“How did I get you to drag me onto this?” I turned to look at Luhan who looked at me accusingly. His hand shook as he gripped onto the handle to his seat.

“Relax Luhan~ It’s not that high.” I said. He gave me an incredulous look and nodded pointedly to the track ahead of us.

“Not high? We’re still going up!” I rolled my eyes, we were almost there anyways.

“Are you scared of heights?” I asked him.

“No.” He replied almost too quickly. I laughed as his face turned red from embarrassment and then drastically changed to a sickening pale colour when we finally reached the top.

“No...no...this is not happening. No no n- AAAAAHHH.”

I almost choked from laughing at his high pitched scream as we went down. By the end of the ride he was frozen in the seat, trying to comprehend what had just happened.

“Scared of heights?” I asked him as we walked off. He leaned on me for support and nodded.

“You should have said so ahead of time.” I told him and laughed when he glared at me. “Let’s sit down for a while then.”

We walked to a bench, decently isolated from everyone else.

“Hey, can I ask you something?” I called to him once we were able to relax again. He turned to me and smiled encouragingly.

“Why is it that you always call me so late? You always say you’re busy with work.” I said. “What type of work?”

He shrugged. “Stuff...like studying languages and stuff like that. I was actually an exchange student from China.”

“Really?” I was shocked. “Your Korean sounds so....flawless.”

He chuckled a bit. “Well, I have stayed here for 2 years now, so I guess it should be expected.”

“So you work here now?” He nodded. “What do you do for a living?”

“I’m...training to be a singer right now actually.” He blushed, a dark shade of pink tinted both his cheeks. I couldn’t help but giggle, he looked so cute.

“Really? Will I get to see you on stage soon?” I asked excitedly. He shrugged it off with a ‘maybe.’ I couldn’t help but jump a bit from the news, afterall, his voice was so amazing the last time he sang to me, it would be nice to see him on stage.

“Can I ask you something?” He said in return. I nodded. “If Kai asked you out...and I mean to be his girlfriend....what would you say?”

“Hah! That idiot?” I rolled my eyes. “As if. He’d probably be asking as a joke or something.”

“Okay...then what if Chanyeol asked you out?”

I looked at him in confusion. “Why would Chanyeol ask me out? I barely know him. Besides, isn’t he a celebrity or something? Doesn’t he have a dating ban?”

“I’m just asking. What if? Would you?” He said. “I mean, you did say you hated EXO and all.”

“I don’t hate them. I’m just tired of hearing about them.” I insisted. He cocked an eyebrow at me. I chuckled, I guess I did kind of contradict myself.

“I mean...you know what, it shouldn’t matter anyways right? Not that an EXO member would ever ask me out anyways but...if I really liked that person, then it shouldn’t matter how I feel about the group. I would still like the person anyways.”

“So I guess...if, and only if, there ever was a time that Chanyeol liked me, and I liked him. Then yes, I would date him.” I paused for a moment as the words I just said sunk in. “But I don’t. And I’d probably have to get through Ji Eun first.”

My last comment seemed to lighten the atmosphere a bit as Luhan laughed and leaned over to rest his head on my shoulder.

“Forget Ji Eun. Let’s just stay like this for a while.” He mumbled. I sighed and relaxed as he began to breathe lightly, sleep taking over in silence.

I looked over at his angelic face and smiled.

What ever his job is...it must be tiring. But at least it granted me a moment with him like this.
