KRYSTAL’s POV

I can’t concentrate during my exam. I feel worried that Amber might found out that the ring that I am looking for is not exactly the ring that he gave me. After I finished my exam, I asked Suho to drive me back in our house. I saw Mr. Kang and I thought Amber is still there but he isn’t. I got nervous as I approached Mr. Kang. I felt happy that he himself found the ring as well as relieved.  He told me that Amber hurriedly left when he found the ring so that means he didn’t saw it.

“I will take you back to school, Young Miss.” Mr. Kang told me and I shook my head.

“No need, Mr. Kang. My friend is driving me back to school.”  I answered him because Suho is still waiting outside. He honestly got upset when I lost the ring.

“Okay.” Mr. Kang replied with his gentle smile. “Take care.” He continued.

“Thank you once again Mr. Kang.” I told him and curved a smile.

I head back to Suho’s car. I slip his ring into my finger. I always wear this one if I’m in school. I only wear Amber’s ring in front of him and his family. I don’t want to upset or offend him if I wore another ring in front of him.

“Thank heavens, you found it! It’s really an expensive ring and it will be a waste if you will just lose it!” Suho said who is now looking relieved.

“I told you that we will find it again.” I answered him with a faint smile.

“Please, don’t lose it again, okay?” He told me.

“I will take good care of it from now on.”I assured him and he curved a smile.

“Thanks babe.” He answered and kissed my cheek.

I thought Suho is upset because of the thought that I didn’t value the ring that he gave me but it seems like he was upset because of the literal value of this ring.

“Where have you been, Krys?” Luna asked me when I sat down on my chair for our new class.

“Our house.” I answered to her.

“You went home?” Sulli questioned who is sitting in front of me when she turned back her head.

“Yeah! I finally found my ring!” I continued with a smile and show it to them as I raise my hand.

“Whoa!” they both exclaimed , looking fascinated.

“Congratulations Krys. I’m happy for you!” Luna spoke and hug me.

“Me too!” Sulli followed happily and hugged me tightly. I giggled in my friends’ silly behavior.

I grab my phone when I remember that I haven’t thanked Amber for his effort in looking my ring. I know he thought that it was the ring he gave me that was missing and I knida feel bad for him. I noticed the different reaction between him and Suho when I told them about it. Amber didn’t get upset but instead offer to help me find it. I curved a smile after sending my messaged to him and put back my phone in my bag.

AILEE’s POV

I got surprise when I saw Amber outside the kindergarten that I’m teaching.  I think he is skipping his class today because it is still class hours. I asked my co-teacher to look after the kids and went outside to meet Amber. He curved a smile when he saw me and I did the same.

“Don’t you have class today?” I questioned him.

“I’m already too late to attend my class. I will go to school after lunch.” he replied. “I didn’t expect that you are teaching in our kindergarten school.” He continued and scoffed as he roamed his eyes around.

“Well, I love to teach kids.” I answered him and giggled.

“And I remember that you love to act as a teacher before and made me your student.” He spoke and chuckle.

“Oh, you remember it!” I replied to him and laughed.

“Crystal clear.” He spoke with a grin which then slowly faded. “Hmmm, let’s have lunch after your class? I’ll wait for you outside.”

“I would love too but…”I paused.

“But what?” he asked me with raised brows.

“Aren’t you supposed to eat lunch with your fiancée?” I questioned him.

“Well…uhm….she still have class during my lunch break.” He answered. “Come on, Noona!”he whined.

“I don’t know, Am. I don’t want other people to misunderstand when they see us together.” I told him.

“Well, I don’t personally care about what other people will think about me but since it involves you, I think I will invite my other friends to eat with us.” He stated with his playful smile.

“You really want me to eat lunch with you, don’t you?” I asked him as I narrowed my eyes.

“You got me there.” He replied.

I agreed to eat lunch with him and he waited for me until the end of my class. He told me that we will meet his friends in this one restaurant. I get off the car first after he parked it. I waited for him in the sidewalk while he still parking his car properly.

“Are you friends already there?” I asked him.

“I guess so.” He replied.

While we are walking our way to the restaurant, I halt from walking when Amber stopped. We are having this fun conversation when he just suddenly stopped talking and walking. I followed the direction on where he is looking and I saw Krystal with another guy who entered the same restaurant. I don’t personally think if that guy is just her friend because they are holding hands.

“Am.”I called him as I shifted my gaze back at him. I got worried about him

“What?”he replied and scoffed. “Don’t give me that kind of look in your eyes. You look like a goldfish.” He stated and laugh.

“But…”

“Don’t worry. We are just really faking our engagement in front of our family. We don’t really have a thing for each other.” he stated.

Hearing what he said did shock me. I believed him that they really are not in a relationship because he doesn’t look angry about what we saw. But I believed that he was lying when he told me that he don’t have feelings for her. I don’t know what to say to him. I can only see the truth in his eyes. The pain is too visible for other person not to see it. No matter how he tried to smile and pretend that he is unaffected, I know that he is hurting deep inside.

“Let’s just pretend that we didn’t see that, okay?” he told me and I just nodded my head. “Can you promise me that you won’t tell even Jackie about it neither let Krystal know that I know she’s in a relationship?”

“I promise.”I answered him. “But I think it’s best for you to stop fooling yourselves as well as your family.” I continued.

“I know but as of this time, we will just go with the flow and comply to what our parents wanted.” He answered.

I stare at him and he curved a smile to me. There are lots of questions in my head but I decided to just keep it inside.

“Well, I think we should change location.” he stated and grab his phone in his pocket.  “This !” he mumbled.

It really ! I hope Krystal won’t regret if Amber decide to give up what he have for her. Once this guy made up his mind, I don’t think there is someone who will be able to change it.

"Am, how long are you going to continue doing this?" I asked him curiously while we are waiting for his friends in one restaurant.

"Pretty soon. The ending our our story is already coming."he replied to me with a faint smile.

"Are you fine with it?"I questioned him.

"Of course! I don't want to be someone else burden and hindrance of happiness." he answered.

"But she is your happiness right?"

"Her happiness is what matters most to me, Noona." he continued with gentle voice and smile

"That's why you will not going to pursue yours?" I retorted and he shook his head.

"Do you remember when you asked me once what is my lifetime happiness when we were kids? You said that if we won't be able to fulfilled it, we won't die in peace but rather die with regrets."

"Yeah! I asked it to Krystal too. She answered her lifetime happiness is to get married to her prince." I stated and chuckled when I recalled it. "And yours..."

"Is to make her happy forever."he stated. "I'm still fulfilling it, right? So I will still die without regret."he continued with a smirk.

"In a way that !"I replied to him but he just scoffed.
