Hyukjae drove off to the address sent by Donghae with a clouded mind. He knew his brother had a business with Heechul but he didn't expect it was that kind of business. Almost three decades being Jungsoo's brother, he'd actually never really seen the older was engaged in a romantic relationship, be it woman or man. He thought his brother had given up on his love life and finally followed their mom's matchmaking plan. However, what he sensed from his conditions, adding his sudden favor to Donghae, it was very safe for him to assume that Jungsoo and Heechul indeed had something more than he imagined. More complicated to be exact.

Arriving at the address, he messaged Donghae to inform him. He eyed a paper bag beside him and sighed loudly. Grabbing the bag with him, he called Donghae and asked about Heechul's apartment number.

The door was opened carefully after the third knock, revealing Donghae's worried look. "Hae, wh-"

Hyukjae was stunned when the body in front of him abruptly crushed him in a hug. The worries from the younger Lee was slowly transferred to him. He hugged back and rubbed the back of the sobbing man softly, "What's wrong, Hae? Don't cry." 

The latter only tightened his hold and buried his face on Hyukjae's shoulder. Hyukjae only smiled and waited for the assistant to calm down.

"Hyuk, what's wrong hk- with Heechul-hyung?" he managed to say between his sobs and hiccups.

"I'm not sure, Hae. But, it has something to do with my brother because..."

Donghae swiftly pulled away and looked intently at the former. "Because?"

"Hyung came back to the office in a heartbreaking state. I assume he has been crying a lot, which is very unlikely for him to do that."

Then, Donghae glanced at the bag in Hyukjae's hand. "What's that?"

Inhaling deeply, he dropped his head and whispered. "Hyung asked me to give this to Heechul-hyung. It's porridge, he seemed madly worried about your boss' conditions."

Hyukjae carefully put down the paper bag on the coffee table in Heechul's living room and looked at what he assumed as the owner's room. He wanted to help but what could he do? He knew nothing and it would probably take a long time for his brother to open up.

"Get well soon, Heechul-hyung. My brother is so worried."

They left Heechul's apartment and Hyukjae drove Donghae back to the boutique.

Kangin looked intently at the message and the new number. He knitted his eyebrows as he was still grasping the situation. "Hyung needs me? Why?"

Kangin's eyes shot open and he inhaled sharply. 'Teuk? Jungsoo? Heechul's crush? What the heck happened?'

The reply he expected to get from the CEO never came. He quickly grabbed his car keys and dashed to his cousin's apartment.
