It was our last year in this school. The Seniors, I mean. And every year, we had to set up a stall and our stall is the most visited one. Mainly because our classmates are all the top in command. All the way from I/Cs to Cheerleading Leader. You name it. We are in class 5Notorious. That name, surprise surprise. There was another class, class 5Stamina. Well, it’s kinda true! Most of their top leaders are muscular, be it male or female. They were all In-Charge of sports like Canoe, Dragonboating, archery and so on. Sehun is also in this class, he is in Track and Field. No wonder he didn’t pant as much as I did during the Monday Jog.

Ms Foo: Okay class! Are you ready?

Yes, Ms Foo is my History Teacher and Form Teacher. Guess who’s my buddy-form?

Mr Jung: So, where’s the 5N’s team spirit?

Our whole class roared. I felt a sense of belonging and started setting up our stalls. We were selling Cotton Candy and popcorns. We brought in the machines and began making a few batch for the early buyers. Someone whistled.

Sehun. That boy.

He gave me a wink while continued his frying work. 5S were selling fried Fritters. Hotdogs, mushrooms and a whole lot more! While a few boys there were running away after throwing in the fritters cover in batter into the oil, Sehun was coolly turning them around for an even fry.

It was about to start. 1:59PM.

2PM.

Principal Wee: May the fiesta BEGIN!

We started selling our sweets and it was selling out fast. A constant amount of costumers were at 5S’s stall but not as much as ours. Soon, it as 5PM. And we were all sold out. I looked over at 5S’s and I still saw a quarter left of what they were selling.

Me: 5N, let’s help 5S out! It’s our last year, let us end it with a Bang!

So, our classes joined in and unite forces. We were yelling, offering and even giving out free food to those who really couldn’t afford it. Just as it was about to finish, Siwon fooled around. He started wiping a tad bit of oil on Haneul’s face.

Hanuel: Siwon!

Siwon: Hee, like it?

Haneul: SIWON!

She shouted. Then silence filled up the whole area.

KyuHyun and Jiro: FOOD FIGHT!

! I was in my best clothes and well-done hair! They are gonna play for it.

I quickly hid under the table, where no one would go because they were busy chasing each other. I was putting my head down, hoping no one would actually find me. I was damn wrong. A strong hand grabbed my arm and pulled me. I wanted to have a look at him but food were still flying around so, I didn’t bother trying anymore.

It was far enough when he suddenly let go of my arm and when I opened my eyes, we were not at the school’s carpark. I shifted my eyes.

Sehun. I should have known. But why did he have to grab my hand so tightly?

But his ex said that he was rough

I shook my head to dismiss any idea and stared at his eyes. He turned, facing me and I blushed. I totally blushed. He came near me, revealing what’s at the back of him.

A well made Cotton Candy. I was happy. Very happy. I took it from him and began munching on it. I have a habit of not using my fingers as I know they would stain with the color of the cotton candy so instead, I directly use my mouth, biting it. Sehun started giggling but I was too happy to be angry so I just ignored him. He came closer and bite too. There was only a last bit of it and I was already biting on it.

The cotton candy stretched and now, I was biting on one corner while Sehun was at the other. I was stuck at my bite already. Sehun came biting and biting. I could feel his breath and finally, he planted a kiss on my lips.

Did I ever expect this? Yes but not this early. Nevertheless, I was in cloud Nine. Heavenly. I couldn’t contain myself any further so, I kissed him back. We were now leaning against someone’s car, making out. It was definitely the moment I’ve been waiting for.

Sehun: JiEun, would you be my..?

Me: Yes?

I knew what he was trying to say but I was merely teasing him. He could totally sense it so he now asked me bravely.

Sehun: Would you be my girlfriend?

As he held out a ring.

Me: Yes.

And that was how my perfect Sports Fiesta ended.
