"Uncle Heechul!"

Heechul turned around and noticed a familiar kid—his neighbors'. After he'd parked his car in the apartment parking area, he intended to grab something to eat in the cafe in front of the building. He was still in the parking lot when Hyunsoo, the kid, called him. Heechul looked at the little boy suspiciously although he still strode forward to him.

"Why are you here?" Heechul asked as he noticed that it was almost 6 PM and the kid was by himself. However, Hyunsoo just grinned widely and then handed a cup of coffee and a small bag of pastry. An immediate frown put on Heechul's face was evidence that his suspicion wasn't baseless. And if it was a hundred percent correct, he also knew what it meant; who it was.

"What are these?" he started. Silly question, he knew.

"A kind uncle asked me to give these to you. He also gave me donuts earlier. He said he liked you so mu-"

"Where's he?"

The kid shook his head vigorously. Heechul rolled his eyes and crouched down. He held the little boy's shoulder firmly, looking straight to his eyes.

"Never. I repeat, never accept something carelessly from a stranger. You don't know what kind of man he is, do you?"

The kid could only hang his head low as he was listening to Heechul's scolding. Seeing that Hyunsoo had understood, Heechul ruffled the kid's hair and stood up.

"Go back to your house, your parents must be worried. What are you even doing here at this hour?"

Hyunsoo bowed timidly and then left. Heechul's gaze followed the little boy until he safely entered the building and just then he looked at the loads in his hands. The cup, somehow, still felt hot and Heechul suddenly deducted something. Rolling his eyes, Heechul eventually called the contact after balancing his loads with only a hand. The connecting sound felt like forever; it was very unlikely for Jungsoo to answer his call this long.

"Answer me, dammit."

When Heechul was about to end the call, the other line answered.

"H-hello?"

"I know you're here. Come out."

Scanning his surroundings, finally, he spotted the person he was talking over the phone to. Jungsoo appeared timidly behind one of the pillars of the building, wearing an awkward smile. The CEO eventually walked towards him and suddenly indescribable feeling struck him again. Nonetheless, Heechul had to keep his feelings in check as he wanted to finally let out what had been bothering him these days.

"What's your intention?" Heechul immediately said, giving no chance for the latter to talk first. Jungsoo was taken aback by the sudden question although he quickly gained his composure again. His nervousness had long gone, replaced by his blooming feeling. Looking Heechul from this close distance after restraining himself for meeting the designer all these days—in order to make Heechul comfortable and less hurt— made him gone weak. Heechul took his breath away, one more time.

"You're so beautiful today," Jungsoo whispered, sincerely. He wasn't trying to get a point nor was he being flirty; he simply couldn't help voicing his inner thought. The way Heechul's cheeks turned redder after his words only captivated him even more. Heechul, on the other hand, was caught off guards and he somehow couldn't contain his reaction. He was very aware of his blushing.

Noticing that people, some of them were his neighbors from the same floor, threw a second look towards them, he quickly proposed something he, himself, wasn't sure would bring more good or otherwise.

"Let's talk in my apartment."

He quickly pulled Jungsoo with him but surprising to him, the older resisted. He knitted his eyebrows, feeling nervous about Jungsoo's act.

"Chul, I'm afraid."

Heechul frowned.

"I'm afraid I can't control myself."

'Oh.'

But the warning was taken lightly as Heechul, once again, held the CEO's hand and led him to the elevator. Deep inside, he was also as afraid as Jungsoo, but he assured himself that he would ask him to leave right after he had done telling him his concern.

"I only have these."

Putting down a can of beer and the pastry Jungsoo bought for him, Heechul glanced to the man who was now busy observing his apartment. It surely bothered him.

"Or maybe you prefer a cat food?"

"Your flat is very nice and cozy," Jungsoo commented and flashed his dimple, ignoring the snarky
