7 Bangtan Princes

Stop ringing... Please... I rolled over onto my other side and drifted off again. That is until the phone started ringing once more. Come on... I sat up groggily and answered it with a hoarse voice.

"Hello?"

"Park Hana, I'm sorry I called so much." It was Seokjin.

"Ah, I was actually going to call you today. What is it?"

"Were you?" He chuckled a bit. "Yoongi gave me a call last night and told me to call you. He expressed how much you love food and told me to offer you a date."

"Min Yoongi did?" I yawned a bit. That's cute of Yoongi... "So, you want to go on a date?"

"Only if it involves food somewhere in the day."

"I believe in those words. Let's do it. Wait, quick, what time is it?"

"An hour and a half passed noon."

"Can't you just say 12:30?" I laughed a bit. "I just woke up so how about we have a dinner date?"

"Fine with me. Time and place?"

"Hm... 5pm and we can go to the Korean barbecue place in Seoul down the street from the bowling alley. I'm drawing a blank on the title." I yawned again. "Sounds good?"

"Perfect. See you then!"

"Sweet." I hung up and fell back into bed with a huff. Why am I so tired? I didn't even do anything exhausting yesterday.

I ended up dozing off again and waking up around 2. Okay... Let's actually get up and do some things.

I dragged myself out of the bed and into the shower, spending a good half hour or so in the shower before I got out and dressed myself decently. It's not formal so a sweater and jeans are perfectly acceptable.

I finished off getting ready by blow drying my hair and adding a bit of eyeliner. I wasn't one to wear much makeup for casual dates like this one. Especially if we were planning on eating a lot.

It's only a little passed 3, I still have a few hours. Should I talk to Hobi? It's been a while since I have. Well, not really a while but it seems that way.

I grabbed my phone and sat myself down on the couch, ready to start texting Hoseok when Namjoon started calling. Guess not.

"Hello? Kim Namjoon?" I turned and rested my legs on the span of the couch.

"Park Hana. I wanted to ask another favor."

"Another?" I hung my head back and opened my mouth like I would grumble about it but I decided not to and picked my head up again. "I haven't even completed the first one... And I don't think I ever will."

"Can you invite Taehyung out tonight?"

"Why me? He won't go if I say something. He's already warned me before hand not to call him out because he'll only come if he calls me out."

"Try for me. This goes along with the first favor."

"Why?"

"He has plans to meet with his old lover tomorrow."

"What? Why would he do that?"

"He's going to bring you to her the following day."

"Already?" My eyes widened a bit. "But that can't happen yet..."

"I know. Either today or tomorrow before he goes, I need you to get him to go out with you tomorrow and have him forget about the meeting. I want to know her intentions, truly."

"These favors are getting harder and harder..." I sighed. "I have a dinner date with Seokjin in a few hours. What are your tasks, exactly? These sound like task material."

"If I could've made my tasks towards helping Taehyung, I would've. But I couldn't." He sighed as well. "My tasks are simple. Don't worry about them, yet."

"Okay, okay. What will Taehyung come to? I can bribe him."

"He's not a dog." Namjoon chuckled.

"Well, how do I get him to listen to me?"

"You'll think of a way. That's all I wanted to tell you, I'll be going now."

I hung up first and stared at the ceiling a while. Tasks... Favors... I'm getting a headache...

Oh! Should I use one of Hobi's favors? He said he'd return a favor for every task or favor I do for him... No. I shouldn't use a favor yet.

I pulled up Taehyung's contact and bit my lip. Should I ask now? I can have him meet up with me tomorrow afternoon and stall him the rest of the day... I could make him drink, he'd forget completely and with any luck, even pass out. No, I can't. I'm not that mean. Taehyung is mean because he has a reason.

I pressed call before I could chicken out and held it to my ear. It rang for a while but he eventually picked up, already having an attitude with me. "What is i t?"

"Let's go out tomorrow." I tried to sound a bit happy with the situation. "I need help doing somethings an-"

He cut me off. "You're the one that is supposed to be helping me, not the other way around. Why not ask Hobi? You're close with him. Or Jungkook."

"Because I wanted to ask you." I snapped, unable to control the irritation that welled up within me just from the few words he's spoken. "Please?"

"I told you that I wouldn't come if you called me out."

"Just this one. I won't call you out again, just this once."

"I don't want to."

"Just come out. Meet me..." Oh shoot... I didn't think of where to take him or why... "Meet me at the... Park. Meet me at the park at noon. We'll go from there when we meet."

"Why are you doing this to me?" He complained. "I'm not going." He hung up.

Irritation boiled within me, feeling as if my head was going to explode. Why? Why does he have to be so rude? I know he doesn't like me nor the situation nor is his life great right now but does he have to take it out on me EVERY time we talk? I'll take it sometimes but every time is a bit too much.

--

"Hello~!" I smiled widely as I joined the booth Seokjin sat at. For once I was actually a bit late. "I ran into an issue on the way here."

"What kind?" He smiled as well. God he's handsome.

"I-I missed the bus." My heart fluttered a bit at his smile, causing me to stutter a little. "So I had to catch the next one."

"Ah." He chuckled. "I got you water, I didn't know if you wanted anything else."

"Water is fine with me." I nodded. "Let's get some meat and start grilling, hm?"

He nodded as well, clearly happy. "You like food a lot too, huh?"

"I live to eat." I exclaimed.

"Same, same." He chuckled again. "Should we go with beef then?"

"Sure, fine with me." I agreed easily, a wider smile arching a crossed his face. Can he smile even wider? Reminds me of Hobi.

The waiter came by and took the order, bringing back the uncooked meat quicker than expected. We sent him away and started cooking immediately.

"I love this smell..." Seokjin watched the meat like it would jump right off the small grill.

"And the sound.. You gotta note the sound." I ggigled again. "Can I drop honorifics with you? I know that's quick but I feel like we get along real well. I haven't even dropped them with Min Yoongi yet."

"Of course." He flipped over a few pieces of meat. "Call me Jin, as well. I go by Jin more than Seokjin now a days anyways."

"Cool. I don't like using honorifics with people I get along with so easily." I slipped into informal speech very easily and comfortably.

"Same..." He called the waiter back over and ordered the side dishes now that the meat was grilling quickly.

I started cutting up some more pieces and left them on the empty plate to be cooked when we finished the first few.

The side dishes arrived right when the meat was cooked and divided onto each others' plates. I put on the pieces I had cut up and we both dug in.

"Put kimchi on the meat and try them both together. It's even better."

I did as I was told and agreed immediately. "Wow! This is actually pretty good."

"Did you think I was a liar?" He seemed pretty proud of himself.

"And you cook meat really well." I ignored the last comment he made. He's cocky but it's a good change of pace. "We're going to get along real well."

"Can I tell you a secret? You can't let any of the other guys know." He mumbled around his food.

"Why not? Do you like me already?" I joked.

He laughed and shoved another piece in his mouth. He spoke around the food once more, "Namjoon is working with a lawyer to change the rules of the contract."

"Huh? Why?"

"He thinks 6 months is too short. Especially for someone like Yoongi." He leaned in a bit. "You know why Yoongi wanted to be apart of this, right?"

"Yeah, I was told." I thought a moment. "I don't really want to extend the time but when you mention Yoongi... It makes sense. He just wants someone to vent to so I can understand."

"You're smart." He leaned away again with another handsome smile. "If you don't want to extend the time, then don't. You didn't want to be in this anyways, am I right?"

"True. I still don't want to be in this." I admitted. "But I'm making friends with you guys a lot easier than I thought so I can see myself not minding an extend to help Min Yoongi out."

"And a nice person." He ate another piece.

I followed his lead and started eating as well. For such a slender guy, he eats a lot. He does love food, I can see that. "So... Why can't I tell anyone else?" I spoke after we had eaten a little bit.

"Hm... Namjoon doesn't want you to back out." He answered carefully, leaning back in his chair again. "He's afraid if he tells you now, that you'll leave before you got to know us a bit more to be willing to help. Plus the other guys don't know about this yet either."

"Why not them?"

"Hobi and Jungkook would disagree because it'd put you in an uncomfortable situation for even longer. Taehyung would also strongly disagree because he's not completely mentally there nowadays." He nodded his head a little. "Jimin and I would strongly disagree because we don't actually have any 'real' tasks that need you to be done so it would just trouble us further. Jimin told me you knew about this selfish game we agreed to."

"Right, you were the other one with made up tasks." I smiled again. "I don't care. I found myself questioning why all 7 of you would need me and me only when I first new of this anyways. I can understand Hobi's... He just wants to make his family happy. And Jungkook as well since his mother is ill... I understand Min Yoongi's. Kim Taehyung just wants to make his ex jealous... I don't know about Namjoon. But I can understand all of the needs for someone in my position."

Jin sighed and hung his head for a moment before raising it confidently again. "I don't usually participate in such games, I don't think any of us really do on a daily basis. It was a change in pace for us and since 5 of our friends were going to need you and share you to get things done like that, I guess Jimin and I just wanted to be included." He froze and then stared at me. "Wait, did you just call Hoseok, Hobi?"

"I did."

"You do like to drop honorifics fast... But not only to a first name but to a nickname..."

"Well, I'm calling you Jin already."

"It's different." He laughed, realizing he was in the same situation.

"I bet." I glanced around the place a bit. "Do you come here often? It's actually my first time being here because it's so expensive."

"I do come here often. Did you suggest this place because you wanted to go since you've never been here?"

"That and I knew they give you a lot of food and since we're both food lovers... It makes things easier."

"Again, smart. Namjoon must have picked you because you're smart."

"I thought it was supposed to be Hyejin and then she brought you guys to me."

"Ah whatever." He chuckled nervously again and shoved a few pieces in his mouth, obviously enjoying it to bits. His love for food is adorable. He also seems to be responsible... Kind of like a parent-like figure.

We finished up all the food, Jin paying before I could protest. But that was probably for the better. I didn't have that much money left.

What am I going to do with Kim Taehyung if he shows up tomorrow? I work the next 4 nights in a row... I figure that out tomorrow.

We both stood up and smiled at each other. "I say this date was fairly successful." I spoke first.

"Very." He agreed, the two of us leaving the small restaurant. "I'll drive you home."

"No, actually, that's okay." I held up my hands in protest. "I have to stop by somewhere first."

"Ah, okay." He chuckled, holding out his hand. "Until we meet again, then?"

I took his hand with a slight chuckle as well. "Hopefully very soon."

He released my hand and waved, leaving when I waved in return. I waited until he had gotten in his car and drove off before I pulled out my phone.

I need to visit Hyejin.

To: Hyejin

I'm heading your way, you better be home.

"She better." I sighed to my self. I just want to hang out with her... It's been too long without my bestfriend.

The least I can do is spend the night with her tonight before things get chaotic again.

This is a shorter chapter so I apologize if you expected it to be longer! I hope you are enjoying my story and look forward to more! I don't know about you but I'm ready to start kicking off some drama.

Chapter 50: I like Yoongi's part in this. And this final chapter really struck me.
When I was around 11years old, I became friends with someone who was bullied for her weight. At that age, I didn't realize how badly my words could impact someone, and I mistakenly told her that I needed to study instead of talking to her. She got depressed further, and left school soon afterwards, and I wasn't able to get in touch with her until we were around 20... A lot of regret, but I can't turn back time... That was a lesson learned the hard way.
