Hyun Ae was now in her first year of middle school while Eli and the rest were seniors.

My heart fluttered when he called my name.

“Here, Hyun Ae.” He handed me a cup of iced green tea, “Enjoy! I only put one packter of sugar in like usual.” He smiled and rested his head on his folded elbows on the counter.

“T-thanks oppa.” I blushed and I drank some. “It tastes really nice! Thanks Cheondoong oppa!”  I smiled again.

“No problem, anything for you Hyunnie dongsaeng!” He got up and ruffled my hair. Then he went to go help the next customer that came in.

When will he see me as just more than a dongsaeng?

I sighed and took another sip of my iced green tea. “Hey.” Joon sat in the seat in front of me.

“Hey.” I gave him the smallest of smiles.

“You shouldn’t like him you know.” He stated bluntly.

I stared at him a bit shocked and confused. Even though Eli was my brother, Joon would always be able to read me like a book.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I muttered lying.

“You know very well what I’m talking about.” He sighed and reached out to grab my hand. “Hyun Ae, he’s a senior now. In a few months he’ll be leaving to America. Eun Sun is already there in her senior year as well. You won’t see him for a long time. Please try to understand. I don’t want you to get any more hur-“

“I know.” I hung my head. He sighed again and walked over to sit next to me and give me a hug.

“I’m going to do it anyway.”

He sighed again, “I didn’t think you would listen to me.”

“Mianhae oppa. Maybe if I just hear him reject me completely then I can give up on him.”

Joon nodded and detached his arms from my body and handed me a piece of chocolate while putting another piece into his own mouth.

That was the day Hyun Ae had made her first confession to Cheondoong.

A few months later just like Joon had said, Cheondoong had left to America. Hyun Ae had healed in thes months and decided it’d be a good thing for him to leave now more than ever. Kevin didn’t know anything about Hyun Ae liking Cheondoong or confessing.

“Hey, let’s go to the movies!” Hyun Ae screamed excitedly.

“Okay." Kevin smiled and nodded. Victoria also smiled and nodded.

Victoria was the one who actually knew about Hyun Ae's feelings.

All three of them happily walked off to the movies as if they had no care in the world.
