"I love you."
Casey woke up with a start from the thunder clapped. She clutched onto the soft blankets and pulled it closer to her chest as she eased her racing heart. She fumbled in the dark, the only light source from the full moon, her hand finding for the boy who was with her the night before.
But it was empty.
"Hoya?"
She called out in the darkness but was greeted with silence. She quickly got up from bed and quickly wore her clothing. "Hoya?" she called out again and ran out of the room. The sheets next to her was cold which meant that he was gone for a long while now.
"Casey?"
"Jongie, where is Hoya?"
"Where are you going?"
"I need to find him!"
Lightning flashed and thunder clapped as she ran out of the army camp. She ran out and cried out, looking into the darkness for the man she loved.
She was about to run further when a pair of hands grabbed her waist. She remembered kicking and flailing her arms around asking her 'captor' to put her down but he didn't.
Dongwoo only let her go once they were inside and when they changed to dry clothes. "I need to find him."
"No, Casey."
"Why?"
"I don't know but... He will come back."
Casey sobbed and Dongwoo hugged her. "What if he doesn't?"
Dongwoo snorted and brushed her hair. "It's Hoya, he will come back."
But, he never returned.

10 Years Later
It was weird to return to Seoul.
The city was booming with activity and while yes there was still some remains of the war and new architectures replacing the war torn ones, he felt that he was in a different world all together.
He wasn't planning on returning. Everything about this place was too familiar for him.
But, he couldn't ignore a letter from President Hwang, especially when he personally invited him. The man with dark eyes and dark hair shook his head. He couldn't believe he actually found him.
Then again, he was the President: he would be able to find anyone and he was sure that they had once set everything up were able to find him in a heartbeat.
It's been 10 years since the war had ended.
It's been 10 years since he last saw all of them and her.
He left them without a word, without a goodbye as he tried to sort things out. But, there was never a day that went by that he did not think of them.
Especially her.
He was anxious in seeing them and to be honest, he wasn't sure what to say to them when he does meet them.
Say that he was sorry?
Say that he didn't mean to?
Both were a lie since he deliberately left the country without a trace and he was the least bit sorry for leaving.
He was grabbing his belongings from the table when he saw a note on it. He picked up the note that was scribbled in pen:
The President wants to see you before the reception at 6.30pm sharp at his suite. Room 1619.
He glanced at his watch and saw that it was 6.25pm. Talk about impaciable timing.
