“Jessica-ssi?” you approached her. If Jessica was here, where was Donghae-oppa?

“Ne, eonni. Don’t use honorifics. Just call me Jessica, okay?” She smiled sweetly. She’s so beautiful. No wonder why Donghae can’t get over with her.

“Ah, sure,” you smiled at her, too. You scrambled to your bag for the keys. When you found it, you opened the door and invited her to come in.

You both entered the room. “You can sit here,” you said as you motioned her to sit at the sofa. You sat down, too. “What brings you here?”

“Ahh, eonni, I’m just curious if the rumor is true.”

“Rumor? What rumor?” You were puzzled.

“You don’t know? It’s all over the internet.” She seemed to be shocked when you didn’t know. Of course, you already knew. Thanks to Taecyeon for that.

Your heart thumped a bit, “If you’re talking about the ‘unrehearsed kiss’, it’s nothing.”

“So, you’re not really dating?”

You shook your head, “Don’t worry Jessica, we’re just friends.”

She smiled, “Eonni, can you look over him for me?”

“You still like him, don’t you?”

“Ne, I do like him, but I love someone else,” she confessed.

You couldn’t think of what would be the right words to tell her. You just kept quiet.

“Eonni, I know this is complicated. But as you can see, I like him and I still care for him,” she explained.

“Yeah, this so complicated,” you agreed as you nodded with your eyes on the floor.

She smiled apologetically. “Eonni, jebal,” she pleaded.

“Why don’t you just go back to him?” you suggested.

“I can’t,” she scratched her head lightly. “I can’t leave my boyfriend now.”

Another pause.

“Look, Jessica, what if someone noticed you were dating with another guy? The whole world knows you’re with Donghae-oppa. Don’t you think it wouldn’t hurt him when the scandal goes out?”

“I’m planning to announce our break-up when I’m ready. When my feelings for him go away, I’ll announce it to the public. But not now, I’m not yet ready. Please, for the meantime, watch over him.”

“How can I watch over him?”

“I know this is hard and demanding, but, can you prevent him to fall in love with another girl?”

You guzzled, “What?!”

She bit her lip, “Eonni, you’re just going to stop or brainwash him whenever you’ll feel like he’s going to confess or will do something romantic for a girl.”

“I don’t think I can do it,” you said while shaking your head.

“Eonni, please,” she pleaded.

You paused before saying “Okay, I’ll try.”

She smiled widely, “Thank you, eonni! I owe you this one. And please keep this as a secret.” She hugged you and stood up. You stood up, too. “I’m going now, Eonni. Thank you so much.”

“It’s okay. You’re like my dongsaeng now. I should help you. But fix this matter as soon as possible, okay?”

“I’ll try, eonni,” she promised.
