“So what did you think of the guys?” Luhan was driving me home after we had dropped off a starstruck Ji Eun.

“They’re all really nice actually. Kyungsoo-shii’s cooking is amazing and Sehun and Baekhyun are a lot of fun.” I smiled as I remembered the way that all the guys fought over the food and Suho scolded them for not having manners around guests.

“So you don’t hate them anymore?”

“I told you-”

“You don’t hate them, you’re just tired of seeing them everywhere, yeah yeah, I get it.” Luhan rolled his eyes. I giggled and hit his arm playfully.

“Who’s your favourite?” He asked.

“Chen!” I said automatically. He visibly flinched and I couldn’t help but smile. “He sang to me after dinner. I love his voice, and he’s really sweet.”

“I can sing too.” I heard him mumble. I grinned and reached over to kiss him on the cheek.

“I know.” I told him. “You’ll always be my favourite.”

Not long after, he pulled into my driveway and got out of the car to walk me to the door. We stood on the front porch hugging each other in silence. I didn’t want to let go. It took so long to see him a second time, who knew how long it would take to see him again?

“Thank you so much for today.” I told him. “You have no idea how happy I am right now.”

“Me too.” He said and kissed my hair.

“I don’t want you to go.” I mumbled into his chest.

“I don’t either but it’s really late already Yoonae-ah. Not to mention it’s really cold out too, I don’t want you to catch a cold.” He wrapped his arms tighter around me. “You should go in.”

I laughed. “Are you going to let me go then?”

He began squishing me tighter once again, his warmth spreading through me. It felt nice being in his arms. I didn’t need anything else. I just wanted to stay in this moment forever.

Suddenly the warmth was gone though. I found him standing with his hands dropped to my sides as he stepped back a bit and looked into my eyes.

He smiled slightly and leaned in to give me a warm kiss. It was gentle, so very gentle and relaxing. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him for a while longer before parting for air.

“You should go inside now.” He said and finally let go of me. I shivered a bit at the loss of contact.

“I’ll see you again soon?” I asked him. He nodded.

“Promise.” He said with a smile on his face. I couldn’t help but to smile in response. I opened the door and stepped inside only to look behind me one more time. He was still there with the same smile on his face.

“Goodnight.” I said. He waved a bit.

“Goodnight.”

With that I stepped in, closed the door behind me and ran upstairs to look out my window. I leaned with my elbows onto the windowsill as I watched him get into his car and drive off. It took a while for it to finally sink in that my boyfriend had just dropped me home.

My boyfriend. Luhan. Luhan, my boyfriend.

Suddenly my phone vibrated in my pocket. I pulled it out and checked the text that had just come in.

Luhan: Sweet dreams my love. I miss you already.

A rush of warmth ran through me. I quickly typed in a reply and got ready for bed with a smile on my face.

Me too. Sweet dreams.
