「YOUR P.O.V」

Monday.

It's Monday.

I guess you could say I was happy because I get to see Sehun... But I am not in the mood to learn nor am I in the mood to receive all the deadly glares from the girls who have worked so hard to even get the tiniest attention from Sehun. Oh well, he chose me. Not my fault.

I got dressed, I looked as if I was being rushed-- Which I wasn't. I just didn't feel like I needed to dress to impress anyone anymore. I already won the heart of "the king of the jungle" at our school, so what's the point? Hair tied up in a bun, black leggings with a long, coral sheer dress shirt and coral flats to match. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled to myself because I started to think about how things at school WOULD go.

I closed my eyes and started to imagine. The moment I step out of my car and walk into the gates, everyone would kneel down and bow to me. They would also start chanting weird things like "ALL HAIL QUEEN HANEUL!" while Sehun is walking at my side. Yep, that sounds nice...

Suddenly, a pillow is thrown at the back of my head disrupting my moment of thought. I turn around only to find Sunghyun snickering softly and quickly making a run for it.

"YOU LITTLE TWERP!" I shouted from my room, and all I hear is a loud burst of laughter.

I shook my head and put my glasses on before heading out my room. I checked the time, 6:30. 30 minutes until I actually have to leave, so I just left my bag in my room and made my way down the stairs. I looked at my mom who looked more refreshed as ever. She was twirling in the kitchen, humming some tunes, and making breakfast for the three of us.

"What's gotten you so cheerful this morning?" I asked while playing with the food that was already prepared.

"My precious daughter has finally found her prince" she twirled some more and smiled at me. Ah, two days ago was the day Sehun and I became... Boyfriend and girlfriend. I smiled to myself.

"And my son is going to have a girlfriend soon!" she twirled some more as I looked over to Sunghyun who was flushing all different shades of red and pink. I smirked at him and he tried to avoid eye contact with me.

"So who is it?" I asked, trying not to break my smirk.

"None of your bees wax" he retorted, and tried to stuff his breakfast in his mouth to look for a way to not talk.

"You're gonna run out of food eventually" I sang and got out of my chair to get more food. He stuck his tongue out at me and continued to eat his food normally.

I checked the time again, it was 6:45. I finished my last bit of food, washed my dishes, and ran back upstairs to get my bag. As I lifted it up, a note fell out of the front pocket. Weird, I don't remember putting anything into my bag.

It was white with a tint of tan and neatly folded. I opened it carefully and it was a small list of things. The handwriting was tiny and I had to bring the paper closer to my face to see what was actually written.

"STEPS TO WINNING HANEUL'S HEART"

I couldn't help but to laugh at the title. There was no name on the paper so I had no idea who wrote it.

"1. Get her to notice me

2. Become her friend

3. Save her mentally/physically

4. Protect her from all things that may potentially hurt her

5. Hang out with her

6. Treat her out to dinner

7. Do fun stuff with her

8. Treat her like a queen, because that's what she is

9. Confess my love(?) to her

10. Hope for the best"

I was surprised and had an idea of who might have written this. It was between Sehun and Luhan.

"HANEUL!" I heard from downstairs. "LET'S GO!"

I checked the time and it was already 7. Agh, time flies by fast. I stuffed the note back into my bag and ran down the stairs onto my porch. I rummaged through my bag to find my keys and Sunghyun was standing impatiently near the passenger seat.

"Anyday now, halmeoni!" he spat, and I just glared at him walking slowly to my car just to piss him off.

I pulled out my keys and unlocked my car. Sunghyun rushed inside and I took my precious time to see how angry he would get. I started my car and we were off. This was the perfect moment to interrogate my baby brother.

"So Sunghyun..." I began, and he just continued to play with his phone trying to ignore me.

"Why are you being such a brat?! I thought you loved me!" I yelled, and he shrugged his shoulders. I shook my head.

"Anyway... Who's your crush?" I anticipated an answer, but he just continued to play with his phone as if I didn't ask anything. But I knew he was getting red, his facial heat was radiating my car.

"Is it Jieun?" I asked while my eyes were glued to the road. I felt his intense staring and I nearly broke into a smile because I knew I was right.

"I thought you said she was annoying..." I said matter-of-factly, and he shrugged his shoulders.

"Then I got to know her and she's actually really... nice... and cute... and--" he stopped in the middle of his thoughts and started to blush again. I smiled at him.

"Go for it, tiger." and he smiled at me.

We finally reached school and as I parked my car, Jieun came running over to Sunghyun.

"Sunghyun!" she shouted as she gave him a hug. I smiled, was this how I looked when I was with Sehun? Then Jieun looked over at me and smiled.

"It's your pretty sister!" I directed my stare at her and smiled. She was definitely a keeper for Sunghyun. Any girl of his who compliments me is definitely a keeper.

"Aw, thank you Jieun! You're quite pretty yourself!" I returned the compliment and she squealed.

"Sunghyun! She remembered my name!" I couldn't help but to laugh at how perky this girl was.

"Yes, yes she does." Sunghyun smiled at her. He held out his arm for her to cling to.

"See you later, sis" he smiled and started to walk off. I winked at him and Jieun turned around.
