Emotional Chat
My Oasis (My Resting Place)
“Hey JOON, why don’t I feel at ease?” Sa Rang wrote after her shower. She sat down with a bag of chip and a small drink next to her. She looked down and sighed placing her head on the edge of the desk.
“Why?” Sa Rang’s computer beeped. She looked up with a gasp. “Oh, you’re on.” She said then wrote back.
“Earlier, I was walking home with your friend Jun Hyung, and Hyun Bin caught us, and now he’s telling me to stop hanging out with Jun Hyung. What should I do?” Sa Rang sent it then opened up her bag of chip and ate it. She drank the beverage next to her and looked at her message when it beeped.
“Do as what Hyun Bin says.”
“But I don’t want to not talk to Jun Hyung anymore. I’m not that mean.”
“Well, didn’t you say in one of your message to me last time that you chose Hyun Bin over Jun Hyung. So, since you said that, I advise you to stick to that.” Sa Rang read it and froze for a while disappointed. “Hey, really...?” she said sadly.
“Are you sure?” Sa Rang wrote back.
“Then what do you really want to do?”Sa Rang looked at what he wrote and thought to herself. Jun Hyung had his elbows on his desk and his hands up covering his face. He looked up and read the message Sa Rang sent.
“I want to break up with Hyun Bin. I feel that if I keep this up any longer, I’m just going to hurt every one: Hyun Bin, Jun Hyung, and myself. And I don’t want to do that. I want to break up with him and tell him I like Jun Hyung. Yong Jun Hyung...” Jun Hyung froze and looked at the screen. Sa Rang sighed and covered her face. “Hey, Park Sa Rang. What are you doing?” she said.
Jun Hyung wrote something down and sent it then left the house. Sa Rang looked at the message JOON just sent and left leaving her phone on the desk. The message read: “Come meet me outside at the park near your house.”
Sa Rang ran to the park panting, looking around to see if JOON was there already or not. She went up to the light pole and stood under it with her arms crossed out in front of her from the coldness in her short sleeve shirt. She shuddered from the cold. “Hey, where are you? You told me to come out but you’re no where to be found.” She said.
