Sehun warily eyed his sister as she rummaged through his luggage, about an hour ago, he was already packed. But Chaeyeon arrived, unannounced and started berating all the clothes he had chosen for his trip.

“When did you become this type of person, oppa?” She asked in disgust as she tossed the Adidas tracksuit set across the room, she shuddered.

“I wear them to sleep!”

“I think it would be good for you and Chanyeol oppa to stop spending so much time together. Hoodies! Sweats!”

“Why are you here?” Sehun asked, wanting to distract her. Chaeyeon tossed a couple of his Tom Ford shirts beside his Louis Vuitton pajamas.

“I got bored, and had the urge to invade your space.”

“Really? You got bored? Your Son Hyunwoo is in town.” Sehun pointed out, he noticed how his sister halted for a brief moment.

“Chaeyeon-ah?”

“Where are you off to? Is it a work thing?” She turned to face him, brushing off his statement.

“Did you two fight?” Sehun replied, she pressed her lips together.

“I don’t know.”

Sehun grinned at his sibling before leaving the room, Chaeyeon pursed her lips and turned to her purse. Minhyuk had called her a couple of times earlier, and she had not sent him a text yet. Shownu sent her a message too, informing that he was already home and wanting to know if she wanted to eat something before going to bed.

“What’s going on?” Sehun returned with a cup of warm tea.

“It’s probably just work, oppa. I’ve been pretty…short tempered lately.” She fibbed as she took small sip, Sehun smiled to himself, deciding not to force her to talk.

“Well, I’m assuming you walked out on him or something. I’m not going to ask why, but wow.” Sehun said as he plopped down on his bed.

“Wow, what?” She snapped as she began folding his shirts, Sehun grinned at her.

“I don’t hear your phone ringing like crazy. The guy knows when to give you space.”

Chaeyeon’s brows rose and she scrunched her nose.

“Cheers to that, that idiot dated previously will probably email you if you don’t reply to his calls and texts.”

“Can we not?” She groaned, Sehun stood up and picked up her discarded coat.

“You should get going, it’s already late out. And I’m sure he’s worried.”

“Oppa, I~”

“Go, I’ll drop you off. Don’t stress him out.”

“I do not!”

“I think you do.” Sehun mused back as they stepped out of his unit, Chaeyeon rolled her eyes.

“For how long will you be gone?”

“Two weeks, sorry I won’t be able to make it to your launch, but the hyungs will be there.”

“Oppa, please don’t send Exo.” She sighed as they got inside the elevator.

“You know…you are probably the only person who would say that.”

Wonho remained quiet as he drove through the familiar residential area, ever since the restaurant, he didn’t know how to approach the whole Aerin thing.

They did tell her the truth, what happened before and why Aerin’s presence bothered Wonho a lot.

Aerin glanced at the male briefly, she sighed and puffed her cheeks, Wonho blinked and looked at her.

“Are you okay?”

“I am. But, somehow I feel bad for forcing you two big guys to talk. Did…I overstep my boundaries?” She softly asked, Wonho shook his head and faced the road again.

“No, I think…I’ve always wanted Chaeyeon to know, I just..had no idea to bring it up. But, now that you~”

“Oh, no, I wont help in telling her. That’s Son Hyunwoo’s job.” Heesoo spoke, raising her palms, Wonho couldn’t help but smile at her.

“Of course.”

“But seriously, what a .” She stated, he turned to her.

“I mean, you don’t have a right to be offended, she played you too!” She shot back, he grew amused and nodded.

“I’m not. But, I rarely hear you cuss.” Wonho leaned back on the seat, Heesoo shrugged at him.

“Someone’s been calling you. I can hear it vibrate and yet you never pick up.” He said, he noticed a group of youngsters walking around with ice cream.

“You don’t want to know.”

“What if I call and you do that to me?” Wonho said, Heesoo let out a laugh.

“I wouldn’t dare, beefcake. Besides, you know my home number.” She pointed out, Wonho blinked again, the girl was smiling at him.

“R—Right.” He swallowed, and then Heesoo sat up.

“Ice cream!” She reached for his arm, Wonho was about to speak when Heesoo turned to him.

“Can we get dessert? I want ice cream.”

“W—We can.” Wonho murmured as the car slowed down, Heesoo beamed at him and hopped down from the car. He watched as she walked towards the mart, but the girl halted and jogged back to the car again.

Wonho tensed on the driver’s seat.

The door opened, Heesoo was looking at him excitedly.

“What do you like? My treat!” She offered, Wonho noticed how a group of three men were drinking by the entrance, he unbuckled his seatbelt.

“I’ll go with you.” He said, Heesoo waited as he locked the vehicle.

“Right, your migraine called. She’ll be home tomorrow.” She stated as she hooked arms with him, Wonho nodded at her.

“If Chaeyeon is your headache, and Sophia is your migraine…I can’t be worse, right? I mean…I don’t give you any of those.” She said conversationally as they walked in the mart, Wonho grabbed a basket for them.

“Right?” She nudged him, Wonho looked at her.

“You’re….just Heesoo. Don’t worry.” He said before gently removing her arm around his and walking towards the ice cream display, Wonho puffed his cheeks as he reached the freezer.

Heesoo chuckled and hopped towards him, totally unaware that she made the big guy nervous.

“Ah, so she’s back in town now?” Minho stood up from his seat, his secretary nodded and helped him with his coat.

“I was worried when she wouldn’t return my calls. She left town.”

“Yes, sir. She was seen hanging out with her usual crowd just earlier.”

Minho nodded with a smile and made his way out of his office, his secretary trailed after him.

“Have..you spoken to her, sir? Regarding your decision to…go on with the elder’s plans?”

Minho paused before the elevator, his thoughts went back to his last conversation with the Jung heiress. He didn’t know what to make of it, to think of it, it was kind of difficult to get a reaction from her.

His forehead creased.

He needed her. He needed her to be his wife, he needed to be linked with the mighty Jungs.

“Things would be a lot of easier if she’s not the smart type, the woman’s a lawyer.” Minho murmured, the doors pinged opened and the two males stepped into the machine.

“Sir,”

“Don’t worry, I’m sure I’ll be able to get into her head in a few weeks,” Minho shrugged, there was small smirk on his face as he checked the time on his phone.

“What shall I tell the board, sir?”

“Hmmm, actually,”

The secretary took out his phone and started typing.

“How about we leak this whole thing to the media?”

“Yes?”

“I mean, not an official announcement, of course. Just something…” Minho trailed off, the doors opened and the two males left the elevator.

“Just something for them to talk about. I think it would be a good move, for people to talk about us.” He commented as they crossed the lobby.

“But, sir, doing this it might start~”

“Start trouble, I know. And in that way, she’ll be linked to me and my family. Besides,” Minho said with a sure smile as his car arrived by the doors.

“She will become mine.”

Chaeyeon watched as her brother’s Audi sped away from the property, she turned to the house and noticed the two guards greet her with familiarity.

“Good evening, young miss.”
“Hi.” She said back, she made her way towards the front steps and walked into the house, she set her coat down and wandered towards the kitchen, she was about to pour herself a glass of water when she heard water splashing outside.

Chaeyeon walked to the living room and saw Shownu doing laps at the pool, her brows furrowed briefly. She finished her glass, she walked to the fridge and took out some ham slices and bread.

She let the ham thaw and headed upstairs to shower. It took her a few minutes to wash her hair, she heard her phone ping and she sighed. Minhyuk just wouldn’t shut up.

She quickly put on one of Shownu’s shirts and a pair of terry shorts and got her phone.

Stop texting me.

I’m alive and already at your cousin’s place. Good night.

She tossed her phone away and made her way back to the kitchen, Chaeyeon was about to approach the fridge when she saw the owner of the house standing by the oven. His hair was still damp from his swim and he only had a pair of gray sweatpants on.

“Oh, you’re done.” He turned, sensing her presence.

“I took the liberty of making you a sandwich, you like the cheese all melted right?” He asked her, Chaeyeon chewed onher lower lip.

“Yes.” She replied, Shownu puffed his cheeks and turned to her.

“Chaeyeon-ah, it’s not~”

“You seem to never want to talk about her. I didn’t understand why, but…I was just waiting for you to spill, you know.” She said, Shownu nodded, the oven’s timer went off and he took out the sandwich.

“Milk, please.” She spoke, Shownu grabbed a glass and poured some milk for her.

“But, if you don’t want to~”

“Three years ago, I dated her. I met Aerin at this conference appa made me attend. And, one thing led to another, we started officially dating.”

Chaeyeon nodded, Shownu gestured for her to eat. She picked up the sandwich and leaned on the counter.

“I never got the chance to introduce her to everyone. But my parents knew that I was seeing someone.”

Chaeyeon nodded and took the glass, Shownu carefully leaned over to brush the bits of cheese off her lips.

“One time, I had to attend one of Wonho’s club opening. I wanted to invite her, but I was not able to reach her for days. And then,” Shownu pressed his lips together, Chaeyeon finished her sandwich.

“I found her there, at the party. On Wonho’s lap.”

Chaeyeon almost choked on her milk.

“W—What?” She started coughing, Shownu pushed the napkin holder towards her.

“I was surprised to see her there, and then they started…kissing. It took me a couple of days before confronting Wonho about it, he was the one..cleaned things up for us. For us three. That’s why..Aerin keeps on saying that we have unfinished business, I haven’t spoken to her ever since the party. And, I have always thought that I didn’t have to.” Shownu stated, he his lips and looked at her.

“I…I…I have no words. But, wow.” She grimaced as she pushed the milk away from her.

“I’m sorry for not telling you, I…didn’t know how to approach the subject, and Wonho’s going to be affected by it too.And, to me, it..she no longer matters. She doesn’t affect me anymore.”

“I..actually had this whole speech prepared, but wow. What a .”

“Heesoo said the same thing.” Shownu murmured, still a little traumatized with the Jung typhoon.

Chaeyeon couldn’t help but laugh and the look on Shownu’s face softened.

“Well, she’s good with questioning.” Chaeyeon looked at her empty plate, Shownu walked around the counter and faced her.

“Can I?” He said, Chaeyeon blinked at him but she slowly nodded.

“What~” She paused when he slowly wrapped his arms around her and buried his face against the crook of her neck.

“I really wanted to tell you. I wasn’t expecting her to show up like that.” He mumbled as he planted butterfly kisses on her shoulder, he smiled to himself as he recognized the shirt the girl was wearing.

Chaeyeon’s brows rose, and she wrapped her arms around his neck.

“Well, I guess that makes us even. I had an for an ex, and now you,…you dated a snake.” She blurted out, Shownu let out a laugh and he lifted her to the counter.

“You should shower.” She said as she mussed his hair, Shownu smiled as his hands slid down to her waist.

“I was worried you’d…not come home. Here.” He sincerely said, Chaeyeon puffed her cheeks.

“I don’t have one, as of the moment. My brother kicked me out.”

“Don’t say that.” Shownu said before pressing his lips against hers.

“I mean, it’s being renovated and~”

“You have my place. This is your home too.” Shownu muttered before kissing the side of her neck and lifting her off the counter.

“Son Hyunwoo, ew.”

“I had a feeling you would say that. I’ll go wash up. You should eat more.”

“But,” Chaeyeon spoke, Shownu paused and faced her.

“Thank you for telling me this. I could see how much it bothered you, I just didn’t want to pressure you into talking. I guess..that’s my mistake too.”

“You should have pressured me?” Shownu smiled and hung one arm around her shoulder as they went up the stairs.

“No, I should have asked. And, I should have pressured you to put a shirt on, but whatever works for you.” She grumbled, Shownu chuckled and the girl leaned upwards to kiss his cheek.

“But then again, quoting my tipsy self from not long ago, my boyfriend is so hot.”

“I thought you were trying to forget that.” He jokingly said.

“I am, but you constantly remind me of it. So, I give up.” She grumbled back, Shownu chuckled and kissed the side of her head.
