Taemin’s P.O.V:

We sat next to each other as Aerri played the song. The intro began and Aerri began singing. Her voice is so sweet. She sings well. Her voice is smooth and has a calming effect. Unknowingly, I found myself smiling. I looked at her, as she smiled with her eyes closed. Hehe! This is my first time seeing her like this! She does love music… Like this, she looks so peaceful, so happy… so beautiful…

I kept looking at her face, before closing my eyes again. We listened to the song in peace.

The song finished and I opened my eyes. I found Aerri still smiling. I kept looking at her. Slowly, her eyes opened. She smiled. “How was it?”, she asked, anticipating the answer. “Beautiful.”, I replied, smiling at her. She mouthed a ‘thanks’ and smiled. I smiled back.

“Did you know which part was sung by me?”, she asked, fidgeting with her fingers. “I only recognized the parts sung by you.”, I replied, honestly. “Because… your voice is the best… The most calming… and the sweetest.”, I said. She blushed a little at my compliment, and smiled to herself.

We sat in silence as random songs began playing.

I looked at Aerri’s peaceful face. She was still smiling. I hope you always keep smiling like this…

I looked across the room and found Elisa-ssi and Jonghyun hyung talking to each other. Man, they’re flirting so openly! But they kind of suit each other. I looked at Elisa-ssi. Now that I look at her carefully, she very slightly resembles Aerri. They don’t look too similar but, you can tell by looking at them they are related somehow.

As I looked at Elisa-ssi, and suddenly the conversation from earlier popped into my mind.

There are so many questions circling my mind.

That day, I met Elisa. But Aerri didn’t tell me they were sisters. Why didn’t she tell me? Why did she have to hide it? Why didn’t she tell me right then? Why hide it from me? When Elisa was introducing herself, Aerri cut her off abruptly. Even in the car, she just said that she knew Elisa very well and smiled to herself.

Now, it all makes sense; why Elisa knew about Aerri’s mom. Of course she’d know! They’re sisters after all!

But what did Elisa mean by ‘hiding her lineage’? What ‘lineage’ is she talking about? Why is Aerri hiding so many things?

Come to think of it, Elisa said that ‘Aerri’ is an alias. Why is she using an alias? If ‘Aerri’ is just an alias, then what’s her real name? Why isn’t she using her real name? Why hasn’t she used her real name even once? Ev
