Jeongyeon would be lying if she said that her children weren't talented. They were all so talented and it kind of scared Jeongyeon sometimes, how easily the three of them could take to an activity and excell in it. That exact thought crossed her mind as she sat in the back of an already crowded hall. Her foot tapped impatiently on the wooden floor as she waited for Dahyun to get on stage. The school had put on a show for the orchestra and a few weeks ago, Dahyun had excitedly run home (yes, run. Her sister had opted to take the bus because tehy weren't complete idiots) to tell her mothers that she had been given a solo for the show. 

Jihyo and Nayeon had wanted to come but stuff went to at work so Jeongyeon offered to record it on her phone so she could show them when they got back home. Cheers and polite applause filled the hall as Dahyun was introduced, walking onto stage and placing her music sheet on the piana in front of her. Jeongyeon's lip quirked upwards at that. At home, Dahyun had memorised it so well that she didn't need the sheet music so Jeongyeon just supposed it was a safety net in case she did somehow forget the tune.

Jeongyeon fully smiled as Dahyun softly pressed on the keys of the paino, a sorrowful tune filling the hall as people stopped to listen to it. It reminded of her when Dahyun had just started to learn how to play and the amount of sleepless nights when Dahyun would sneak down in the early hours of the morning to practice.

As the tune came to a finish, Jeongyeon couldn't help herself, her heart swelled with pride as she wiped away a stray tear that had been brought out by the sad tune while the other people stood up and clapped, cheers erupting from everybody again.

Dahyun looked so shy, a small smile on her stage as she caught Jeongyeon's proud gaze.
