I heard the alarm ring. I opened my eyes, and for a moment I looked around. What's with this place? Where am I? OH! I am in Seoul... Things progressed so quickly that I was in daze. I got up and looked at the second floor, Katy was sleeping, hugging a Keroro plush... Even if she likes Minho, Keroro plush.... isn't it too much? I sighed and went to the washroom to freshen up. It was Sunday, so I had a day off.

Today, I'll be going to SME for the audition. I am nervous. But I'm happy, really really happy.... First is because I'm going for the audition. It's been my dream to go and attend SM audition and get selected. It may come true. And second, because one of my biggest dream is coming true... Today's my birthday! Yes! Eighteen years ago, on this day, May 11th, I was born. And today I may be able to see Taemin, the man I love. Though it's not the same as celebrating my birthday together with him, but just coincidentally meeting him will make me happy too. Though I'm not that sure. I have terrible luck with such things. 

I quickly finished with my shower and wore my clothes. The bathroom door opened. Katy looked at me and smiled, "Good Morning, Aerri." I looked at her, smiled and replied, "Good Morning! Did you sleep well?" "Mm...Happy Birthday!" she said and was about to hug me, but stopped half way. "No, wait! Let me freshen up and then I'll congratulate you properly." I laughed and got out of the washroom. She quickly freshened up, And as soon as she got out, she bear hugged me. "Happy Birthday! You're 18! So what do you want as your birthday present?" I just chuckled and replied, "Nothing! Let's quickly eat our breakfast and then let's go for the audition. If we get selected, it'll be the best present for me." "You are too nice. Let's go!" Katy said, pulling me out of our room.

We quickly finished up our breakfast and got out of the campus. We hired a cab and went straight to the SME building. It was huge and very well constructed. I went up to the security and asked, "Excuse me! I and my friend here want to audition as singer and stylist respectively. Where do we have to go?". He looked at me and asked us to follow him. We went to the reception and he asked us to wait. He spoke to the Receptionist and they told him something. He then took us to a hall, and opened the door. It was a really big hall. And there were many people there. The security asked us to go to a woman who sat at the corner of the room and fill up the forms. We did as directed. After filling up the form we waited to be called. For some strange reason, Katy was also with me. Shouldn't she be in the stylist audition section? Well... Who cares! 

I waited until I was called. I went into another room. It was quite big too. And here, at a big conference table, sat a few people. They looked at me. I looked at them, bowed low and greeted them. "Annyeonghaesyo! My real name is __________. Here, I am going by the name of Aerri. I have come from London. And I love K-Pop. I have come here with the only goal of becoming a K-Pop Idol." "That's some kind of confidence you have there.", a woman said and smirked. "So what are you going to sing?" I looked at them and said, "Let It Go from Disney's Frozen". A man looked at me and motioned me to sing. I closed my eyes and thought of the first time I watched SHINee. Taemin's face flashed in front of me. I smiled and began to sing. After I was done singing the judges looked at me quite impressed. "You have really good vocals.", one of the judges complemented. I bowed. "But.." I looked at the judges. "What about Korean? Can you sing in Korean?" I smiled and nodded. "Yes, I can. Both in Korean and Japanese." "Is that so?", one of the judges asked. "So please sing something for us in Korean." I nodded and began singing SNSD's I Got A Boy. The judges seemed to like it. "Earlier you said, that your name, Aerri, is an alias. Why aren't you using your real name?"
