Chapter Eight

Packing your books inside your bag, you drank the coffee up and burnt your tongue. “Ow,” you fanned your tongue and took cold water from your refrigerator. You drank it and made sure that the cold water would pass through the part where your tongue got burnt.

You locked your unit and dropped your keys inside your bag. You jogged downstairs and slowed down at the last three steps when you someone leaning against the wall of the building your living at.

Your eyes widened when you saw it was L. His eyes were closed while listening to his I-pod. His earphones were plugged in his ears and he seems much indulged with the music he’s listening at.

“What is he doing here?” you eyed him and just stood two feet away from him. “Maybe he’s waiting for someone else.” You nodded once and continued walking.

Your walking Is slow and you have this urge to go back and ask him why is he there but you stopped. “Psh, I don’t care about him.” you shook it off your head.

L opened his eyes and saw you walking away already. He could see by the way you walk that you’re hesitating. He smiled and straightened up. He followed you behind and just walked behind you just like last night. He didn’t make any sounds.

“Hmm, I wonder what he’s doing there.” You stopped from walking and that’s the time when he stopped as well. You turned your head and when you spun around L just followed you and hid behind you
