I woke up seeing no one in the classroom. But I felt my head on something soft. It was a maroon and white varsity jacket that was laid under my head. Similar to the one Sehun wore. I quickly took my stuff and headed to the locker. I lost track of the time but right then, I heard the school bell rang, indicating that it was 6 in the afternoon. I ran out to go back home but I bumped into someone’s chest after opening the school doors.

Me: Ak! Oh my goodness, I’m sorry. I really am.

I placed my hand on his chest, rubbing it to ensure that he was not hurt. Then, slowly I saw his face.

Kai: Hey, don’t worry about me. Are you okay?

I placed his left hand at the back of my head and the other on my fringed-forehead. He pulled me close and his lips touched my head. He blew hot air to my rather swollen forehead. After a few moments, he released me and gave me the most dazzling smile. I just smiled at him while trying to alter my hair.

Kai: I’m sorry; I didn’t get your name.

Me: I didn’t get yours either.

We both laughed at this silliness. We end up telling each other our names.

Kai: I’m Kai, you highness.

Haha.. He’s funny.

Me: I’m JiEun, my good knight.

Kai: Wow, good job keeping up with the program!

We both gave out a small chuckle. Then I remembered I gotta get home for dinner. Mum invited the new neighbors across the street over for dinner.

Me: Hey, Kai. I’m actually in a hurry. See you soon?

Kai: I can give you a ride. Where do you stay?

Me: Nah, I’ll just walk. Anyway, I don’t take ride from strangers.

Kai: Haha, something a mother would say.

He said with a smirk on his face.

Me: Hey! She’s still my mum. See you soon Kai!

I slowly turned away and let my hair flow back slowly. I knew he would look at my back view. If there was one thing I was confident of, it is my hair. It’s so full and thick, I often use it as a pillow. It’s straight yet puffy.

He laughed under his breath.

Kai: She’s smart enough to know I’m gonna be looking at her. Smart girl.

He walked off to the shop, smiling.
