AMBER’s POV

Since I can’t go back to sleep, I spend the rest of the dawn reading some book, my English-Korean translation book. Before the sun rise up, I decided to jog around the neighborhood. When I got back in the house, she’s already awake. She’s eating a bowl of cereal in the kitchen. I went straight upstairs and hit the shower. When I step out of my bathroom, my phone rings.

“Yeah?” I answered.

“Little Bro, parents wants to see you now in skype. Now means at this instant.” My sister told me.

“I just got out from the shower.” I answered.

“Dad said you got one minute to dress-up.” she answered. “Oh, she wants to see Krystal beside you when they talk to you.” She added.

“Why?” I asked her.

“Time is ticking.” She stated.

“Aish! Alright!” I groaned in annoyance and hang up.

I quickly put on my clothes and head downstairs where I find her in the living room watching some show in the TV. I bring my laptop with me and laid it on top of the table. She looked at me with furrowed brows.

“My parents want to talk to us in skype.” I informed her. “We better act that we’re getting along.” I continued.

She lightly nodded her head and then I sat beside her in the sofa, but not close to her. I call my parents in skype and saw Jackie first.

“Whoa! I didn’t expect that my sister-in-law is so beautiful.” Jackie stated.

“Thank you, Unnie!” Krystal replied with a smile.

“Is my brother treating you well?” she asked me.

I saw my parents sat down with her so I put on a happy expression.

“I don’t want to be hypocrite here, so I will tell the truth.” Krystal said which made me drop my happy expression and turn to her. “He is mean to me, Unnie.” She continued faking a cry.

“What the..”

“Amber!” I can hear my Dad call me sternly.

I slowly turn my head back to the screen to see my father who is looking at me furiously. I flashed a nervous smile to him and I don’t know how will I defend myself.

“Don’t you dare test me, Amber.” Dad said to me.

“I’m so disappointed to you, Am.”Mom said while looking at me with disappointment in her eyes. “ That is the least I expected you to do to her.” She continued.

I can hear Krystal giggling softly. If she is not a girl, I will definitely hit her in my annoyance.

“This fiancée of mine is a jokester.” I said and fake a laugh as I swing my arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer to my side. “Of course I’m treating her well Mom, in fact, I’m treating her like a Princess.” I continued. “Say yes.”I whispered to her.

“What will I get in return?” she answered back.

“I’ll forget the five bucks.” I replied quickly.

“Oh, I’m just kidding earlier!”she said with her smile and my parents looked at us with blank expression. “He is treating me like a Princess, Mom.” She continued and shakes my hand off her shoulder.

“Well…that’s good to hear.”Mom said and curved a smile.

I let out a sigh in relief when my parents believed her. They keep on saying things to us, more like interviewing us on how we are. We answer all their questions, mostly with lies. My parents talk to her more than to me. All I did is just sit and listen to them.

KRYSTAL’s POV

I like his family. They are nice to me unlike him. I enjoyed talking to them. His sister is fun to talk to. I find her a cool Unnie. I elbowed Amber who fell asleep when his Dad called him.

“Wha…What?”he asked groggily as he looked at the monitor. “Oh, yes Dad?”

“I said that we will come in Korea with Krystal’s family next month for your engagement party.” Mr. Liu said to us which made me widened my eyes.

“Alright.” Amber answered him. I think he is just okay in all of this.

We said our goodbye to them and then I quickly got up on my seat. I think if they will see that we get along with each other, they will move our wedding date and change their plans.

“Yah! I think our parents are planning to move our wedding earlier than they planned before.” I told him and he looked at me with furrowed brows.

“Then let it be.” He answered, obviously not caring at all.

“Aish! I don’t want to get married to you!” I said to him in annoyance and gasped when I realized what I just said. I covered my mouth while he is just staring at me with raised brows.

“Me neither.”he answered briefly and let out a sigh. “If in case they will move our wedding date and get us married, we can always have a divorce.” He continued and got up from his seat.

“Yes! That’s it!"I exclaimed as I clapped my hands. "We will have our divorce. I will surely divorce you.” I said to him thinking that he come up with a bright idea.

“And we can live happily ever after, separately!”he said with a smirked on his face after he grab his laptop and head upstairs.
