Departure and a new Beginning for Eli
Falling in Love Hurts.
"I haven't ever seen Eli like this." When I say Eli and not Eli Oppa that means I'm very serious, afraid, and even angry. Eli's head was now on my lap and he was sleeping peacefully with his body spread out on the rest of the sofa. Kevin was sitting in front of me on the floor holding my right hand while my other hand was caressing Eli's hair. Kevin had a disturbed type of look on his face but put on a small smile and looked at me and said, "I know me either, let him sleep peacefully for now Hyun Ae, Hyung never cries and if he does that means something very serious must have happened. I'll make us some ramen okay?" I nodded my head and he got up to go to the kitchen. "I'm afraid it has something to do with Unnie..." I whispered. Kevin being Kevin heard me and asked, "Hana Noona?" "De. I think something might have happened to her. That's all I can come up with. Umma and Appa aren't here all we have left is Unnie and you and maybe some family in America." I replyed. Kevin sighed and came to me. He took both of my hands and looked in my eyes, "Listen Hyun Ae. All I have is you and Eli Hyung. Okay? I need you to be strong and take care of yourself more. And Eli hyung. Be more strong okay? You know when you met me and I was so weak? You helped me become stronger. I need you to be strong and help Hyung get through this whether it involves Noona or not okay?" I nodded and he kissed me on the forehead and left to the kitchen again. "Komowo..." I whispered. I turned my head to see Kevin giving me his eyesmile and saying no problem.
Ten mintues later Oppa was waking up and I slowly cupped one of his cheeks. "How are you oppa?" He smiled but it quickly faded away. "Before I tell you what happened, do we have any food?" Eli oppa whined. I giggled and told him Kevin was almost done with the ramen. He smiled a small smile as Kevin came into the living room of our apartment with the three ramen bowls on a tray that he was carrying. "Thanks bro." Eli smiled playfully punching Kevin's arm. Kevin smiled and gave him his bowl. Wahh this was so good~! I thought as I started eating.
Soon we all were done. I picked everything up and cleaned and washed my hands. I came back and sat down on the sofa between my two oppa's.
"Okay, there's no stalling huh?" Eli chuckled but Kevin and my face remained serious so he got on with it, "Okay then. Well today I got a phone call it was from Eun Sun..." Eun Sun is Hana's best friend who is Eli's fiancee aka the noona me and kevin were talking about earlier. "She told me Hana was in a car accident..." Eli paused for a second. "S-She told me that Hana is in the hospital calling for me and they're not sure of her survival chances. Then she told me I needed to come see her immediately. All she does is call my name. So I've decided I'm going. I don't know how long but I think I'm going to stay there. But I need to ask you first Hyun Ae... Would you be alright if I left you for a year or so here? Kevin will be here, he lives right next door. What do you think?" Suddenly I felt Kevin's hand on my face. I was crying I guess. "U-u-unnie... go to her asap Eli. Leave as soon as possible. Eli please..." I whispered the last part. Once again I didn't call him oppa so he realized I was being very serious right now. Eli oppa looked at me and took my hand. "I'm leaving tomorrow then okay? I'm gonna go pack all my stuff now. Kevin take good care of her. Okay?" Kevin nodded and I held onto Kevin's hand as soon as Eli let go of mine. Kevin walked me to my room and sang me my lullaby.
It was our favorite ost from Secret Garden. Kevin's voice was amazing, no beautiful, no both. It was like wow. Is he an angel or something? I'd asked myself that alot of times. Sometimes I just think he must be my guardian angel from heaven. That's what it feels like. When I fell asleep I felt Kevin peck me on the forehead and close my door. I heard him whisper Goodnight and something else I couldn't make out.
