When closing time came, you stayed outside the shop to wait for the guys. You and Seri sat on the pavement with Draco and Kirsten on your laps.

“Aigooo~ Let mommy fix these first! It’s getting cold already!”  you zipped their jackets all the way up and propped their hoods as well.

“Mom! Look!” Draco pointed up.

You looked at the night sky which was filled by twinkling stars. The one thing that caught his attention however was the full moon. It hung high in the sky, a perfect silver disk, shining brightly in the darkness of the night.

“Uwaaaa~ Yeppeoda!” you beamed.

“Pretty my !” Seri exclaimed. “More like creepy!” she shivered.

Before you can continue debating, the guys came out. Suho picked up Draco first, then you. Kris also took his little girl from your sister. “Aigooo~ Come to daddy TenTen!”

Kai came to Seri and pulled her up. “Gaja!”

When you thought you’ll all be walking home, the rest of the guys lined up horizontally on the street. Some of them tied their shoes, while the other crouched. “Whoever reaches last will wash the dishes!” Xiumin announced.

“Mom! I wanna join!” Draco struggled in Suho’s arms. “Please? Dad???”

You easily gave up at the sight of them begging. “Fine! But babe, watch Draco! Araseo?” you warned.

“Yup!” Suho high fived the boy, and faced Kris. “Aren’t you joining?”

Kris then turned to you. “Can I?”

‘They must be bored with their lives! Pft!’ you rolled your eyes and took Kirsten. “Whatever! But TenTen is staying with me... Girls should be lady like and sophisticated. Right baby?” you flipped your hair, she giggled.

Kekemato was already covered by her ninja suit when she tugged your jeans.

“Yes Keke?” she shook her head. “Huh?” you grew curious and she just kept shaking frantically. “I think we should teach you how to talk soon…” you chuckled and watched the guys take their positions.

‘What’s wrong Keke?’ Kirsten looked down to her.

‘I think we should stay with your dads… It doesn’t feel safe at all!’ she said.

You noticed Kirsten struggling from you clutch and reaching out to Kris.

Next thing you know, the guys disappeared like smoke. “GOOO!!!” Xiumin’s thundered in the darkness.

“So much for daddy, TenTen! He’s probably at home by now…” you sighed.

“At least we have our alone time together.” Seri said when her boys also left with the pack.

“Yeah…” you started walking and the little girl rested her chin on your shoulder. “How’s school?”

“So so…” she stretched her arms out, breathing in the cool mist. “Aaahhhh~ I heard about the interview by the way. How did it go?”

“Painful!” you complained. “But at least I found one before it ended…”

You recounted the events to your sister and took your time strolling in the middle of the road. It was empty as usual since the older folks in that part of the area are either asleep or having dinner.

Trailing you from behind is a very alert bunny. Kekemato’s senses have been completely up ever since you stepped out of the bakeshop. She perked her ears with every noise, narrowed her eyes in every direction, and flared her nose to pick up scents.

“…and I think Sehun already have the hots for Yeonjae!” you chuckled.

“He never learns…” Seri sighed.

Without warning, Kirsten suddenly shifted to look over your shoulder to her pet.

‘TENTEN!!! WE NEED TO GET OUTTA HERE!!!’ Kekemato walked backwards, keeping her eyes on the road.

‘Huh? Wae?’ she wondered.

‘Something’s coming straight at us! And it’s FAST!’ she said and quickly turned to look up to her. ‘You can fly right?’ the little girl nodded. ‘Then GO! Take your mom outta here! I’ll take care of Seri!’ she said.

Kirsten suddenly slipped out of your grasp and pulled your hand as she floated. “MA!!!” she screamed.

“Yes baby? Wanna play as well? You should’ve told me earlier so we could’ve joined daddy and the guys!” you laughed and staggered while she pulled you hard.

“NOOO!!!” she raged.

That alone caught you off guard. Kirsten was noticeably angry and a lot worse when she throws a tantrum. “Okay! Okay! I’m running… See?” you jogged.

Kekemato went behind your sister and violently pushed her legs.

“Keke? Wae?” Seri kept wobbling while moving forward.

“Just play along sis!” you said.

You failed to notice that you were actually jogging while being pulled by a floating baby, and although Seri was walking, her pace was a lot quicker given the push she’s getting from a rabbit.

Halfway through the neighborhood, you stopped when your ears caught rustling sounds. It seemed like claws scratching against the asphalt from a galloping animal, a huge animal.

You turned and saw nothing but street lights and dumpsters. ‘Ehh?’

“MAAAA!!!” Kirsten pulled your hand again.

“Yes baby… I’m coming…” you laughed.

Before making another step, Kekemato walked a few steps away from you and suddenly pulled out a futuristic silver plasma rifle. ‘Hope this works!’

So there she was, a bunny in the middle of the road, standing in front of two girls and a baby, with feet firmly planted on the ground, tiny arms gripping on a weapon and not even sure if it’s good enough to protect her owners.

“H-Holy ! Where the hell did that come from?” Seri pointed.

“This isn’t good at all Seri...” you turned and grabbed your floating daughter. “RUUUNNNN!!!”

“!” Seri hissed.

‘KEKE!!!’ Kirsten screamed.

‘Just go! I can take care of myself!’ she yelled.

Kekemato proved to be an equal match and distraction after slowing down the target. She fired a stream of extremely hot plasma in different angles when her target proved to be very agile and fast. Her shots landed where the animal would leap and land: walls, roofs, lampposts, everywhere.

You took a quick glance and your eyes grew big at the sight of a huge animal pursuing the tiny bunny, hungry predator versus outsized prey. All four feet were off the ground together in each stride and were engines pumping his speed. Sharp fangs were completely drawn, ready to cut through some flesh in a snap. “Oh my God!” you gasped.

“MOM!!!” Kirsten shouted.

It snapped you back and increased your pace.

Your calves burned, yet all you can think of was everyone’s safety. Those days that you woke up early for a jog was put to good use. ‘Gotta get home! Fast!’

Seri was falling behind and breathing heavily. Although she fought hard to keep up, she started to drift away.

 “UNNIIEEEEE!!!” she screamed.

Seri tripped and fell, and was reaching out a hand.

Kekemato caught up with her and firmly stood with weapon at the ready.

With Kirsten secured in your arms, you turned back to your sister.

You reached out a free hand and pulled her up with all your strength. “C’mon!”

Seri pushed herself off the ground despite the cut on her knee, but Kekemato bump against her when she walked backwards.

“!” you hissed.

 The animal walked cautiously and gracefully straight towards you. It was a wolf, a huge wolf. It was probably the biggest animal you’ve seen in your existence.

At that rate, you knew there’s no longer escaping. Even if you run, it will still outrun you. Even if you fight, it will still devour you into pieces.

You kneeled, pulled Kekemato and Seri closer to your body, kept a secure arm around Kirsten, and activated your protective shield.

The wolf circled the invisible barrier. 10 feet in length, has brown and gray fur. Smoke escaped its snout as it breathes. Eyes were dark, nearly black.

All your eyes followed the hungry animal, but it only gazed at one single target, you.

The wolf stopped right in front of you, burning you with a stare, thirsty.

The deep flaming eyes seemed too intelligent for an animal, seeing through your soul, ready to rip it to shreds.

It was completely drawn into your blood like a magnet. It smelled so good and overwhelmingly attractive. ‘Mmmmm! Your blood!’

‘Please don’t hurt us!’ Kirsten said.

Its head turned slightly at the sound of the little girl's gasp. They stared at each other this time, and you hugged her tightly.

The wolf was stunned at the encounter. A human is actually having a conversation with him. ‘Y-You’re… talking to m-me?’

You saw Kirsten nodding. “Baby?” you pressed her head on your chest.

She looked up to you with a faint smile.

Given his animal instincts, the wolf acted like he’s supposed to. No reason, no logic, no mercy. ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about!’ then it shifted back to you. ‘Your scent! Your eyes!’ you notice his gaze going down your chest. ‘Your heart! I want it!’

The wolf flinched when Kirsten touched its snout with her tiny finger. ‘Please… Not my mommy…’

You suddenly felt loosening your grip around your daughter’s body. Your head started to spin, and your body gradually lost energy. ‘No Sehee! Keep it together!’

One thing that you failed to perfect is how to let your barrier stay longer or even render it limitless.

“UNNIEEE!!!” Seri shook you.

“Se…Seri…” you panted.

The wolf’s eyes grew excited and could no longer wait to drink your delectable blood.

It suddenly took a giant leap over your heads.

“SEHEEE!!!”

“SERRRIII!!!”

Voices came to your direction accompanied by scrambling footsteps.

“LUHAN OPPA!!! OVER HERE!!!” Seri shouted.

Kai teleported in front of your vanishing barrier and kneeled. “Hey! Sehee! Snap out of it!” he then tapped your cheeks. “! Hyuunngg!!!”

When the boys came, Yongguk took Kirsten while Kris scooped you off the ground. “K-Kris… T-TenTen…”

“She’s safe babe… We’re here now! I’m taking you home, okay?” he stood and gave Suho a glare. “Get that bastard!

Exo-K’s leader nodded and signaled for his team to move out.

Kai and Zelo took Seri home where Xiumin and Chen stayed to look after Draco.

Daehyun clapped twice and Kekemato hopped in his arms. BAP patted her head afterwards. “Good job Keke! But we will still train you more, araseo?” Himchan said.

She nodded.
