"She has my eyes," Nayeon said wistfully as she cradled her child in her arms," She's going to be so pretty just like me." Jeongyeon rolled her eyes as Nayeon continued to compliment the baby. "As much as I love to hear you say stuff like this," Jeongyeon yawned," Can we do it in the morning? I'm exhausted." Nayeon narrowed her eyes as Jeongyeon turned off the lamp on the bedside table. Jihyo made a non-commital noise of agreement from her side of the bed. Dahyun was placed back in her crib much to Nayeon's chagrin.

"What if she wants to see me?" Nayeon whined as Jeongyeon led her oldest wife back to bed. "Then I'm sure that she'll start crying again," Jihyo said wearily. It had been quite a while since the baby had been brought home and the three mothers had not had much sleep since. Dahyun refused to make a schedule for her tears. Her crying was random and spontaneous, Jeongyeon still remembered how Dahyun had been in tears over the fact that she had dropped her toy off of the sofa only a few days ago. Dahyun was a crazy baby and her mothers had a hard time guessing what she wanted.

Last week the three of them had changed Dahyun's diaper twice, tried to put her asleep three times and attempted to feed her five times only to realise that Dahyun was crying because someone (Nayeon) had accidentally left the documentary channel on and poor baby Dahyun had watched an eagle fall out of the sky and cried because of it.

Thankfully though, after Dahyun's first  'little' tantrum, the baby didn't cry for the rest of the night. 

Jihyo woke up first the next day and immediately checked on Dahyun. The baby girl was already awake and staring at her mother with her big brown eyes as she clung to the bars on her crib. Scooping her daughter into her arms, Jihyo headed downstairs and began to give Dahyun her morning milk. She found it so funny how this little goofball would soon be an older sister. "You're gonna be a good sister aren't you?" Jihyo said as Dahyun drunk her milk. Dutifully nodding without stopping drinking
