I groaned in my sleep when I felt someone climb on top of me, and I already knew who it was. Only my adorable son did this to me every morning when he was the first to wake up.
"Mama, wake up. Papa, prepare a surprise for you." He kissed my cheeks and then lips. "Good morning Mama." He grinned and kissed my cheek again when I opened my eyes.
"Good morning, Baby. Let Mama sleep more, okay?"
"You cannot, Mama. Papa is waiting for you. He woke early today to prepare a surprise for you. Now, come on."
"Can I wash my face and brush my teeth first?"
"Of course, Mama." He giggled, and I pinched his face before I stood from my bed.
"What kind of surprise did your Papa prepare?" I took a change of clothes from my closet and went to the bathroom.
"It's a secret. Papa said it won't be a surprise anymore if I tell you." He grinned.
"Really?" He shrieked when I poked his side and ran out of the bathroom.
"Mama, faster.
"Coming." He ran to me when I stepped out of the bathroom.
"Carry, Mama."
"Why does my baby want a carry?" I scooped him up and stepped out of the room.
"I'm tired of going up and down the stairs. I've been checking on you for the sixth time now if you have already woken up. My legs hurt."
"Did your Papa ask you to do that?"
"No, I'm excited. That's why I kept checking on you even though Papa said to only wait for you until you wake up."
"I'm sorry, baby. You should wake me up the first time you check on me."
"You are so pretty while sleeping, and I don't want to disturb you." He giggled when I poked his side.
"Are you patronizing Mama?"
"No, I'm telling the truth. You are pretty, Mama."
"Thank you." I planted my lips on his cheek, and he giggled.
"My baby Ryong is handsome too." He smiled, and I ruffled his hair. "Where's your Papa?"
"At the pool. Please put me down, Mama, and you stay here for a while. I tell Papa you're coming so that he can prepare"
"Okay" I rolled my eyes and put him down, and he grinned.
"I'll call you when we are ready."
"Okay, make sure you and your Papa have a beautiful surprise for me."
"I'm sure you'll like it. Stay here. Don't peek. Wait for my call, okay."
"Okay, now go." He giggled, opened the back door only enough for his body to fit, ensuring I couldn't see what was outside, and then closed it behind him. I shook my head, smiling.
"Baby, is your Mama awake already?" I smiled, hearing Jiyong's voice.
"Yes, Papa. She's just standing not far away from the door, waiting for my signal. Are we ready, Papa?" I giggled, hearing some noises like something dropped.
"Just a minute," Jiyong said.
"Mama, just a minute," Ryong called as if I couldn't hear their conversation, and I laughed.
"Papa, are we ready?" Ryong asked after a minute.
"Just give me another minute."
"Mama, just give us another minute," Ryong called out again, and I chuckled.
"Papa, are we ready? Mama is already waiting too long." Ryong whined this time. I chuckled.
"Okay, we are ready," Jiyong said.
"Mama, we are ready. You can come now." I pursed my lips and slowly opened the door, and stepped outside.
I smiled, seeing the table set beside the pool. Jiyong and Ryong stood beside it, wearing waiter clothes with a red bow tie. They look so cute with matching clothes.
"Good morning, future wife." Jiyong greeted me, smiling, and planted a kiss on my cheek.
"Good morning Mama, Flowers for you." My adorable son grinned, handing me a bouquet of red roses.
"Wow, this is beautiful, baby." He grinned and returned beside his father.
"Papa bought it for you."
"Thank you."
"You are welcome, Mama." He grinned.
"Have a seat, future Mrs. Kwon." He pulled a chair for me, and I sat down. I giggled when Ryong placed a napkin on my lap.
"Thank you, boys." The smile is not leaving my lips, enjoying the attention of the two most special people in my life. Jiyong lifted the cover of the food, and I raised my eyebrows to see the fo
