Plot: Anna is a mere friend to Kai, well to be blunt, Kai hates Anna. He finds her naive and annoying. Anna is indeed naive, also innocent, cute, pretty and a cry baby. But, Kai can’t admit that. Kai is a Casanova and sleeps with different women every night, not having a care in the world, only to satisfy his needs. Here's a little secret Anna hasn't told anyone: She likes Kai. One night, she and her friends go partying and she sees Kai their with a girl. Kai and the girl flirt. Kai takes the girl to their dorm. (Kai and Anna live in the same dorm ironically lol. They both have to share a bed together, but Kai sleeps on the floor.) Anna comes to the dorm at midnight and cries herself to sleep when she hears what’s going on inside their bedroom. Next morning, Luhan texted her and told her to meet him and hang out. She agrees. Kai wakes up and tells the to leave and looks around for Anna. He gets worried and texts her, but she doesn’t reply. He waits for her hoping she will come to the dorm safely. Anna arrives late at night and Kai has been worried sick about her the whole day. When Anna enters the dorm, Kai gets angry and upset. He askes her about where she’s been. And, Anna fed up with Kai, leaves to go to their bedroom. He yanks her back and asks where she’s been. Tired from all that’s happened, she admits she went on a date with Luhan. Kai gets angry and they have an argument. Then, Kai finally reaches his boiling point and vents out his feelings with a kiss. After, Kai and Anna do ‘it.’ () Kai realizes his feelings for Anna.

“Hey Anna, that’s the guy you share a bed with, right?”

Anna looked at her friend with eyes that would have killed Sara if they could. Were her friends still not over that joke? Due to a stupid mistake in the school system, she was supposed to share a bed with him, yes, but he slept on the ground and not in the bed, her parents would never allow that. They had rock-paper-scissored over it, Anna won the soft and warm bed, Kai the mattress on the hard and cold floor. Nowadays she asked herself why exactly they didn’t sleep in the same bed. It was not like anything would happen between them, Kai was out most of the nights anyway. He slept around with girls that were way prettier than Anna. Anna didn’t stand a chance.

Kai didn’t like her, ignored her, scolded her, while he was everything to her. 

“Anna, look! It’s him, right?” Sara kept pointing in a certain direction, not aware of the fact that it was extremely rude to point at people like that. She probably had had too much alcohol already, as usual. Anna knew he was here, she had seen him talking to some girl a while ago. She mustered up the courage to look in the direction her friend was pointing at, and she immediately regretted doing so. Sara was not drunk enough to not remember what Kai looked like anymore. Although, Kai is hard to forget since a face so attractive is not easy to delete out of your mind, even alcohol can’t do that. What Kai was doing hurt Anna, he was, Anna wasn’t exaggerating here, shoving his tongue down the throat of the girl that he had just been having a casual conversation with, one of the prettiest girls Anna had ever seen.

How in the world--

Anna was completely done with this party now, drunk friends, her crush wooing other girls. She didn’t like parties anyway, she liked to be at home. Especially now, she wanted to leave and cry all curled up in bed.

She tapped Sara on her shoulder as she had already shifted her attention to some random guy. “Hey, is it okay if I go?” Sara barely listened and waved to Anna as if she was trying to wave her away while she was hitting on the boy. 

It was enough for Anna to take it as a sign to leave. 

She glanced at Kai one more time and then ran out. She walked quickly, trying to look down, to not get caught running away. Running away from her insecurities once again. Anna was so busy trying to escape the building that she didn’t notice the guy in front of her, her body walked into another one and she got showered in a drink that smelled like beer. She looked up and saw that Luhan was the man she had ran into. Now that she was smelling like beer, she had more reasons to dislike this place. Tears started forming in her eyes, Luhan wanted to say something but was inaudible thanks to the loud music. Anna passed him to not look back and leave him flustered.

Once Anna arrived at the dorm it was midnight, she had rewarded herself with a hot chocolate at her favourite kiosk and cried at a bench in the park before going home. She wanted to watch the stars, secretly hoping for one to fall. She put the key inside the keyhole and unlocked the door, not bothering to turn on the lights. She changed her dress for pyjama’s and went to bed like that, she’d brush her teeth and take off her makeup some other time. She rolled on her side, wondering why Kai wasn’t home yet and that’s when she heard it.

“Yes, yes, that’s right sweetie, that’s where I like it.” A husky female voice from behind the door of her bedroom, a playful “sssh, don’t talk” followed. She listened more closely and the gasps for breath, the moans of pleasure were suddenly very loud. They hurt Anna’s ears, she knew what was going on. Kai had taken the home, instead of going to her house. How dare he. They were having on their couch. In their dorm. Anna felt sad, angry and insecure at the same time.

Although it was hard, she managed to fall asleep once the couple had quieted down. Her pillow was wet with tears and hadn’t dried when she woke up the next morning.

He woke up, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. Why was he on the couch? He wanted to stand up but fell back, his head was pounding. 

He had clearly had enough alcohol last night, maybe a bit too much. Probably way too much. He heard a soft breathing next to him and looked to his right. A girl with a thick layer of makeup was lying next to him, hidden under a blanket. Where were her clothes? 

He suddenly understood and sat up, “.” Then again, louder, “, .”
