Hyunseung’s P.O.V

It was just a normal day at work when all of a sudden, I was asked to come into Mr. Wu, the head teacher’s office.

“You may be aware of the new CCTV cameras that have been built in around the school campus”

I nodded my head “However, I do not fully understand why they have been brought in” I lied.

“Well, I’ve recently been hearing rumours about a teacher and student relationship in this school. The cameras are there to catch the culprits”

He was talking as if loving someone was a crime and those who dared to disobey the teacher and student relationship rule was a dirty ert who needed to be behind bars. *What an irritating man*

“Teacher and student relationship?” I tried to sound surprised.

He nodded “Your name and a certain Miss Kim Hae Sung was brought up several times whenever I heard such rumours”

“Are you implying that Miss Kim and I are having a relationship?”

“Not particularly you and Miss Kim however, I am quite suspicious over the fact that the two of you are very close with each other, almost too close”

“I can assure you that nothing is happening between me and Miss Kim”

“You tutor Miss Kim after school, is that correct?”

I nodded.

“Do you mind if I come in today?”

“No, not at all. You’re more than welcome” I smiled.

“Of course, I don’t believe in these rumours, I just want you to know that. The cameras are only there to keep the education board happy”

*If he doesn’t believe them then why is he coming in to one of my one on one tutoring with Hae Sung?!* “Good to know” I softly smiled “Those rumours were probably conjured up by some silly pupil trying to earn some attention”

He nodded and paused before speaking “Well, you best be on your way. Third period will start any minute now” Mr. Wu gave a bitter smile and returned to sit behind his desk.

“Umm...before I leave” I turned around and walked up to his desk *I hope this still works* I leaned closer towards him until our faces were only an inch apart.

“Look into my eyes”  I ordered bluntly.

He gave me a funny look “That is a strange request Mr. Ja-”

“Just look into them” I hissed harshly as I cut off his words.

“O-Okay” he stuttered and his eyes were focused onto mine.

“I want you to forget about this rumour. Believe that it never existed, okay?”

“What are you-“

“I said forget about the rumours”

“How can I-“

“Forget it” I muttered as I stood up straight again *I guess my hypnotising no longer has any effect*

“Mr. Jang, are you feeling alright?”

“Stress must be getting to me” I chuckled nervously whilst rubbing the back of my neck“Sorry about that” I bowed awkwardly and left the office as fast as I could.

Hae Sung’s P.O.V

I walked into Hyunseung oppa’s classroom to see Mr. Wu, the head teacher, standing next to Hyunseung’s desk.

“M-Mr. Wu” I bowed as I walked in.

“Don’t mind me, I’m just here to watch to see if Mr. Jang is doing his job correctly” the room’s atmosphere all of a sudden became tense as Mr. Wu shot some glares at Hyunseung.

Hyunseung clasped both of his hands together and smiled “Shall we start?”

I nodded and took my usual seat, on Hyunseung’s desk, opposite his seat. Mr. Wu, for some reason looked displeased and took a seat next to me.

“I think we should start where we left off” he pulled out a few worksheets “You still aren’t getting the hang of Trigonometric graphs and functions so we’ll go into further detail today”

I nodded. He continued to talk about functions and all kinds of nonsense which made no sense to me. Everything that came out of his mouth soon became incomprehensible and I resorted to just watching him speak and nodding occasionally.

“Let’s get on to do some real questions” he pushed a worksheet in front of me and that’s when I realised he had stopped talking about trigonometric crap.

He left me to my own devices to figure out some questions. *Okay...a number before the sin means...a movement in the direction of the y axis...which means...nothing at all* I thought to myself feeling frustrated as the numbers on the paper turned into a muddled up mess.

I looked up to see Mr. Wu watching closely to every move and word Hyunseung made and I was curious as to why he was even there.  He had said he watching to see if Hyunseung was doing his job correctly but why waste the time doing so? He was hired because he was a good teacher right? So there was no point inspecting him.

*Unless...he’s still suspicious about our relationship*

FLASHBACK

“Please be truthful” Mr. Wu sat in front of me, waiting for me to speak.

“No, I don’t have any feelings for Mr. Jang”

“And you’ve never gone out on a date with him?”

I nodded with a confused look on my face.

“Okay, thank you for coming in. You may leave now”

I stood up, bowed and walked out of his office. *What an irritating man* I thought to myself as I made my way to class.

END OF FLASHBACK

*He’s trying a little too hard to find out the truth...aren’t the CCTV cameras enough for him?*

I quickly looked back down at my work and didn’t think much more about the situation.

An hour had slowly passed and the session ended. Mr. Wu stood up and walked over to Hyunseung and started talking to him. I took that chance to quietly slip away and make my way home.

Hyunseung’s P.O.V

“I may have been too quick to judge you Mr. Jang. I’ll be truthful, I did partly believe in those rumours and I was stupid to do so”

“May I ask who your sources were?”

“Mainly Hye Mi and Hye Ri”

A laugh almost escaped my lips.

“Is there something wrong?” Mr. Wu could see my scornful look and asked.

“Well, may I point out that both those girls have a large resentment for Hae Sung and Hye Mi is known around the school for sleeping with several teachers to get her grades whilst Hye Ri is famous for her rumours and gossip”

“I see” a concerning frown appeared on his face “I don’t think I should be investigating you but those two instead. I really had no idea about Hye Mi and her promiscuous activities around school. Do you perhaps know anymore about this?”

“Sorry, that’s all the information I know” I shrugged.

“Well, thank you for your contribution. I’m terribly sorry about accusing you of such nonsensical things”

“There’s no need to apologise. You were just doing your job” I smiled.

“I think I’ll take my leave. I don’t want to be in your way” he bowed and I did the same. He walked out and I breathed a sigh of relief.
