Luhan woke up feeling much better. Most of his fever was gone and all that remained was a slight cough. He got up from bed slowly. On the bedside table next to him was a glass of water covered with a plate. There was a note on top of it. Luhan picked it up and looked at it. 

'I'll be back soon! If you wake up, drink some water and if you feel like it, take a short walk. Don't push yourself <3' 

He smiled at Xiumin's handwriting. The boy had spaced the words out and made it very neat. Luhan could read Korean pretty well on computers and phones but when it was handwritten, it was a bit hard to identify. Luhan did as the note said and drank the glass of water. He then walked around the room aimlessly before deciding to go downstairs. It was mid afternoon, he realized once he stepped out of the room. The top floor of the hotel came with a lot of plus points, including a gigantic window that had an ocean view. It was a beautiful sunny day. He squinted against the sunlight as he walked down the hallway to the living area. 

Watching the TV with dazed expressions were Sehun and Tao, huddled up together with popcorn between them. They both glanced up when Luhan came in. "Hyung!" Sehun said excitedly. He got up and stretched a bit. Tao got up with the popcorn in his hand, still eating from it as he looked at Luhan. "How's your fever?" Tao asked him. Luhan smiled. "Much better. I think it's gone, to be honest." He replied. Sehun nodded in understanding. "Well, Minseok hyung did take care of you really well. Chanyeol hyung as well." Sehun informed Luhan. "Really?" He asked feeling touched. "Yup! Minseok hyung and Chanyeol hyung didn't really sleep last night. They were trying to keep your head cool and kept on changing wet cloths for your head. They took shifts. In the morning, Chanyeol hyung passed out onto the bed. He's still sleeping, I think." Sehun recalled. 

Luhan smiled, he would have to thank the giant. "What about Minseok?" He asked the two boys. "I think he went to the supermarket." Tao said with a mouthful of popcorn. Luhan looked at him with a disgusted face. "Keep your mouth shut." He patted the boy's head obnoxiously. Tao, in response, opened his mouth even wider. "Ewwww." Sehun said, shivering in disgust and turning away. Tao swallowed and grinned in triumph. 

Luhan gave up on the two boys and decided to go visit Chanyeol and Baekhyun. When he opened the door to their dorm, he saw Baekhyun reading a book quietly with the light of his phone, aimed away from Chanyeol's bed. Chanyeol was sleeping soundly in his bed, soft snores escaping the boy's mouth. The curtains were drawn. Baekhyun looked up and smiled before placing a finger on his lips to tell Luhan to be silent. 

Luhan nodded and tiptoed to Baekhyun. "Hey, hyung. How are you feeling now?" Baekhyun asked, his voice soft and hushed. "Much better." Luhan replied. "I wanted to thank Chanyeol." He explained. Baekhyun raised an eyebrow. "He's sleeping." The boy pointed out. "That's why I came now." Luhan smirked. Baekhyun just rolled his eyes. "Whatever, hyung. You can't even thank your dongsaengs huh?" He asked. "But at least I know how to apologize." Luhan retorted. Baekhyun blushed. "I already apologized." The younger boy mumbled. Luhan's eyes widened. "And?" He asked. "He forgave me." Baekhyun smiled. Luhan patted his shoulder. "About time you two made up." He said happily. Baekhyun nodded and waved a goodbye, returning to his book. 

Luhan walked over to where Chanyeol was sleeping and hovered over the boy. "Chanyeol-ah! Ya! Chanyeol-ah!" He whisper shouted, shaking the boy. It usually didn't take much to wake the giant up and he was soon getting up with sleepy eyes and bed hair. "Huh?" The boy asked, his voice even deeper than normal (which was totally unfair). "Thanks for taking care of me. Sorry I was mean." Luhan said sincerely. "No problem. Can I sleep now?" Chanyeol replied and without asking for an answer, collapsed back on the bed. Luhan laughed before patting the boy's head. "Goodnight, my dongsaeng." He whispered fondly. He heard Baekhyun make gag noises behind him and cheerfully gave the puppy-like boy the middle finger. Baekhyun grimaced in response. 

Luhan left the room.

He then went to Lay's room. Lay and Chen were cuddled up together and Chen was whispering something into the older boy's ear. "Whoa! Okay, I'll leave." Luhan said before leaving the room. He heard Lay get up and call Luhan in Mandarin, frantically giving an explanation. Chen just laughed his head off, the dinosaur face appearing. Luhan knew that they hadn't been doing anything romantic, but it was fun to tease Lay. The boy was so gullible. 

He quickly ran into his room, locking the door, giggling the whole time. Once he had calmed down, he picked up his phone and texted Xiumin. 

'Where are you???? I'm bored -____-'

The reply came in 2 minutes. 'You woke up? Did you drink water? How are you feeling?' 

Luhan chuckled at the boy's concern. 'I'm fine, thanks to you <3 Now come home so I can shower you with kisses :*' 

The reply came almost instantly. 'I'm at the supermarket. I'm picking up some things. Wil be back in 10 minutes <3' 

'I'll be counting.' Luhan replied with a smile on his face. He could almost imagine Xiumin reading the text and cracking up. He would probably call Luhan a creep. Which Luhan, admittedly, was. He laid on the bed and closed his eyes. He was between the land of sleep and reality when he heard the doorbell ring. He jolted up and staggered out of the room, heading to the door of the penthouse. Kai, annoyingly got there first. He opened the door and through it walked D.O. and Xiumin. 

"Hello~~~" D.O. called out. Xiumin stepped through with a plastic bag. He just looked up when Luhan enveloped him in a hug. The shorter boy giggled into the hug and Luhan couldn't help but smile. "I missed you." Luhan whispered into the boy's ear. Xiumin grinned at Luhan. "I missed you too." He said ruffling Luhan's hair before bringing it to the boy's forehead. "Your fever seems to be gone." Xiumin said, his voice laced with relief. Luhan grinned. "Apparently, I have you to thank for that." He said before giving the boy a kiss. Xiumin smiled into the kiss and when they pulled away, Xiumin poked his cheek. "It was me and Chanyeol. He helped a lot." Xiumin reminded gently. 

"I know. I already thanked him." Luhan admitted before wrapping an arm around Xiumin's shoulder. "Now, it's your turn to be thanked." Luhan said before kissing him. "Why do I get the feeling that Minseok hyung and Chanyeol hyung were thanked differently?" Kai asked sarcastically. "I agree. I somehow doubt that Luhan hyung kissed Chanyeol." D.O. joined in. Tao snorted from where he was sat at the couch. "Thank god he didn't." Sehun called out. "One gay couple is enough." Tao agreed. 

Luhan and Xiumin both rolled their eyes simultaneously. "Stop being idiots." Luhan said before grabbing Xiumin's hand and taking him to the bedroom. Xiumin giggled, following behind. Once they were inside, Luhan began to kiss Xiumin, an open-mouthed, slobbery and sloppy kiss. They both laughed in the middle of it and had to break away. "Gross." Xiumin said poking Luhan's nose. The next time they kissed, it was much neater-ahem, nicer. Xiumin pulled at Luhan's hair. He mumbled something against Luhan's lips. "Hmm?" Luhan asked, still kissing the boy. Xiumin held up the plastic shopping bag. Luhan pulled away. "I forgot about that." Luhan said sheepishly. "I did as well." Xiumin admitted. 

He opened the plastic bag and brought out a bottle of pills. "This is for you. It's for your cough. I asked the nurse about it. She said to take it three times daily. But I know you can't take pills so I'm going to grind them into a powder and then put them in your coffee. Don't worry, there's hardly any taste." Xiumin rambled on, explaining every detail carefully to Luhan. 

Luhan couldn't help but smile at the beautiful boy in front of him. What did he do to deserve such a caring person in his life? He stopped Xiumin with a passionate kiss. Xiumin let out a surprised sound but kissed him back. When Xiumin finally pulled away, they were both panting. "What was that for?" Xiumin asked, his lips red and swollen and Luhan really wanted to kiss them again- Luhan swallowed. "I just really love you." He replied. Xiumin grinned. "You're very cheesy." He commented before pulling Luhan close again.

They were at the airport. After Xiumin's nagging, Luhan had decided to wear a mask. They were just about to enter the airplane. Luhan glanced at Chanyeol. The boy looked exhausted, despite his 5 hour nap. He was yawning into his hand, earphones on his head no doubt playing loud music to keep the boy awake. Luhan couldn't help but feel slightly guilty over how badly he had treated the boy. Luhan turned to Xiumin. "Minseok, if I ask you something, you won't get mad, right?" He asked. Xiumin smiled at him. "I think you should sit with Chanyeol during the flight." Xiumin said casually. "How did you-" Luhan shook his head. "I know you better than you think. Besides, I might actually be able to sleep without a koala attatched to me." He joked. Luhan playfully punched the boy's shoulder. "Ya!" He said before turning serious. "Are you sure?" Xiumin nodded. "Go ahead. I'll be with Baekhyun." He smiled at Luhan. 

Luhan wanted to kiss the older boy but being at the airport surrounded by their managers, it would be a bit difficult. So he opted, instead, for a hand sqeeze. Xiumin seemed to understand what Luhan meant and gave him a grin, before lifting his other hand and shooing him away. Luhan walked to Chanyeol and patted the boy on the shoulder. Chanyeol turned around and smiled sleepily. "Oh, hi hyung." The tall boy said, his tone happy but tired. "I'm sitting with you in the airplane." Luhan informed the boy happily. "Really? I thought you would be with Minseok hyung!" Chanyeol said, surprise in his voice. "Nah, I'm going to spend the flight with my favourite dongsaeng." 

The smile on Chanyeol's face was almost worth being without Xiumin for 3 hours.
