Your POV

I angrily sat on my bed with a frown etched on my face. I can't my believe my brother entrusted me with that jerk for two whole months. I'm better off staying alone. I crossed my arms and thought back to the situation that occurred earlier. I wonder how Taemin is doing? The yelling must have scared him pretty bad. He was never the best at handling arguments.

Lost in my thoughts, I slightly jumped when my phone buzzed in my pocket.

Taemin's name flickered on the screen.

“~~~!” Taemin's panicked voice rang from across the line. “Are you okay?”

“Of course I am.” I replied. “What about you? I know you get a bit uncomfortable when people start yelling.”

“I'm fine.” He answered. “~~~-ah.” 

“Hm.” I hummed, playing with the decoration on my pillow.

“Is everything okay?...with Kris.” He softly asked.

“Uh, yeah.” I uncertainly answered.

“He....he isn't doing anything bad to you is he?...Like you know?” He carefully asked, then hiccuping after wards.

“Of course he isn't! Why would you even think that Taemin?!” I scold, knowing he only hiccups when he has strange thoughts.

“I can't help it!” Taemin exclaimed. “I don't trust Kris hyung, he's strange.”

"You're strange Taemin. " I replied but sighed when I heard him huff on the other line, “Taeminnie, I've known Kris since we were kid. No matter how annoying and erted he can be, he would never do something so horrible. So don't worry too much, okay?”

“If you say so.” He muttered. “But if he tries anything and I mean anything. Make sure to tell me.”

“Got it. I'll talk to you tomorrow Taeminnie. I'm gonna give Changmin oppa a call before I go to bed.” I told.

“Kay. Sleep well.” Taemin replied and hung up.

Now to call Changmin, I wonder if he's busy right now? Hopefully he isn't since I haven't talked to him for a while. I dialed his number and waited for a few second for him to pick up but it went straight to voice mail. With a pout I ended the call, deciding to just send him a text instead.

Satisfied with that, I went to get ready for bed.

I stood at the top of the stairs, contemplating on what I had to do to avoid Kris.

Okay, if I run out through the living room fast enough, then maybe Kris won't see me and I won't have to talk to him. Then I can meet Taemin like I planned earlier and after, all I need to do is avoid Kris at all cost. Yeah, s
