Three weeks passed in the blink of an eye. It was still unbelievable to think that Kris and I were now an item. Everyone on campus knew of course, news of us spread around like rapid fire. I guess this is the effect of dating a popular boy. Of course, just like when everyone found out about our living situation, fan girls were tripping. They didn't chase me around like before, I'm thinking Kris had something to do with that but the gossip was crazy. And even if three weeks passed by, I still wasn't used to nor did I enjoy all the attention we were receiving

“What's wrong?” Kris asked from beside me, staring down at me with concern when he noticed how uncomfortable I became.

The two of us were currently in the library, I was working on a history paper while Kris just came for a visit. He actually had a class right now but he wanted to see me so he decided to take a quick 'bathroom' break.

“Um.” I glanced around, feeling extremely awkward from all the eyes that were on the two of us. Kris followed my gaze and frowned. He looked back at me and gave me a warm smile, “It's okay, just ignore them.” I tried to do just that but it became impossible when Kris wrapped his arms around my waist, resting his head on my shoulder. That actions seemed to attract more attention and no doubt judgmental thoughts.

I slightly nudged his side, “They're still staring.” Kris lifted his head and looked around, giving everyone a penetrating glare, “Yah, stop staring!”

“Kris!” I hissed in embarrassment at his sudden outburst. He gave me a cheeky grin and kissed my temple, “They're not staring anymore.” I looked up to check, sure enough everyone had adverted their gazes elsewhere, too scared to go against Kris. “Thanks.”

Kris sighed. “As much as I would like to stay and spend time with my cute, little girlfriend.” He started, affectionately squeezing my cheeks, “I need to get going. I've been gone from class for ten minutes now and I shouldn't miss anymore.” He got up from his seat and gave me a sweet kiss. “I'll see you after this.” He told. “Don't work too hard, okay?”

I nodded my head, “Have fun in class.” Kris nodded his head as well, giving me one last kiss before walking off.

“How can Kris even go out with her?” Some girl that was a few tables away from me whispered to her friends when Kris left.

“Yeah, she's so short.” Another added. My lip twitched in annoyance at their comments.

“I know and she isn't even that pretty.” I gripped onto my pencil tightly, pressing down hard onto the paper until the lead broke. I furiously pushed the top of the pencil, dispensing more lead out s
