“Soph has a big fridge and I plan to fill it up for aesthetic purposes.” Heesoo commented as Chaeyeon pushed the cart.

“For what?” She blinked at the girl, Wonho approached them and looked around.

“I’m sorry for dragging you with us, oppa. But I have a meeting and Heesoo…might get lost around downtown.” Chaeyeon said as the older male took the cart from her.

“It’s fine, I just finished a meeting anyway.” Wonho shrugged with a grin, Heesoo sped off to the snack aisle.

“She can be quite a handful, please survive.” Chaeyeon mused at him before following her friend, Wonho nodded back and looked at the two. Heesoo had a couple of cookie cartons in her arms.

“Why do you call him oppa? You don’t really like using that word.” Heesoo commented as she leaned down to drop the snacks on the cart.

“Because,” Chaeyeon picked up a bag of Doritos.

“Wonho oppa is special, so please be nice to him.”

Heeso snorted at her friend, then her eyes went to Wonho. The older male flinched slightly, but he blinked back at her.

“She’s not two timing you guys, is she? She’s not usually this nice to other men.”

“Jung Heesoo!” Chaeyeon hissed, and then she broke into a grin. Wonho smiled back and helped the girl reached the bag of onion flavored rings on the top shelf.

“I need milk.” Heesoo announced as Chaeyeon hooked arms with her, the two walked ahead of him. Wonho glanced around, occasionally picking up necessary items and dunking them in the cart. It seems like Heesoo only had food in mind and not important things like paper towels, detergent and cleaning items.

He looked up again, the two were standing by the frozen meat section, Wonho was about to approach them when he notice a group of three young men eyeing them. Heesoo was leaning down to grab some bacon, her cropped shirt had hiked up.

Wonho’s eyes went to the males again, they were nudging each other, as if egging each other to approach them. And then one of them broke free from the group, Wonho walked towards them.

“Heesoo, let me take care of that.” He spoke up, Chaeyeon turned. Wonho noticed the male move back and Heesoo faced him.

“Honey cured or nah?” She asked, Wonho blinked at her before reaching for the bacon behind the girl.

“Anything’s okay, I think.” He said as he placed it on the cart, Heesoo nodded back at him and moved along. Wonho glanced behind him again, and the males were already moving away.

“Hey, I kind of have to go now.” Chaeyeon spoke up, Wonho turned to the girl with wide eyes.

“You’re leaving?”

“Yes, I have a meeting with Minhyuk and Song Kang’s team. I asked him to pick me up. Minhyuk.”

“W—What?” Wonho blinked at her, he glanced at Heesoo again, who coolly gave her friend a wave.

“Have fun. Don’t work too hard.” She said to her with a grin, Wonho swallowed.

“Then, are you leaving me with~”

“Please take care of Heesoo for a bit, oppa. Make sure she doesn’t pick fights with the other adults.”

“Hey!”

Chaeyeon chuckled, she bumped fists with Wonho before jogging away from them. He turned to other girl and chewed on his lower lip, Heesoo was already in the process of getting some eggs. She grabbed a tray of them, and her gaze met his.

Wonho’s fingers tightened around the cart’s handle as she waved him over with a small smile.

“How about we egg Minhyuk’s car?”

“Why?”

“He told Soph about the screwdriver thing.”

Wonho couldn’t help but chuckle and he took the eggs from her.

“Are you sure you’re okay?” Minhyuk asked again as they stepped down from the car, the valet took the keys from him. Chaeyeon grimaced slightly but she nodded as she walked with him.

“It’s that time of the month. And everything hurts, I hate the world. I hate everything.” She murmured as she pressed her palm against her lower abdomen briefly.

“Want to hold my hand?” Minhyuk offered, Chaeyeon nodded and held onto his offered palm.

“I shouldn’t have worn heels. I feel like crap.”

“Well, quit looking like it.” Minhyuk grinned at her, the girl hissed but didn’t argue with him.

“President Oh and director Lee wanted to discuss things with you. We’ve already come up with mood boards for the campaign and we’d like you to see if you have any suggestions.”

Song Kang nodded at the art director, Style Co., or to some, Oh Sehun’s sister’s fashion line is unlike other companies he’s worked with. He didn’t expect the higher ups to be this hands on or considerate.

“Would you like to see them first? The president and director are still on the way.”

“No, it’s fine. We can all look at it together.” Song Kang smiled back, his eyes went to the doors and a couple walked in. He recognized the lady beside the male, they stood up on their seats as the two reached them. The actor noticed how they were holding hands as they walked, he tilted his head.

“Hi, sorry we’re a bit late. I asked Minhyuk to come pick me up.” Chaeyeon said with a smile as neared them, she stretched her hand to him.

Song Kang smiled back and shook her hand.

“Right, I’d like to introduce you to Minhyuk, he’s Style Co.’s other owner. Minhyuk-ah, let’s speak casually.” She said, the other male nodded and smiled.

“Nice to meet you, thank you for working with us.” He said, Song Kang was a little surprised but he nodded back.

“Yes, nice to meet you as well, director.”

They took their seats, Song Kang glanced at the young president as she took the empty chair next to him.

“I don’t know if they’ve mentioned, but there’s been talk about doing a shoot overseas.” Chaeyeon begun as a hostess arrived with some menus.

“Overseas?” Song Kang faced her, the girl nodded back.

“If your schedule permits. We’re thinking about doing this tropical shoot, maybe Hawaii?” She offered, Minhyuk looked at her and nodded.

“And, it’s probably better than just staging a studio.” Her art director chimed in, Song Kang glanced at his manager.

“I mean, of course, it’s up to you.” Chaeyeon continued, Minhyuk nudged her and pointed towards the menu.

“Right, we should order first, sorry.” She mused, Song Kang picked up the menu and he couldn’t help but overhear their conversation beside him.

“Can we share this? I don’t think I can eat a lot.”

“Okay, then how about pasta? Or are you not up for it?”

“Just a salad will be okay.” She whispered back, Minhyuk nodded and called for the waiter.

“You must be very busy, president.” Song Kang begun, she faced him and shook her head.

“Not really, I just had a couple of errands to run before coming here. You don’t have filming today?” She queried as drinks were being served.

“I had a short interview today, but that was just it.” Song Kang replied, Chaeyeon took the photos on the table and pulled it towards them.

“This is what we have in mind, considering your tall stature,” She trailed off as she looked at the photos and pointed towards the sketches.

“We discussed having you wear some long coats for the winter campaign.”

“That’s okay, I like this piece.” He commented as he pointed towards the houndstooth piece.

“That’s one of my favorites as well.” She chuckled, Song Kang couldn’t help but stare at her she studied the other sketches.

“Then, what about this? For fall, my team wants to focus on green and wine hues.” She said, Song Kang could only nod back, not noticing how director Lee was leaning against his chair, observing them.

Minhyuk grew amused and he grinned to himself.

And Oh Chaeyeon collects another one. Poor guy.

“What do you think?” Before Song Kang could realize it, a pair of dark brown eyes were waiting for his reply, he slightly pulled back.

“Y—Yes, it looks good, president.”

“Right, Kang, you said you had something to discuss with the president.” His manager spoke, the girl turned to the older male.

“What is it?”

“Ah, my company is hosting this party, it’s our anniversary. If you have time, it would be nice to see you there, president.”

Chaeyeon paused, but she slowly nodded.

“That sounds alright, I’ll see if I can come.”

Minhyuk suppressed his chuckle and nudged his friend.

“Let’s eat, you’re getting paler by the second.”

“Hey, quit being too obvious, you punk.” Song Kang almost jumped when his manager suddenly came up behind him, he peeled his gaze away from the two Style Co. executives.

“I—I wasn’t.” He blurted out and scratched the back of his neck, the older male chuckled at him.

“I get it. I get why you’re curious, she’s young, so very young. Also, super successful, and she’s not the typical rich kid. Even her friend doesn’t seem to be like that.”

Song Kang shook his head at him, and then he glanced over his shoulder. Chaeyeon was chatting with Minhyuk, the arms still interlocked with each other’s.

“Do you think they’re together?” His manager asked, Song Kang was about to respond but Chaeyeon waved him over.

“We set a meeting at the studio next week, it’s for the fittings. Your manager said that you are free.”

“W—Well, if he says so.” Song Kang stole a glance at the male, he was on the phone.

“Oh, we were just checking with you. You might have other appointments, anyway,” Something behind him caught her eye, Song Kang nodded back at her, surprised by her reply. She wanted to check with him first, and not just trust his manager’s words.

“I have to go. Thanks for driving me here.” She said to her friend before walking away from them, Song Kang watched as the young CEO approach a Vintage looking Mustang and got inside. His brows rose briefly, he excused himself from Minhyuk and walked towards his manager.

Shownu eased into the restaurant’s curb, he could see his cousin and Chaeyeon talking with a tall male. He was about to get down from the car, but Chaeyeon spotted him, her face lit up and she hurriedly walked towards the car. Shownu paused, as she pulled the door open.

“Hi?” Shownu said as she closed the door, the girl exhaled and turned to him. It was then when Shownu noticed how damp her forehead was and she was pale.

“Are you okay?” He halted, the girl nodded and tossed her purse to the backseat.

“I am, I just..I just really want to go home.”

“Are you in pain? You’re sweating.” Shownu tried to reach for her forehead, but the girl pulled back.

“I have a visitor and everything hurts, I feel like crap too.”

“Huh?”

“I’m bleeding. And I’d really love it if you drop me off at home now, that’s why I didn’t drive today.” She frowned at him, Shownu slowly nodded and slowly drove away from the building. Chaeyeon proceeded to lean back on her seat and closed her eyes.

“Should we get some ice cream on the way? Or something salty? ” Shownu softly asked as he brought the back of her palm to his lips.

“I have some ice cream at home, I just need my bed and have these heels off me.” She said with a small smile, Shownu nodded back at her.

“Thanks for coming by to pick me up, I know you have meetings today.” She murmured as familiar streets appeared on the windows, Shownu threw her a smile.

“You gave me an excuse to leave early. Are you sure you don’t need anything?”

“I’m fine. I like this shirt on you.” She said as she reached out to touch the collar of the olive green Zegna shirt he was wearing.

“Was that the actor your company’s working with?” Shownu asked as he stepped on the gas, Chaeyeon nodded and let out a small yawn.

“How did the lunch go?”

And then she halted, she suddenly turned her head to him.

“Oh my god, have you eaten?” She asked him with wide eyes, Shownu let out a laugh.

“I mean, I texted you and you said you were in a meeting. And I asked you to rush and~”

“It’s fine, you have food at your place.”

“Ah, you’re going to empty my fridge again. Alright. Cool.” She mused back, a little relieved.

“Right, I left Wonho oppa with Heesoo, do you think he’s okay?”

Shownu paused briefly, they had reached the Oh property and he glanced at her.

“What’s with that look?” She asked as the Mustang eased in the driveway.

“Nothing, don’t worry about them. Wonho can survive the typhoon.”

“His house has become the other hideout.” Sophia stated as he walked in the living room, Shownu looked up from the couch and lazily raised one hand as she passed by.

“Son Hyunwoo.” She said as she gave him a high five, the male grinned at her.

“Good to see you again, Wonho’s migraine.”

“Yes, correct. Definitely a migraine.” Minhyuk grumbled as he walked behind the girl, Sophia smiled and turned to him.

“Why? What happened?” Chaeyeon appeared by the stairs, carrying a bottle of water with her.

“Guess who just dropped by the office, pretending that she has been out of town for three weeks?” He stated in a wan tone.

“Hi, migraine! I missed you!” Wonho said as he walked in the living room, it was clear that he passed through the backdoor, Sophia beamed at him.

“Oppa!” She chuckled as the male hugged her.

“Soph?” Chaeyeon blinked back at him, Minhyuk exhaled and grumbled to himself as he marched to the kitchen.

“I think that’s his way of saying that he misses you.” Chaeyeon said to the girl before giving her a hug, Shownu turned his head as a distinctive purr echoed from outside.

“You should have texted him, he probably wanted to come by and pick you up from the airport.”

“I wanted to freshen up, it was a long flight.” Sophia mused, Shownu stood up and walked towards the front door.

“Typhoon’s here.” He announced, Sophia laughed at her cousin’s nickname. Wonho glanced at the window, and sure enough, the Tundra was already parked outside.

“She’s decided to stay at my place for the meantime, thanks for looking out for her.” Sophia spoke, Chaeyeon nodded at her friend.

“Well, more like, oppa’s been the one looking out for her. So far,” Chaeyeon mused as the doors opened and Heesoo walked in, clad in a pair of dark denim jeans and an oversized shirt that had tiny holes around the neckline.

“Oh, you’re in town. Can you lend my your credit card?” She said as a form of greeting, Wonho’s lips curled up.

“Welcome to my home.” Shownu mused from behind her, she nodded back at the male. Sophia laughed and nodded.

“Of course, you can. How bad was it, Hee?” She asked, Heesoo carelessly plopped down beside Wonho and sighed.

Shownu caught how the male’s ears reddened, he grew amused and made himself comfortable beside Chaeyeon.

“It was a Dom Perignon. Rose Gold.” She said with a casual shrug, Minhyuk walked to them, and he sat down across Sophia, the girl winked at him and he made a face at her.

“Oh, pricey.” Chaeyeon chuckled, Shownu kissed the side of her head before picking up the TV remote.

“It was..I was just having fun with my friends from work, and then this balding trash bag walks up to us,” She crossed her legs while talking.

“And he starts saying all this nonsense, we weren’t paying attention to him,”

Minhyuk turned his head to the windows, another car had rolled in the property, he met eyes with Chaeyeon and they both did a head count.

“Everyone’s here.” She mouthed at him, Shownu followed her gaze.

“And he starts feeling up our asses, at the same time. And then, I got the bottle,”

The front doors opened, Shownu stood up and then he halted.

“The gate was open, I’m assuming there’s party?” The lady said with a small smile, Wonho froze on his seat. Chaeyeon turned her head, and she paused, the woman looked vaguely familiar to her.

“Oh, come on. You have the worst timing. I was just at the of my story, can you step out and wait by the door as I continue?” Heesoo grumbled, the newcomer’s eyes widened.

“Heesoo,” Sophia winced at her, Heesoo was about to speak when she noticed that Wonho had grown very still beside her.

“Ae—Aerin-ah,” Shownu spoke, the girl broke into a smile.

“Oh, good, it has a name, so, Aerin, can you go back outside while~” Sophia shoved a donut into her cousin's mouth, Minhyuk almost laughed.

“I’m sorry I didn’t get to properly introduce myself to you last time,” Aerin’s gaze went to Chaeyeon.

“I’m Baek Aerin, Shownu oppa’s ex-girlfriend.”
