Ft. Dunkin Donuts
The Key SolutionBefore actually heading to the mall, you thought it'd be nice to treat yourself to a drink. Despite it being winter, you wanted to warm yourself up with a nice cup of hot chocolate. You knew there was a Dunkin Donuts near the mall and decided to go that way. You never really ordered anything from there so you decided it would be best to start rehearsing what you wanted to say.
"Hi there, may I have a cup of -"
No. Lame.
"Yo wassup can I get -"
Nope.
"Can I have a cup of hot chocolate?"
That sounded slightly better.
You smiled a bit to yourself before entering the store. With your mind set, you headed to the counter where there was only one other person in line. Minutes passed as you continued to stand in line. What was taking him so long? You stepped over to the side to get a better look of what was going on. The person in front of you was holding a long list of what he wanted to order. He was still talking to the cashier,
"I want four boxes of chocolate donuts, and five strawberry." The man was saying. You felt your jaw drop. It would take you weeks to even finish two. "Oh and give me three boxes of glazed, my kids loves eating those."
You could tell the cashier was having a hard time dealing with him. "Sir, why couldn't you have called and made an order? T-this is so much!" She exclaimed, throwing her hands up in the air. "If you called and made a notice beforehand, you wouldn't be holding our other customers up."
"Is delivery free?"
"Y-yes..." the cashier sighed.
With that being said, the man threw some cash onto the counter and quickly scribbled his address on a piece of paper. "I expect my order to arrive in an hour."
As soon as the man left, the cashier turned to give you an exasperated look. "Don't tell me you have a huge order to make too."
