AMBER's POV

Today is the day my singlehood will end. I'm here in one restaurant with my family. We are going to meet the family of my instant fiancée. Yap, my parents forced me to marry their family friends daughter.

"Are you excited to meet your future-in-laws, Am?" my sister Jackie asked me.

"I'm very excited that I could die." I answered sarcastically and fake a smile. She just laugh on me.

"You will surely die in happiness, dork!" she replied giving me her knowing look and grinned. I just rolled my eyes on her.

"Are they coming? We have been here like an hour ago. I want to rest." I complained to my parents.

"They are on their way here. You better behave yourself." Dad answered with a stern voice and glared on me.

I can't say no to them about this matter. They threaten me to cut me off and kick me out if in case I refused. I won't let that to happen. Money is the most important to me right now so that is why, I need to comply.

"Honey, treat your future fiancee well, okay?" Mom said to me.

"You don't have to tell him that Mom. He will surely treat her well." Jacki said with a sly smile.

I furrowed my brows to her. I start to suspect that she knows who my fiancee is.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" she asked me and chuckled.

"Do you know who am I going to marry?" I questioned her curiously.

"What will I get in return for answering you?"she retorted which made scrunched my nose.

"You always asked something in return if I asked you something." I said to her and it made her laugh.

"Well, that's how it works to me. If you want to know the answer, offer something in return." she answered me with a sly smile.

"Tsech! Nevermind!" I said to her in annoyance.

"They're here."Mom said in delight looking at the couple who just enter the restaurant.

I raised my brows when I saw them. I thought it will be eitherAmerican or Chinese family but surprisingly, it's Korean. Dad got up from his seat to welcome them. I and my sister greeted them politely and it made me wonder why their daughter is not with them.

"You're taller than me now Amber." Mr. Jung told me which made me furrowed my brows.

"Krystal wasn't able to come with us because she's not feeling well." Mrs. Jung said with an apologetic smile.

"It's okay. They can always meet in other days."Mom answered her.

"Auntie, is Jessica coming?"my sister asked her casaully and I feel left out.

"Unfortunately not. She have a test today and she can't miss it." Mrs. Jung answered.

"I will meet her later then." Jackie said with her smile.

Jessica and Krystal, these names do sound familiar to me but I can't recall who they are. They talk about some stuff about the engagement. We will get married after we graduate college. I got bored on listening to them so I didn't pay attention anymore.

"Are you okay with that, Am?"Jackie asked me which brought me back to them.

They were all looking at me and I'm sure Dad will kill me once he will notice that I wasn't paying attention to them.

"Yeah, I'm fine with it." I answered with a smile.

"That's great! I will enroll you in the same school that Krystal is attending in Korea and you will live together." Dad spoke which made me widened my eyes.

Aish! Now it's too late for me to take that back. I think I don’t have any other choice but to just go there. What did I do wrong that I got punished like this?

KRYSTAL’s POV

I’m upset that my parents engage me to someone else. I know that our company is suffering from bankruptcy but it isn’t right to use me to save the company. I thought the reason why they asked me to come in America is because they want me to spend their time with me. Only my Unnie is cheering me.  I decided to go back to Korea as soon as possible. I want to get away from them.

“Thanks for sending me off, Unnie.” I said to her and hug her.

“Have a safe flight, Soojung.”she replied and we broke our hug.

I feel lonely when I board the plane alone. But I’m excited to go back to Korea. I looked for my seat and I groaned when I saw that it is a guy who will sit next to me. He is leaning back on his seat, with his eyes close and listening to his ipod. I think he is asleep so I sat down carefully to prevent him from waking him up.

“I hope this guy won’t annoy me.”I mumbled.

Most of the guy that becomes my seatmate always annoys me or hit on me. Whether it is young or old and  Asian or not. I open one book to read to get rid of the boredom that I felt. I got surprise when the guy who is sitting beside me, lean his head on my shoulder. I push his head back on its original position slowly.

“Stay put.”I mumbled softly.

I lean back and relax myself but the guy lean back his head on my shoulder and I think he is doing it on purpose this time. To my annoyance, I pushed his head off my shoulder and it made him wake up. He opened his eyes groggily and blinks it twice before he met my eyes.

“If you lean your head again on my shoulder, I will cut it off!” I threaten him with a stern voice and glared on him.

He looked at me with furrowed brows and glance on my shoulder. “I’d rather lean my head on the window than on your bony shoulder.” He said with sarcasm which made me drop my jaw-open.

This guy has a nerve to insult me! I looked at him with narrowed eyes but he just ignored me and closed his eyes again.
