Wedding Night
Unexpected Love
“I'm gonna go change.” I announced after I finished looking around our hotel suite. I went over to the suitcase that Kris had set down beside the bed. I rummaged through our things until I found the present Chen had gotten for us. Grabbing some shower items, I held everything tightly in my chest and began walking towards the bathroom. Before I could get anywhere near the bathroom, Kris pulled me back gently by the arm.
“Where do you think you're going?” Kris asked in a low voice.
“To change.” I simply answered.
“Shouldn't we....change together?” He suggested, hands making its way around my waist.
“What? No!” I protested and pushed him away.
“Why not? We're married now.” He complained, reaching out for me again but I quickly evaded his attempts.
“That doesn't mean we have to change together!” I yelled, running into the bathroom before he could catch me.

“Sweetie, what's taking you so long?” Kris gently knocked on the bathroom door and asked. “Do you need help taking off your dress?”
“N-no!” I stuttered. “I'm fine.”
“You sure?” He worriedly asked.
“Yeah.” I answered.
“Okay, just holler if you need anything.” He told. I could hear the hesitation and concern in his voice before I heard him walking away from the door.
After taking a quick shower to rid of the make up that I had on my face the whole day and the sweat that accumulated on my body from dancing, I changed into a couple's pajama set that Chen had gifted us and hung my wedding dress on the door. I shyly exited the bathroom, feeling slightly uncomfortable since my half of the set was a short night gown. I carefully closed the door behind me and walked forward into the bedroom.
“I'm done.” Kris, who was laying in bed patiently waiting for me, got up and sent me an adoring smile when he saw what I was wearing.
“You look cute.” He commented, fingers slyly brushing against my bare thigh as he the ends of the dress. He looked at my face, gauging my reaction, only for his smile to widen when he saw my blush. I stepped
