In the middle of a meadow, Daehyun first held Seulyoung’s hand, when she’d reached out for the peach tree leaves.

“And I’ll never let go,” he whispered in her ear, making her blush as tenderly pink as the peaches. “I promise.” Shivers went up Seoulyoung’s spine and she looked away, but not before Daehyun had planted a kiss on her cheeks.

The peaches had never tasted better.

At the florist’s, Seulyoung first told Daehyun the three words he had been dying to hear.

“I love you,” she murmured, covering half her face by the bouquet of roses she was holding in her hands. Daehyun’s eyes shimmered, and they reflected Seulyoung’s rosy lips. “You’re so cute!” she exclaimed. As her eyes glistened with happiness, it was Daehyun’s turn to blush.

The roses were extra fragrant that day.

On the front porch of Seulyoung’s house, they had their first kiss.

“Your lips taste like strawberry,” Daehyun said.

“It’s my lip gloss, silly.”

“Yuck!”

Seulyoung’s laughter rang out as she cupped Daehyun’s face and pulled him closer. Daehyun’s hand grasped her sides and their lips met again, as the stars blushed
