Lu Han almost choked himself when he heard the word that came out from Minyoung’s mouth. She seemed a little embarrassed to bring up such topic.

 

“I understand Lulu, it’s very difficult. But holding hands, clinging to your arms or kiss on the cheek, won’t be too much, will it?” she said with her eye-smile.

 

If you only know, but I don’t want to take advantage of you. He thought. Honestly, he would like that. Who wouldn’t want to be a boyfriend of this beautiful girl? But he went back to reality that she was actually thinking that he’s a gay.

 

“B-but, I think I can’t do that…” he acted to refuse.

 

“I know. But don’t worry, we won’t do it if not necessary. But I know you also understand that our act will be more believable if we do a little of those, right?”

 

Lu Han nodded and just agreed with her. Suddenly, Minyoung sat next to him.

 

“Let’s practice!” she exclaimed.

 

“Mwo?!” he furrowed his eyes with confusion.

 

 

“Let’s practice. Practice makes perfect, right?” She quickly put her right hand on the table, “hold my hand!” she demanded.

 

Lu Han was utterly surprised but he knew that her demand wasn’t really hard to do. He started to hold her right hand with his left and their fingers tightly intertwined.

 

“Very good!” She praised him as she thought that he easily did the first task, “…now, put your arms on my shoulder.”

 

 

Lu Han slowly released his left hand from holding hers and gently put his left arms to her shoulder. They started to be comfortable with the position so Minyoung couldn’t help but smile because Lu Han was doing everything smoothly. She didn’t expect that. With their current position, Minyoung slowly turned to face Lu Han and he did same. With a small distance between their faces, Minyoung suddenly uttered the last step…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Now, kiss me…”

 

Lu Han eyes almost popped out when he heard her last demand. Do I really to have to do it? Their eyes met and Lu Han couldn’t avoid the fact that he liked what he’s seeing.

 

Oh gosh, I didn’t realize that he looks so cute in a closer view. Yah! Minyoung, he’s gay! Brush it off! Minyoung’s mind, on the other hand, was in a middle of a war. Even before she could move back, Lu Han started leaning in. Closer and closer.

 

 

But suddenly…

 

 

 

 

 

“Ms. Park, here’s your ordered dessert!” a waitress cut them off.

 

The two quickly pulled away and Minyoung just nervously chuckled as she ran to the waitress and took their orders. She went back to their seat as she tried to her face which was obviously blushing because of too much embarrassment. While Lu Han just kept on clearing his throat. Pabo Lu Han! If you keep on acting like this, she will suspect your act of being a gay.

 

Another awkward silence stood between them. Lu Han couldn’t take it anymore so he decided to bring up a different topic.

 

“Why did you live in Busan?” he asked.

 

She budged when she heard his unexpected question.

 

“I chose to live there for a year. When I reached my 20^th birthday, I asked my parent to let me live independently.”

 

“Why did you have to do that?”

 

“Because I just wanted to. Many people say that I have everything in this world. But they’re wrong. I grew up with many bodyguards around me, media people have been following my story, and my parents didn’t let me go out with different people especially those who aren’t from elite family. They’ve been so strict with me not until I told them what I really wanted.”

 

Lu Han intently listened to her life story.

 

“I hate the fact that some people think that we – people from elite society – are arrogant and rude. When I lived in Busan, in the district of Sasang-gu, I’ve never received such VIP treatment, they treated me as one of them – and that felt so good.” She smiled as she reminisced her experiences. “I worked as a community teacher and being with those kids was the best part of living in Busan.”

 

Minyoung took a sip on her drink before she continued sharing her story, “To be honest with you, I’ve never done such things before, like paying the entire salon for a day or renting the entire restaurant. This is the first time I did it because I badly needed to.” She chuckled when she realized the she hadn’t done anything this much before.

 

She’s really different. I’ve never met such a humble rich girl before. This was what on Lu Han’s head as he listened to Minyoung. But she started to notice that Lu Han had been staring at her.

 

“I think it’s my turn to ask. Why did you agree on this?”

 

Lu Han bit his lips when she asked him suddenly, “Because I have a dream to fulfill. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity and I don’t want this chance to slip away. So even though this is difficult, I have to do it because like you, I badly need it.” He explained.

 

Minyoung just nodded, “Well, whatever that is, I will support you in every way and you can mark my word for that.” She gave him an assuring smile. Lu Han’s face brightened up so he unknowingly squeezed her hand. Minyoung was taken aback with his actions but when Lu Han was about to let go of it, she caught it and held his hands tighter.

 

“You’re starting to be more comfortable with me now. That’s a good thing. We can do this, right?”

 

Being unable to explain what he was feeling while she was holding his hands, Lu Han just smiled, “Yes. We can do this. Fighting!”

After spending the entire day of discussing the plans or most likely, getting to know each other, the two finally parted of the ways.

 

When Minyoung got home, she immediately called Juri to update her.

 

“So how is he?” Juri asked.

 

“I wish you were here, if you saw him, you wouldn’t believe he’s a guy. He really looks like a girl and acts like one.”

 

“Jinjja?”

 

“Ne! He was actually wearing a very cute dress and wig when I first met him, so I wouldn’t even suspect that he’s a really a “guy”. But when we did the make-over, I was actually shocked.”

 

“Waeyo?”

 

“Because… he looks…cute.” She stuttered with each word.

 

“Yah! Park Minyoung! I think you have forgotten the reason why you chose to have a “gay” pretender instead of a straight one, huh?”

 

“Of course not! It’s just a compliment you know. He’s just really cute or pretty. If you’re here, I’m pretty sure that you’d be the one saying these words. You might actually like him.” And she just laughed with the thought.

 

“Hey, hey! Stop that… but is he really cute?”

 

Minyoung just kept on laughing with her best friend’s sudden interest. “You’re really funny Juri-ah! I’ll just call you back, araji? Annyeong!”

 

She laid her back to the bed and closed her eyes as she sighed, “Everything will be fine… Hwaiting Park Minyoung!”

 

Suddenly her phone rang and too lazy to check who it was, she just answered it right away.

 

“Yoboseyo?”

 

“Hello babe!”

 

Babe? Who’s this guy?

 

“Who’s this?” she asked.

 

“You already forget my voice?”

 

Slowly, everything was sinking in back to Minyoung’s system as she got up from the bed.

 

“Wu Fan??”

 

“Bingo! Did you miss me?”

 

Minyoung couldn’t help but scoffed with too much annoyance, “…and how did you get my number?”

 

“Do you really wonder how?” Minyoung could sense Kris’ smirk on the other line so she just yielded and asked him what needed.

 

“Well, I just called to remind you about our date tomorrow evening.” Kris said.

 

“Date? Wait, I can’t remember that we set another date.”

 

“You didn’t but that should be given since we started it yesterday…”

 

Aish! This guy – he’s seriously getting in to my nerves. “Mr. Wu, you don’t have to waste your time because I’m not coming.”

 

“Alright then…” Kris expected that she would refuse so he already prepared for it, “…I’ll just let your parents know that you didn’t agree –”

 

“— wait, what? What do you mean my parents?”

 

Kris knows that Minyoung is an obedient daughter that she couldn’t refuse any demand of her parents.

 

“Don’t you know that it was your parents and my dad who always set up our date? And your mom even called me just to remind me about it. We seem to be getting pretty close now.” He said with a huge grin on his face.

 

Minyoung could have thrown her phone because of too much annoyance but she controlled herself. She heaved a deep sigh before finally giving in. She didn’t want to stress her parents especially her dad who went on a vacation in Paris.

 

“Araseo, araseo! Just stop it, okay! I’ll be there. Bye!” and she quickly hang up. Kris just giggled because he couldn’t wait to be with her again tomorrow.

 

 

“I thought this day is already great. I guess, I was wrong – I’m gonna be with the arrogant player again!” she screamed as she buried her face on her pillow.

I just want to share something. From this day up to December, my sched would be pretty much packed. I recently joined this dance group that will compete in a dance competition on our Christmas Party at work. Because of that, I might spend most of my time in our rehearsals. I want to apologize in advanced because there might be some times that I wouldn't be able to update.

But I know you guys understand, right? I hope you guys would stay with me until the end of this story. I already finished writing my story line (but not the chapters itself) and I could say that this one will be longer than my first Lu Han story. :D
