!" He grinned at me and waved and I could feel the blood rush to my face. I... I was going to kill that boy. I just blushed and clutched my clipboard like it was a life vest and I was being tossed into the Pacific ocean. Okay, a little dramatic, but... that boy! I waved my hand in a small wave.

"Hm, Kiki, that doesn't sound very Korean." Oh god, Ellen was looking at me and smiling. I just blushed even more and looked down at my shoes, wishing I had chosen something cuter to wear or something.

"Kiki-noona is our American-noona," Top spoke up that time. "She helps with our English and is training with the older noonas."

"Ah, well how is she comparing to your normal noonas?" Even from where I was, I could see Ellen's grin. And I was terrified. Would the guys laugh? Would they actually answer? Of course, as soon as I saw Seungri open his mouth, a wave of dread fell over me. That boy... was more embarrassing than Daesung could be by far.

"She is great noona," he said, and I couldn't help but smile and the wave of dread turned to relief.  "She is not old, so she keep up with us, and she very nice." Thank you, Seungri, for making those my only two redeeming qualities. Oy.

"I'm sure with how much you boys do you need noonas with a lot of energy to keep up with you, huh?"

The boys all laughed, and Taeyang started talking about their schedule, at which point the cameras swung away from us. I felt like I was going to fall over, but when I glanced at the two noonas, they just had smiles on their faces and kept glancing at me. "She did good," I heard Cho Hee mutter to Hae Jung. She held her hand out and I saw Hae Jung pass $5 over. Wait, they had a bet? How...

"You knew they were going to ask about us?" I managed to ask in an extremely quiet, but definitely upset voice.

"Ye," Hae Jung muttered. "I thought you would try and talk, Cho Hee did not." I almost face palmed right there, but it was at the point of the show that the boys were going to be performing, so I just gave both unnies a glare and turned away from them. I wasn't upset really, but... A little bit of forewarning would have been nice. I wasn't pouting. I swear I wasn't.

My third heart attack occurred just as they finished filming and the guys came off stage. Hae Jung had me lead them back to the dressing room, though I was certain they could find it on their own. But this was my job. And it wasn't like I was doing anything else. Besides pouting. No wait, I wasn't pouting. Blah.

When we got to the dressing room, I walked in infront of the guys and as soon as the door closed, I heard a "Yee!" from behind me and I was suddenly engulfed in a hug. I let out a small squeak before I felt someone else hugging me as well as laughing. When I was finally released I found myself looking at a very happy Daesung on one side and a happy Seungri on the other.

"What has you two so happy?" I said, smiling at the two grinning boys.

"I did good!" Daesung said as he did a little happy dance.

I nodded. "Yes, you did very well," I replied.

"And we made noona-blush!" Seungri said as he grinned even more.

I turned and glared at him, but didn't reply.

"Ye, Nikky-noona, you seem to be blushing a lot today," GD commented as he and the older two guys started gathering their things.

"She blushes a lot everyday," Top said rather offhandedly. I turned to him and just stared for a second, not certain if he was trying to defend me or teasing me. But he turned to me and smirked, and I knew he was teasing. Of course he wouldn't stick up for me, hadn't the unnies warned me that he had fun by teasing the other members and goofing off? So, what did I do? I stuck my tongue out at him.

"No I don't," I retorted.

"Yes you do," he replied, stopping packing his bag to turn to completely turn to me.

"Do not."

"Do so,"  this time it was accompanied by a raised eyebrow.

"Prove it," I said with a smirk. I was not backing down from this. Actually, he was completely right, I did have a tendency to blush easily, but I knew that if I backed down from this, I would look bad. And it wasn't like he had any evidence that I actually did blush easily. Except for the fact that all of the guys had seen me blush on numerous occasions already.  But still, no evidence.

Unfortunately, I think Top took this as a challenge. He looked over at GD and I saw GD shrug and grin. I, in turn, looked over to see Taeyang shaking his head and smiling. When I turned back, Top was right in front of me, a blank expression on his face. I simply raised my eyebrow, crossed my arms, and smirked up at him. If I knew something was going to happen, I was usually able to keep from blushing. It was only when things surprised me and such that I blushed.

What I was not counting on was the fact that this was Top I was having a staring contest with. First, he was taller than me, so I was automatically looking up, and its difficult to remain imposing looking while staring up at someone. Second, his eyes were, truthfully, very intense. Just looking up into them, even though I was trying to remain smirking, made me think of the few other times I had ended up staring up at him. Like that morning when the boys knocked me into him and he caught me to keep us both from falling. Oh, and thirdly? Top apparently fights dirty. If it had been a simple staring contest, I might have been alright. But no. As I continued to stare at him, he slowly smirked, then raised an eyebrow, mirroring my expression exactly. Only he didn't cross his arms. No, he took another step towards me until there were mere inches between my arms and him and I was actually looking up at an awkward angle. Though I had to admit, from this angle, his eyes looked even better. And you could see just how long his lashes were...

Little did I know that during our staring contest, as Top had raised his eyebrow and begun to smirk, I had stopped smirking and lowered my eyebrow until I was just glaring at him. But after he took a step forward my face registered a bit of shock and then? I was just staring at him. I, however, did not know that this was playing across my face. I was focused on not blushing and my staring contest. Suddenly I felt something brush against my face. My eyes went wide as I finally looked away from Top and realized that he had reached up and brushed a finger along my cheek. And that was when I lost it. I could feel my face grow warm with a blush and I stepped away, looking down as I hid my face with my hands. Instantly I heard Top laugh, followed by GD and Taeyang. I peeked over and saw a dejected looking Seungri pass a few bills over to Daesung. That was the second  time that day someone bet on how I would react! Ugh! The boys saw me looking and Daesung just grinned and shrugged. "Nikky-noona, no one beat Top in staring."

"That's right," I heard Top say proudly before I hid my face in my hands, completely embarrassed. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I again peeked out to see Taeyang standing next to me. "Its okay though, you lasted longer than any other girl," he said with a smile. "And longer than both of the maknaes."

"But he cheated!" Seungri said with a pout. "He try to get close and kiss. Of course we lose." I looked over and Top grinned at me while shrugging.

"He fights dirty," GD spoke up as he walked over to me. He grinned and raised a hand to poke my cheek. "But you are cute when you blush, so its okay." I blushed even more just as Cho Hee and Hae Jung came in. They looked around confused, until GD spoke up. I don't know what exactly he said, because it was in Korean, but it resulted in both unnies looking at me with knowing expressions.

"Its okay, Nikky-ah," Cho Hee said. "He does that to lot of people," she nodded sagely as she patted my arm then glared at Top, who had a huge grin on his face. All I could do was blush even more and make sure I looked everywhere except in his direction.
