A few weeks have gone by since EXO’s Korean showcase and then debut. All of the K members were already back in town and busily promoting their song on music shows whereas all the M members were running from city to city, performing and doing interviews.

We did meet up with the boys from K once or twice but for the most part, we concentrated on our own lives and watched from afar. Regardless though, the longing was still there. I missed Luhan.

For the past week, I had been staying over at Ji Eun’s house to get stay away from the loneliness of my own home.

Tonight, both Ji Eun and I were staying up late because we were going to webcam with the M members later on.

“Yoonae, is that a new interview?” Ji Eun asked me as she looked over my shoulder. I nodded and clicked on the link. Honestly, we didn’t hear much from the Chinese group at all considering their debut wasn’t even aired live. This was the first time we heard from them since they left.

“Wow. They actually look so good.” Ji Eun said as we watched the Sina Interview. I didn’t even say anything in response as I was too busy staring at them myself.

Half way through the show, the MC asked them about their ideal types. I watched without care as Kris and Lay answered the question without much thought. Ji Eun nudged me several times when it was Luhan’s turn.

I rolled my eyes at her childish behaviour but at the same time, I was pretty nervous myself. I held my breath and turned my attention to the screen as the host called on Luhan.

“I prefer the type that’s demure or shy and quiet.”

The video played on but the two of us remained frozen for a while. A mixture of pain, confusion and jealousy hit me. Shy and quiet? That’s not me...is it?

I thought back of the times that I hung out with him. I usually spoke everything that was on my mind and I even had arguments with Kai in front of him various times. The way I broke up with him the other time was definitely not very elegant either.

Before I was able to make myself any more depressed about the matter though, a ringing sound came from the computer indicating a video call from Skype.

I clicked ‘Answer’ and almost instantly, Luhan’s face popped up on the screen.

“Hi love! How are you doing?” Luhan greeted enthusiastically as soon as he saw me on the screen.

I frowned at him. “I’ve been better.”

“Aww miss me too much?” He teased. I sent him a glare through the webcam which he was taken aback from.

“Ohhh, Luhan’s in trouble!” I heard Xiu Min call before popping his head into the screen. “Hi Yoonae!”

I smiled briefly and waved to him before glaring back at Luhan again.

“Baby, what’s wrong?” He asked me quietly.

“You have some explaining to do.” I told him. His eyes widened like a deer caught in headlights.

“What did I do wrong?”

I heard Ji Eun chuckling beside me. “I’ll leave you two alone for a bit.” She said and leaned in to wave at my boyfriend in the cam. “Nice to see you Luhan! I wish I could stay and chat but uh....I gotta go.”

“Wait! Ji Eun-shii!” Luhan called desperately after my best friend who took off out the room. “Yoonae...what did I do wrong?” He asked in all sincerity. Maybe I was over exaggerating this...but it did hurt a lot knowing that I wasn’t his ideal type.

“I watched your Sina interview today.” I told him. “Including the part about the ideal types.”

Silence surrounded us, I didn’t even dare look up at the screen to witness his reaction. My cheeks were tinted with a deep shade of pink when I finally realized how stupid I sounded.

“Yoonae....” He started. I still didn’t look up. “Yoonae...are you jealous?”

I immediately scrambled for an answer. “Y-Yes but...I mean...it’s not that...I just miss you a lot I guess, so I feel more insecure? I don’t know what I was saying before. I’m sorry-”

He laughed whole heartedly at my stuttering. “Yoonae, I can assure you that you were the only one on my mind when I was thinking about the answer. I tried to make it seem more general so that it wouldn’t be so obvious that I was seeing someone. And at the same time...you have no idea do you?”

I finally looked up in confusion. “No idea about what?” I asked him.

“You are so beautiful when you are shy. I love the way your cheeks light up, how you look down avoiding my gaze and really, thinking back to when I first asked you out, it was quiet, calm, and one of my best memories with you.”

I felt my cheeks heat up even more when he said those things. “T-That’s not true...”

“It’s very true.” Luhan replied. I couldn’t help but feel a silly grin stretch across my face.

“So...how has China been? Did you get a chance to visit your parents yet?” I asked him in attempt to take the attention off of me.

“No I didn’t, I might soon but it’s hard, we have a very busy schedule.” He said. “Everything else has been going great though, our debut went pretty well and the interviews are fun...but I wish you were here with me.”

“I know. I wish I was there too.” I admitted. “But I can’t.”

“How is aunty anyways?” He asked me.

I shrugged. “She hasn’t really gotten any better....but she hasn’t gotten worse I guess.”

“Aww. I’m sorry baby, I wish that I could be with you right now.”

I shook my head and smiled at him. “It’s okay. You don’t need to worry about me. I’m sure both my mother and I will be fine.”

“I miss you so much though.”

“I miss you too.”

“I miss you too!” I jumped when a sudden outburst came from the other line, mocking the two of us.

“Geez hyung, you’re so cheesey!” The familiar voice of Chen whined before he jumped behind Luhan and waved. “HIII YOONAE!”

“CHEEENNNNIIEEE!” I cried and waved back at him. “I miss you Chennie-oppa!”

“Oppa?!” “I MISS YOU TOO YOONAE!” The two males cried at the same time. It was that moment that Ji Eun decided to come back from her little break with a phone attached to her ear.

“Who are you talking to?” I asked her. She froze and looked over my shoulder.

“Uh...Is that Chen?!” She exclaimed.

“Yah! Stop changing the subject!”

“I’m not!....HI CHEN!”

“HIIIIII!”

“CHEN WOULD YOU QUIET DOWN?!” I jumped back along with everybody else currently in the situation when Kris stormed into the room, screaming at the hyperactive Korean.

“Sorry hyung...” Chen mumbled guiltily.

“Jeez...acting like Chanyeol all of a sudden. One happy virus is enough for all of Asia.” Kris grumbled before he appeared on screen too.

“Hey guys, how are you doing?” He asked casually with a towel around his neck, obviously just fresh from a shower.

“HIIII KRIS!” Ji Eun screamed making me jump back again. This was too much for such a late hour.

Kris waved at us and smiled. He seemed.....friendly....maybe things have changed....it’s kind of creepy though.

“I wanna come too!” Xiu Min cried from off camera and suddenly he appeared, cramming himself in whatever space was left, dragging along a stunned Lay with him.

“Tao! Hurry up!” Chen cried. Both Ji Eun and I watched in amusement as a sleepy panda entered the room, waved, and then disappeared onto the bed behind him.

“Awww is Tao sleepy?” Ji Eun cooed. The tired panda just let out a groan and complained about his hyungs being way too loud despite having a schedule the entire day.

“Yeah guys, it’s getting late, let Tao sleep won’t you?” Luhan finally spoke up after a long time. Xiu Min scoffed.

“You only want to spend more time with your girlfriend.”

“I-I....That too. So go!” Luhan shooed them away. They refused to leave though, making Luhan all the more frustrated. I couldn’t help but laugh.

Suddenly Ji Eun spoke from behind me. “Would you like to talk to them too?” I lifted an eyebrow in confusion before turning to catch her talking into the phone.

“Tell Chanyeol he can log onto Skype and join us if he wants.” I told her. She froze, obviously not aware of the audience watching her.

“Uh....Channie....wanna join the Skype convo?” He signed on and we added him in right then and there.

“NOOOO!” Tao cried, making everyone in both rooms jump. “I’LL NEVER GET TO SLEEP AT THIS RATE!”

“Tao, why don’t you just go to bed in another room?” Luhan asked.

“Hyuuunnnngggg, you invaded my room in the first place, why couldn’t you stay in your room from the beginning?”

“Because Lay was changing.” Luhan said in a matter-of-factly tone.

“I wouldn’t have minded.” I mumbled under my breath.

“Neither would I.” Ji Eun agreed from behind me.

“WHAT WAS THAT?!” Chanyeol and Luhan screamed at the same time. How could they be in sync in two different countries?

Lay, who was half asleep at the moment anyways, simply smiled at his hyung when Luhan turned and glared at him.

“Hyuunnnggggg. Baekhyun hyuuunggggg! My girlfriend is cheating on meeee!” Chanyeol yelled making all of us freeze. I turned to look at Ji Eun who facepalmed herself as a result of her...boyfriend’s stupidity.

“YOU....PARK CHANYEOL! YOU IDIOT!” Ji Eun yelled at him and Chanyeol smiled back at the camera innocently.

“Oops...?”

“You are sooooo done for when I see you next time.” Ji Eun threatened.

“But...but...I’m sorry! You know I can’t keep secrets andit’shardenoughtokeepitfromexo-kandnowyou’reaskingmetokeepitfromexo-mandyourbestfriendandhowamisupposedtodothatwhen...”

“If you don’t forgive him now, I think he’ll die from lack of oxygen...” I told her.

“Chanyeol! Stop blabbering!” Baekhyun yelled from the bed behind Chanyeol. Who knew he was sleeping there the whole time?

“BACON-OPPA!” I shouted happily in response to my favourite EXO-K member. Baekhyun sat up not long after and joined Chanyeol by the computer.

“Yoonae my love, how are you doing? Are you coming to our performance next week like you promised?” He asked, smiling brightly at us.

“YAH! What is this?” Luhan yelled. “Am I just non-existent now?!”

“Luhan, I don’t think this would have happened if you hadn’t messed up in the interview about the Ideal Types.” Xiu Min said.

“B-”

“And I guess Baekhyun-hyung is doing an amazing job looking after your girlfriend while you’re gone.” Chen replied. Everybody around him gasped.

“See Chennie, I knew you’d understand me.” I went along with the act, making sure I kept a straight face while talking. “You are my bias afterall.”

And then...

Luhan snapped.

A giant thud resounded in all three rooms as he hit the desk which in turn rumbled the webcam mic. An awkward silence followed after and everybody watched in silence, even Tao poked his head up to watch his hyung storm out of the room.

Crap.....was that too much?

“Um....can someone tell him that...I’m joking? And that I’m sorry?” I cringed when Kris sent me a glare in the camera. Oh dear...he’s mad again...it was just a joke....

Tao immediately ran out of the room and followed his hyung to who knows where. Not long after that Xiu Min seemed panicked and ran after him. That’s when the shouting started and Luhan began spouting some long lines of Chinese at his fellow members. In the end, everybody in EXO-M was outside and a rush of guilt over came me.

“Yoonae love....I think that was too much.” Baekhyun said quietly. Even the hyper couple was silent as we waited for someone from the last room to come back.

The volume of shouting only increased and a few swear words were being thrown back and forth in Korean amidst the Chinese. It was then that I heard a very distinct Korean line within the mess.

“You know what! I’m done with this relationship! Everything is about Chen! Baekhyun! Even Kai!” I flinched, what did Kai have to do with this?

“I’M SO DONE WITH HER!”

My heart stopped beating for a second, tears started to flow without an indication of stopping anytime soon. I didn’t want this to happen. It was just a joke, something to playfully make him jealous....not this.

It wasn’t supposed to end like this...it was never supposed to end like this. Ji Eun reached over and hugged me around the shoulders as I wept into her arms. Even Baekhyun and Chanyeol watched in sympathy.

“Yoonae...” The voice was too familiar. I was too scared to look up at the screen because I knew what was going to come next.

“Yoonae...” Luhan called again. And then....he laughed. All the members hustled in at once, laughing without end. I couldn’t take it anymore....it hurt. Joke or not...it really hurt. After the laughing died down, it was followed by a long silence.

“Yoonae...hey baby? I’m sorry.” He said. I couldn’t stop crying though, there was a sense of relief but it still lingered in my systems. The words he said were scarring, repeating in my head.

“Please don’t cry.” I got up and slammed the laptop shut before burying my head in the sheets of Ji Eun’s bed.

Within moments though, my cellphone rang on the desk. Ji Eun picked it up and answered it for me.

“Luhan-shii?...Yes she’s here but...no she’s still crying...you should be sorry. I don’t think she wants to talk to you right now.”

“Tell him,” I sniffled, “That if he’s going to waste his time calling me, he better pay my international bill when he gets back.”

Ji Eun pressed the phone to my ear and held it there, knowing I wouldn’t even want to talk to him if she didn’t force me to.

“Go away.” I told him, my voice cracking in the end.

“Listen Yoonae, I’m sorry. I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean for it to go that far. I’ll make it up to y-” I grabbed the phone and hung up on him.

“PARK YOONAE WHAT DID YOU JUST-”

“He’s wasting my phone bill.” I told her before opening a text message up and typing to him.

From: Yoonae
You. Are. Not. Forgiven.

A text came in not long after...hmm..maybe he was desperate.

From: Luhan
Please? *pouts*

My heart tugged from the mental image of him pouting in front of me.

From: Yoonae
Won’t work. Get some sleep, you have all of tomorrow to figure it out. And the day after. And the day after.

From: Luhan
So you’re still worried about me :)

From: Yoonae
No. I’m worried for the other members because they have to show up on stage with you.

From: Luhan
You know you’re worried about me. :)

From: Yoonae
Whatever floats your boat. I’m tired, my eyes are burning thanks to a certain SOMEONE. Going to sleep. Bye.

From: Luhan
No sweetdreams? No hugs and kisses?

From: Yoonae
I said GOODNIGHT.

From: Luhan
Goodnight my love. (PS. Don’t let Baekhyun ever call you that ever again.) I’m sorry. I really miss you. <3

Turning off my phone now. Bye.

Not even a hug?

Fine ignore me!

I was serious when I said to not let Baekhyun call you that again.

I was wrong...and I was jealous...forgive me please?

I know this might be late but...I promise to never make you cry again.

Crap....I’m such a jerk...you’re probably actually sleeping already.

I guess I have to go to sleep now....

I smiled to myself and typed a brief message before closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep.

...I’m seriously going to go to sleep now but....I love you too

A/N: Hey guys! So this is...like the most pointless, yet emotional, dramatic chapter ever. There's barely any plot development in this. It's sooooo extra. But anyways, I'm gonna leave it at this =] I'll give you guys a real update soon.
