3 Bears
I'll Never Break Your Heart
Mrs Kim: My son, where have you been? We were half way in our meal. What took you so long?
He smiled at me and went over to the dinner table. He held out the basket filled with fruits to my dad and took a seat beside Mrs Kim. In front of me.
I went in the kitchen to take 2 other plates while my mum included Kai into the talk. I went back in the living room and stood behind Kai while stretching out my hand to place the plate in front of him.
Me: So Mrs Kim, where’s Jongin?
Mrs Kim: You’re looking at him, my dear.
I didn’t realize I was staring at Kai.
Me: But that’s Kai.
Mum: You know him?
Me: You can say that.
Mr Kim: Ouh, haha.. We call him that when he was young. He’s grown attached to his name. But his name really is Jongin. Kim Jongin.
I slowly hide the other plate so as to not show I brought another plate for ‘Jongin’, whom I thought was another guy. Kai saw this and stretched him legs to meet mine. By this time, the adults were in a deep conversation. I looked up and saw him smirking at me. I frowned and shoved a sliced potato wedge into my mouth. Kai brushed his toes up my calf and back down.
I glanced up to him, still with a frown. He started mouthing me something.
Kai: Why are you angry?
Me: I’m not! I’m just embarrassed that I made a fool in from of my neighbors and their handsome son.
I mouthed him back. I though he didn’t catch the last phrase cause he didn’t really react to it so I just let it be as it is.
Kai: Well, at least smile.
He smiled, making me smile. Which made both our parents turn to us.
Mr Kim: Ermm, guys. You know you guys can be excused, right?
We both cleared our throats at the same time and left the area. Both Kai and I headed to the living room and took a seat at the sofa. It was a huge sofa but he end up sitting next to me. Honestly, I was brought up having skinship all the time. Means kissing at the cheeks, hugging and stuff. But not always to strangers. Surprisingly, it felt good having him lean on me. In fact, it felt so comfy, I placed my arm on his lap. I switched on to KBSWORLD and it was showing a repeat of the drama, Full House.
Kai: Hey! It’s Full House!
My eyes widen.
Me: Wait, you watched Full House? Me too!
We both high-fived each other. I loved that drama. Mum and I always watched the DVD if we had time together. Dad end up learning the piano notes just for us at any special occasions. This just shows how close are family is.
Kai peeked over to look at me. I saw him and stared at his eyes. Goodness, it’s so clear. He came closer, breathing next to my neck and said,
Kai: Can I properly apologize for making a fool out of you just now?
I didn’t really mind though but why did he got to do that. It made my heart act like crazy. I nod softly making him chuckle silently and got up on his feet.
He started singing the Three Bears song, exactly like the one in Full House.
Kai: There are 3 bears, in one house.
He made a rooftop on his head.
Kai: Appa Bear.
I got up and happily joined him.
Me: Omma Bear.
And we completed the last part together.
Both: Baby Bear.
Kai: Appa bear is round in size.
He made a sign for a huge tummy.
Me: Omma Bear had a slim figure.
I waved down, showing an S-line figure to indicate a slim figure.
Kai: Baby Bear is very very cute~
He did a ‘Bbuing bbuing’ action.
PUHAHAHAHAHAH!~
